It was ok...
We were able to find parking right in front of the hotel, so it was free otherwise, it would have cost us almost $90!! The subway into the city was close. We had a nice view of NYC from our window, just don't look down, it is all graffiti! They did switch our room after we asked them to clean the bathtub, FULL of mildew!!
Too expensive! It was not a 2 stars, more like no stars! The staff needs to be replaced with smart young people. They couldn't figure out why our room key wouldn't work! The hotel was dirty! Please invest in some bleach for the bathrooms and some carpet cleaning or replacement for the rooms. Stains everywhere. Please also invest on a good housekeeping crew!
great location! awesome view of Manhattan! breakfast not the best, but there is a great tasting and cheap coffee shop/restaurant around the corner(boulevard). staff was helpful. subway (f) train is about a five minute walk, that was great.

1. Everything new, clean, well-designed, well-lit. 2. Very large window with a decent view. 3. Close to a subway stop, one station from central Manhattan. 4. Breakfast a bit above average. 5. Cleaning crew was attentive & helpful. 6. Decent size room for NYC, with light color scheme.
1. They demanded a cash deposit upon check-in, equal to about one night's stay, even though they had my credit card number and passport. Very mistrustful - as if they expect criminals. 2. Immediate neighborhood is somewhat ghetto. 3. No coffee except at breakfast. 4. Front desk staff mediocre. 5. Wake-up call was half-hour early, and then repeated itself 5 minutes later for no reason. 6. No fresh fruit at breakfast.
NYC on the cheap - 2 blocks to subway, 4 stops to
Fairly new hotel, clean, hot breakfast (lump of egg, hot dogs, toaster and juice). 2 blocks from subway, not too scary neighborhood.
Staff still confused, $19 to park, no ice buckets, no fridge, clear windows force you to close curtains, and then AC doesn't work because is blocked by curtains.
Rude staff, no parking
Staff was very rude and there was no parking. Front desk person told me I can park on the street. There was no parking on that street everything was full. Neighborhood did not look safe. Elevator takes 5 mins.
