Friendly staff I've paid for an upgrade to a room with a city view. The so called city view was blocked by the adjacent Hyatt House. If you want a city view, move on to the near by Holiday Inn.

Thought I was staying at a 5 star hotel. It was very clean and upscale.
The customer service at this hotel was great. Whether you are going for business or pleasure this hotel has everything you need. I have have stayed in several hotels in New Orleans and this is by far my favorite,
Beautiful hotel! Convenient street car across the street to get all over the city. Staff is very friendly. Many restaurants and shops for in hotel wants. Nothing!
Location of hotel on streetcar line, availability of wifi, on-site dining options, interior atrium atmosphere. The front desk was understaffed for a busy Friday check-in time causing huge delays. Staff in gen were not very friendly in the hotel. Bathroom was very small and chrome fixtures were rusting. Not enough washcloths, hand towels in room. Pillows on bed were uncomfortable/too hard.
The room was very comfortable to be in. The bed was comfy and lighting was calming. Very little hallway noise and never heard the neighboring rooms. All the staff I encountered was friendly and courteous. The bathroom was a little dirty, some mold growing in the crevice of the shower door. A soap wrapper was left in the bathroom from the last guest. Nothing too major though. Only other complaint would be how confusing it is to get from the main lobby to the room elevators and the parking garage. The signage isnt all that handy as in some areas the main lobby isn't mentioned at all, either is the parking garage. It's especially frustrating with the arbitrarily named conference halls displayed all over.

The service and staff were wonderful! I have stayed at many hotels in New Orleans over the years, and the staff at the Hyatt was by far the most friendly, courteous, and helpful that I have ever experienced. I would absolutely stay there again and again!! Thanks Hyatt!!
Very nice! We came for our anniversary and it was amazing. The staff made our night special. Layout can be a little confusing from the parking garage to the rooms, but once you get use of it it's a little easier.
Great stay! Clean and comfortable hotel. Business center is not free, which is a negative. Carla at the front desk is wonderful!!!
$300 a night for a Motel 6 class room? Heavy Construction started at 7 AM on a Saturday , right outside our window. Parking Garage was a nightmare

Average hotel. Gave us two twin beds instead of one king, but still charged us for the king.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile with a smile on their faces and really tried hard to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Very much appreciated.
Had trouble using key card to enter and leave parking garage.
The rooms are a decent size and the beds are super comfy! We enjoyed our stay the staff was super kind and helpful. I would use this hotel again when traveling to New Orleans again! Everything was clean and when we asked if things to do or places to eat the staff definitely sent us in the right direction and we were never disappointed! Look forward to coming back!
good location close to sites
We liked the location of this hotel. Close to a trolley stop and within walking distance to shopping, casino and dining. The concierge was very helpful with pointing out locations to eat as well as getting us transportation whenever needed. The shower did not drain well and the toilets didnt flush easily. The weather was quite cold during out trip and the poor sealing of the patio door allowed cold air to stream in.
Shuttle service to french quarter etc however, last pick is at 10pm which is too early. I already made my complaint directly to the hotel
I loved the staff. . From the front desk to room keeping. .. I had an issue at another hotel but the staff Holiday Inn got me in earlier than normal. Very friendly. My room never got really cold. .. I believe it was a filter problem.
The shuttle did not run to the convention center as website indicated.

The staff were nice and polite. That we were checked in and never told our room which was purchased as a double room / bath suite was no longer available. Instead we were put into a single room at the same cost and have had to fight and be the middle man between the hotel and kayak / orbitz to get our more than $600 back. Which honestly really didn't make up for our ruined stay cramped into a tiny room with a group. Completely changing our weekend experience for our first trip to New Orleans. We had expected to be compensated and were even told we would be. But were not and still have yet to receive our refund. ;(.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Stove, fridge, and microwave went unused but were appreciated. The complimentary breakfast wasn't all that special, but it got the job done

Excellent Nothing whatsoever
When we arrived the room was hot and had an odor. We assumed it was just that the unit was set on a high temperature. We lowered it and returned later to find no improvement. The gentleman that came to check tried to convince me that it was working. After I disagreed he got his laser temperature gun. It showed that the AC was not at all working. He told me "at least it's not as hot as some other rooms." After arguing with the front desk that this was not acceptable, I was moved to another hotel across the street. We had to carry our own bags across the street in the middle of the night. Terrible experience and will never go back. Do no recommend this hotel.
Convenience, good size of room, availability of buffet breakfast, business area, the buffet breakfast is a bit limited compared to Em bassy Suites for a very similar price,

Went to the Smoothie King Center to watch the Pelicans game. This hotel was within a 5 min walk. Room was large Room was clean - Hotel feels very new. Finding the parking garage was more challenging than assumed. There is a construction adjacent to the building. Made for an early morning wake-up call.

Breakfast Internet in rooms was not working 4 of the 5 days I was there
i liked the location the staff did not have the room ready when we arrived. we were told after waiting for our room to be cleaned that the 3rd floor was closed that the king rooms were on and we had to downgrade to a queen. the parking lot was small and cramped. the lobby was not clean
I love the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Jasmine and Dujuon are the very best! Hope to see them on a future stay. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the pool. I also liked that there was a washer and dryer. I didn't like how firm the beds are. The detergent to wash my clothes were expensive.
The Lady at the reception was receptive, She even let us use occasionally though another computer which was for office use when the only one in business center was busy. Location is good, price is also not so high. The room (307) fire alarm was even broken and there was a hole in place of fire alarm. Cleanliness in walkways is poor to say the least. The property of the hotel is good but carelessly maintained. There is only one computer for internet access. And most importantly the wifi does not work anywhere except around reception. You can see a large group of people sitting at the reception lounge in evenings just because they need wireless connection. This hotel needs a more better management.

location is walking distance to French Quarter, quiet housekeeping was atrocious, upon check-in, toilet had poop stains on underside of toilet seat. No coat-hangers in room. Took two days to get coat hangers. Room reaked of desperate attempt to cover over smoking (non-smoking room with ashtray in room). Thought housekeeping was taking long time to clean some crumbs on floor. On closer inspection they were TOENAIL CLIPPINGS all around sofa and table. AAAAHHH!! So gross. Stayed here for $139 a night to avoid conference hotel of $189 a night. Never again.

Not a super fancy hotel, but a great location and overall value for the money. Never had any problems with the (free) wireless internet. Staff were friendly, responsive, and professional. When my shower hose started leaking about halfway through my stay, I alerted the front desk and the problem was fixed within two hours. Air conditioners were noisy and sometimes woke me up at night. Although I signed up for a non-smoking room, the room smelled pretty smoky when I first checked in.
Nothing I had to vacum my own room they over charged my card and I have to wait seven days to get my money back
