Good location, comfy bed, pleasent service what else is needed?
A wonderful hotel. the staff was very helpful and the room was great!
Starbucks close to was perfect!
Dirty carpet, tiny room, not very efficient staff
Not enough blankets, no fridge, clogged bathtub. I travel often especially to NYC, I was not pleased. For the price I paid, these issues should not happen.
I really liked the location & feel of the hotel. Nice staff, Starbucks inside. Not far from shopping & easy to catch a cab to get into the city.
Physical appearance is very nice
As soon as my boyfriend & I checked into the hotel, the valet LOST our keys. They made my boyfriend walk with them to the garage (which isn't even connected to the hotel, it's aways down the street) to help them look for his keys....that the VALET lost. No keys found, they had my boyfriend walk back to the hotel by himself-not knowing where he was going or which way to get back. When the keys were finally found two hours later, I asked the manager for a discount on parking after the inconvenience. She said she would "only charge me the $60 for parking" instead of the upcharge on us driving a truck...(which I didn't even know there was a higher charge for a "bigger" vehicle" Overall wasn't a great experience and most likely will not come here again.
We were put on the Mariotte Elite level, so I am not sure all rooms are the same. Our room was roomy for NYC and had everything we needed. If you overlook the ugly decor everything else about the hotel was quite comfortable.
We generally thought the decor in the hotel was really, really ugly. It is a loud modern theme with swirly multicolored bright patterened walls all over, even in our room and the elevators. I believe it was recently renovated to this decor.
even after check out I was able to leave my bags with the bell man For hours before I came back
The view could've been better from my window maybe next time I'll be room specific
The lobby is nice
Changed my room for $50 a night to get a roll away bed. Then the roll away would not fit so had to sleep on the floor ! Should have kept old room! Not happy!!
Lobby was pretty, renovations are nice. Check in staff was friendly. Lobby bar was convenient when open in the evening.
The walls are thin - loud at night. Seemed to be understaffed at points, especially at the baggage check and pick up area on a Sunday. Housekeeping needs more authority - couldn't replenish CUPS in the room, or a face clothe that was missing- they should be allowed to hand those out without calling someone!
The hotel staff were very accommodating to me. Very helpful and genuine. My room was brand new or so it seemed with fresh linens and plush towels. Described as a Cozy Queen I expected something smaller. The Lobby was lively & the Starbucks is convenient. Super location. I'll be back!!
The hotel itself was nice. Clean, cool views, people having a good time, and a Starbucks right in the lobby. Centrally located.
Drinks at the bar were $18 apiece, even a glass of wine. The towels were stiff and the maid didn't pick up dirty washcloth.
Room smelled musty. Surprising for what looks like a recent remodel, but reason became clear when I was on my knees doing my usual cursory "bedbug examination" of the mattress. The baseboards of the room were so filthy I wouldn't have been able to see any bugs if they'd come out in parade whistling Dixie. As it happens, there were none, but I can not stay in that kind of filth, even if it is across the street from one of my favorite restaurants, Avra, and even though a tunnel from Grand Central Terminal allows you to walk practically right there. Soooo convenient wrt location.
It is a good location. Great staff. Clean.
rooms need coffee machines at the minimum. Wifi costs a bundle even when the rooms cost so much my card key kept de-magnetizing every day making it bothersome to keep going up and down
Street/ cab accessibility, Starbucks and Raffles accessibilities
Location, cleanliness, bathroom
Size of room
$2 bag storage fee when room wasn't ready. Room was too small. Internet was expensive. Maid stocked room with conditioner instead of shampoo.
Service. I asked for receipt and they blew me off.
