Upon entering the hotel I marveled at the grand chandelier beaming overhead. I felt like I was entering a royal facility! The reception was pleasant and professional, quick to check me in. After unpacking in my room, I asked for a change of room. Due to the surprise of my room facing a wall of another building, scratches on the furniture, low room temp, dark/ not enough light, and low cell phone signal. I called downstairs, and within 5 minutes I was pleasantly upgraded to a 1 Bedroom Suite. Let me say, the Suite life is for me! Yes! My Suite had parque flooring, marble wall and interior. The separate living room had 12 lush red pillows on 2 black striped sofas, complete w mini bar, separate bathroom and a huge mirrored wall. Exquisite! My bedroom was outstanding! 60 inch flat screen TV, golden gilded glass desk, walk in closet and the bathroom had a bidet. Oh what a wonderful experience! I didn't like that Wifi wasn't already included in the room feature; it was an additional charge of $15 p/day! Ridiculous. They have to change that, it's modern to include Wifi in the Hotel room itself.
big room a bit corny
good hotel no
My boyfriend & I arrived separately. So I left a note with front desk reception to ask him to meet me for dinner. When he checked in, it was communicated. We originally had a suite next to the elevators on the 7 floor, but the white decor left me feeling too whitewashed. I requested another suite line on the same floor. Within 10 minutes the change was made and our new suite felt warm and cozy! This is my 2nd stay here & we enjoyed our stay. We'll return here for sure. I didn't like that Wifi isn't included in our room rate. You have to go to the lobby area in order to get it. Let's face it; that's sucky. It should already be included in your room rate. Also I think the continental breakfast should include more options like eggs, along with the pastries. Maybe even dried salami/ select meats.
Location in midtown is excellent The restaurant is not special and there is no dedicated lounge area
The concierge The. Breakfast and the fact that the windows were so filthy we couldn't see outside the window
staff generally very friendly, rooms really great...staff actively upgraded us. quiet, peaceful; bathrooms nice, clean, friendly, bellmen great, helpful, went out of their way, would clearly come again and recommend to others. waitress at bar a little off putting. had some difficulty storing bags at checkout....seems that some people did not want them.
We enjoyed our stay the rooms were beautiful and well kept. the staff was exceptional, they paid alot of attention to detail.
the location was perfect for a weekend in New York. The room was spotless. The complimentary breakfast was the icing in the cake. When we arrived, the front desk staff was so busy talking among themselves that they didn't notice us when we walked up, we had to politely interrupt them.
Nice size room, very comfortable bed, adequate closet space, fabulous shower, ample comfortable soft towels, jingling chandelier lights in the elevators, breakfast room with coffee & croissants Noise neighbors - caused us a loss of a solid night's sleep. Would have preferred a coffee maker in the room.
Centrally located cozy Hairs in the tub :x
Ambiance of Europe . Clean and tidy . . All the furnitures were in good shape. Air conditioning system is old and noisy
Location. First night we stayed in a room facing the street, and couldn't sleep because of the continous thudding noise (caused by the vehicles going over the steel plates covering the construction work). They offered us another room (and 10% discount for the whole stay a gesture we appreciated). The new room was quiet, and we had a good rest. At the checkout, I realized that the discount was applied to 3 nights instead of 4 (I am sure it was an honest mistake). I tried to explain the situation to the clerk, but she acted indifferently, and I didn't have the time/energy to escalate it. Otherwise the staff are very professional and helpful.
Convenient Location It was expensive for what was available
Convenient mid town location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Wifi service. Pleasant and helpful staff. Tiny room with small window looking directly into a brick wall 6 feet away! The room temp was 76 degrees and COULD NOT BE REGULATED. The maintenance engineer came to the room and confirmed the high temp but said there was no way to reduce the high dry heat.
Location was excellent. I thought my room was way too small. I was in one of the 02 rooms and it was tiny. never stay in any of the rooms that end with 02. There was a gentleman in the library when I was there speaking on the cell phone complaining that his closet at home was bigger than his room. I asked to change out of my room and they said they were sold out. I will never stay at this hotel again unless I am shown the size of the room first. Otherwise, it was clean, good location and good staff.
Everything... great hotel, great location!
Accomodations and staff were wonderful. Location is convenient and in an extremely staff area.
Conveniently located,comfortable,pleasant stuff.
Cosy and comfortable The ventilation in the toilet is noisy.
Location, Location, Location! Great mid-town location, steps away from shops, theaters and landmarks. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room although very small bathroom. Great restaurant! Small bathroom.
I liked the staff, excellent service and the confort of the bed. The room was really small, for the money spent, I did not expect that.
Delightful. Very kind staff, lovely room. Very good value at just over $200 Room seemed a bit humid
Super helpful staff Rooms not really set for business -- few plugs, no coffeemaker
Fantastic staff that went above and beyond to meet our needs. Turn town service was nice (cookies in the room!). The room was very small, but functional. There was a party going on down the hall that was very loud due to the thin walls. Took 2 hours from the first threat to kick the people out at 3am.
Clean, quiet, friendly, accessible to subways and attractions.
It was fine... Nothing I would say it was a 4 star. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The cookie at night was good! Room was TINY! Barely enough room for the bed.... And it was only a full bed. Everything was old. Wallpaper was dis colored and peeling, bathroom tile had the corners that looked dirty but were just so old the tiles were worn. The bed was more of a futon than a real mattress.
When I arrived, I was given a free upgrade to a queen size room. I was prepared, given the other reviews, for a pretty small room, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was more than enough room for just myself, and the bathroom was spacious as well. I also really liked the toiletries (they smelled so good!) and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Turning the shower to "high pressure" resulted in a very wet bathroom floor. I hadn't expected the lip between the shower and the bathroom to be so low! Additionally, I left my bag at the front desk the day I checked out, and I guess someone else's bag leaked something on mine? Or it's stored in the same space as they keep extra toiletries. The stain it left smelled a lot like the toiletries they give out. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it until I got home.
Only 1 window in room and it opened to a brick wall. Unable to see daylight. Room was like staying in. Large closet.
Great room. Great location. Clean and comfortable. No water the next morning with no credits or discounts offered.
Large comfortable room quiet great bathroom and shower great shutters
On line it said bathrobes but there are none.
Staff very friendly. good location. Bed was very uncomfortable
Deluxe digs for modest dimes
Very compact but plenty adequate and very clean. Floor layout interesting. Filtered water available. Great location
Perfect location if you need to get in and out using Grand Central Station. Friendly staff - very accomodating in finding the right room/bed solution for me and my teenage son. Very clean. Great bed. Very hot, especially on upper floors - hot air rises! Kind of enjoyed the heat though!

Location and staff Room size
Great room and the 27th floor terrace was amazing! Our tv was not working.
Location Not a 4 star on any measure
Location is great- close to grand central station and to to many attractions. The bed was disappointing. I could feel the springs on the mattress, it is either very old, or poor quality, or both. I moved to the side closest to the wall and it helped.
The hotel staff was very guest friendly. I arrived by flight in the morning and thought to check my bags and went out for several hours. The lady staff was so nice. She told me there was room and checked me in the the morning!
Convenience and staff worked hard to meet all our needs Convenience to Grand Central Station and restaurant in hotel providing all 3 meals
Room and bathroom was very clean. Great staff. The internet TV did not work properly. There was no iron and ironing board in the room - you had to go to a common area to grab one. Strange.
Great central location immediately adjacent to Grand Central Terminal. Staff were very police and the rooms and common areas were clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
The location and the clear view from our room of the ball in time square. The hotel also has a small room were complimentary wine and finger foods are offered. I believe there is an additional charge however for us it was complementary. There was no consistency in the overall friendliness of the staff. The hotel is rated at 4 1/2 stars and I did not have a remote control in my room, when I ask for one they simply told me they were out. They offered a 1PM check out as compensation.
The complimentary continental breakfast and happy hour and the location is why I will return. The hotel is a 1/2 block from Times Square and a block away from many Broadway theaters. Rooms were nice and my very picky mother even approved! Friendly staff. Not much of a family hotel. Rooms only have one queen size bed each. No double beds are available, and there is not enough room for a cot. A bit of mildew was visible in shower. Not enough to turn me away, but a little power cleaning may be helpful.
Hotel although not right in time square where I have stayed before it was only steps away and very close and within walking distance (of course I like to walk)to everything I was going to the city for on this trip I would have liked a higher floor but room was nice and I didn't like that every time you got in the elevator you had to use your key card before you could press the floor button they should have set it up to use the key card to get on elevator
The Premier is without question the BEST hotel stay we've had in NY. Beautifully designed and maintained. Rooms are spacious. The absolutely RIDICULOUS 1 hour and 45 minute wait for our car.
People, hh, breakfast No
Location location location It was in no way a 4.5 star hotel. I feel i was cheated by calling this as a 4.5 star, in no ways this could have been more than a 2 star in my view. Its definitely not worth the price paid for it and the staffs are very rude at the reception.
Great hotel. Amazing location. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable.
Location I was there at 10:/30, I check in with credit at that time since I would not be back until after 6:00. I was asked what type of bed preference so I requested 2 beds. When I returned they gave me one size for two adults. My adult son and I.

Price and location
4.5 stars misleading. We were told to walk through several under construction doors down the street to a small, unimpressive lobby with Rude staff who made us wait several minutes while they talked badly about other guests.
Fantastic location, extremely helpful staff. Best hotel I have ever tried when in New York. Absolutely would come back. Nothing.
Great room. Clean. Comfy bed. Limited view.
Clean room, very nice cleaning staff. Front desk people pretty ho hum . Slow elevators during peak times. Not all elevators working. Kept stopping at floors for people with override keys. Very expensive hotel overall, hotel ( hotel rate), food ($4.50 for a cup of tea at the cafe on the main floor & you have to make it yourself!)
Very good ambiance in lobby and also bedroom. Very nice experience during entire stay. Closer access to all main attractions & restaurants in NewYork. Value for money in major city. No hotel valet parking so need to find other valet parking nearby.
We were on the 36th floor and most of the elevators were broken during our stay. Was difficult getting to and from our room. We had to use the service elevator many times.
Location was excellent. Lack of options in the neighbourhood for affordable food, unless you wish to tempt fate and eat from a cart of death on the street. Gave us some credit for our hot room. Room was hot, hot, hot. Ac could not keep up. Went down to front desk to ask for assistance. They tried to find a fan but could not( 2:30 am don't blame them). The next day we had to get maintenance up the next day and they found us a fan.
Great access to grand central station, i.e. don't even have to go outside. Beautiful modern lobby, with dedicated elevators, so short wait times. Nice rooms, modern. Black mildew inside shower curtain. Did not swap out all towels after first evening so had to have face cloths and hand towels delivered. Maids talking in hallway while cleaning rooms early in the morning (my biggest pet peave).
staff very helpful elevators out of svce at times
Location Room smelled, they tried to not offer our booked room type. Even after calling and confirming the day of.
This location is awesome!!! Can not beat it! Room was too hot and would not cool Elevators were SLOW - seemed liked only one was working
proximity to train station, snack bar in lobby, restaurant just up from the lobby dirty bathroom floor, poor unkeep in bathroom--sloppy caulking around shower door, built-up crud around shower area, couldn't get into shower without walking directly under shower head. Worst problem was the "modern" touch light switches---couldn't leave a light on in the bathroom to see your way there in the middle of the night. Difficult to use all lights. Dark décor--depressing and dark wallpaper installed poorly--all you noticed were the seams in the wallpaper
Location Cleanliness Restaurant organization Front desk layout
Location is very good, convenient. The room is smelly & small for the superior room. The service is very rough, doesn't meet the standard of Sheraton service as I expect.
Great Location 1) No Robes or slippers 2) Only catered for coffee drinkers in room NO tea making facilities
location fittness room
Location, Price Attitude of service staff. The fornt desk was very good. the support staff from baggage check to getting a cab were unfriendly and lacked customer appreciation.
From our friendly greeting at the front desk to room service everyone top notch service ! Highly recommend !
The matress was old not comfortable and making a squeaking, and the parking was very expensive and i have to wait to 12 minutes for my car , the staff didn't care when i told them my wife pregnant and she can't be on her feets for long times, i travel a lot and have been in the sheraton in too many countries but that was not what I usually got , not worse my money.
Your hotel is located at the heart of Manhattan and it was very convinient for sightseeing.
exellent location. Very helpful staff
The appearance of the hotel is beautiful. It was clean, very friendly staff, luxurious accommodations! Nothing
It's location only The late checking in times, and the room service was poor
The location of the hotel was superb within walking distance of all the major attractions that we wanted to visit. We experienced two problems during our stay at the hotel and it was at these times that we felt disappointed with the service provided by the hotel. We found them to be inefficient with what we were asking of them and at times rude. This was made more disappointing because when there wasn't a problem, as a general rule, the staff were pleasant.
The location was the only thing this place has going for it. The rooms ware super old. Old furniture. Super small bathrooms. Extremely small showers. Not clean. A real dump in my opinion.
The only good service I got was from the room service staff and the hotel handyman who came to help we with my heat after being dismissed by the front desk attendant The front desk staff I encountered upon check in was beyond rude, beyond inhospitable. I had to wonder if I was getting a rom for charity or had I not just spent a tidy sum to stay there. As a business owner, I had to speak to the management whose response was less than satisfactory. Had my check in by been at 11pm I would've cancelled and stayed elsewhere. Had I not been tired- the sidewalk outside would have sufficed. I will NEVER stay there again not recommend anyone to. I have Zero tolerance for bad service and rude staff. They should be let go or out around the back to count towels or something. Not interact with humans
I did not like anything about the hotel besides it's location and even that wasn't worth the stay I dislike that you had to pay for Wi-Fi, the hotel all on it's own was dated, bed sheets were stained, king size bed seemed like a full size, heater made loud noises that woke you up, the water temperature would change when the next door neighbors toilet would flush or at any point the water was being used elsewhere, the sheets were ripped and lights would flicker, elevator was slow. The price you pay is simply for the location. The hotel itself was not worth it
The location was all we paid for. Great spot. The room was half the size of the photos and there was hardly room for the bed. The hair hair dryer set the smoke detector off. No fridge. No microwave. Had to pay for internet. Pretty much a bed storage closet with a smoking hair dryer.
The room was as advertised- 2 double beds, there was also a fridge and microwave. Enough room for 4 of us ( 2 older teenage 6 foot boys - bit of a squish in a double bed, but they figured it out!!) - The shower was high pressure and stayed hot for the four of us. The staff were courteous and very helpful. There is a coffee /breakfast restaurant on site that is convenient. We did not spend too much time at the hotel - it is very conveniently located to subway, walking distance to radio city, Times Square, Shops on 5th Ave and Central Park. The shower curtains need more magnets on the bottom. When you turn the shower on. The pressure from the shower causes the curtain to envelop you as you're showering!
the location was great. Close to several attractions - times square, rockefeller, central park, etc. the bathrooms need updating
Location was extremely ideal! There was no thermostat so I wasn't able to control the heat. It happened to be the coldest weekend in NYC and the existing heater wasn't keeping up, making our room get pretty cold. I'm sure it wouldn't matter if it hadn't had gotten that cold
We loved the huge rooms. I wish they had said it was a 2 bedroom, we would have taken a friend along. We figured it was just a normal room with 2 beds. It's always nice to know when you have an extra room.
We loved the Wellington. We will be back.
Location was great. Next to Carnegie Hall and convenient to the subway. Comfortable beds. Front desk staff were friendly We did get free internet Shower ran hot and cold with no notice. Bathroom was cold, felt like it had no heat Difficult to ask assistance because the front desk was always busy and there was either no concierge or the one available was not very helpful or friendly
Hotel was clean, parking was $40 for 24hour and it was in a good location.
I liked the location to Central Park and Times Square. Ice machine access and air conditioner was touchy
close to times square and central park this hotel is not so clean than they say
Very well located Breakfast room too noisy, too busy and as a consequence breakfast too slow. As a result we used other venues. No sauna or steam room and pool area disappointing.
The heat was turned off by policy and could not be turned on. The in room thermostats appeared to be operational but did nothing. I wasted a lot of timing adjusting a non-operational thermostat and got a cold. Management clearly could not care less. Have been staying at the hotel since it opened and will never return. I will make sure every hotel review Web site is aware of this. I already informed a friend's daughter who recommends lodging for staff and visitors for a major New York financial services company. Pretty expensive hotel to have heat like a tenement.
Great swimming pool, great restaurant, great location, great service Nothing!
The location The room did not smell very good and it did not have basic amenities like a coffee machine!
Great location with gorgeous views. Don't miss Norma's brunch. Among the best in the city.
Great big room, great location and has one of the best burgers in town
Great location, very friendly staff, great burger joint downstairs. Everything is an extra, you have to pay to use the gym or get internet access.
Liked the Pool and location close to Central Park and 5th Avenue.
The location was fabulous. We could walk to most of the sights that we wanted to visit. The suite was not comparable to others in the same price range, based on my prior experience. There was no turn down service, nor complimentary items that you may have forgotten, ie toothbrush. Also a separate room does not necessarily mean there is a door.
Location of hotel was great, but they could not check me into my 26th floor Central Park view room on time, nor tell me when my room would be ready; I needed to change clothes for a dinner event, so they finally put me in a room which Karolin said was at least as nice as the room I had requested, guaranteed and prepaid to have. she said she personally checked the view. it was on a lower floor, had a blocked view, and another noisy office building's a/c unit, so close someone waved at me through their window when I got back at midnight. No view of Central Park. I requested room change, and finally got my Central Park view my last night there. Crowded lobby/bar/concierge area due to Burger Joint restaurant line a large part of the day...residents of hotel had to wait an hour in line if they wanted to eat there.
Check out was at 12 Check in was at 2, and the room I was position at had no views.
Really close to everything! Staff was nice. WE had room 409 and it was really small ......the windows faced the school gymnasium next door so we had to keep our blinds closed so the room was dark unless we had ALL the lights on. Not sure I would stay again, but it was very convenient.
Good location, friendly staff, clean and decent sized rooms for NYC. Reserved 3 "deluxe double" rooms but when I arrived front desk told me those are not guaranteed when booking through 3rd party website (then why do they give you an option of what type of room you want). Anyway, I received 2 deluxe doubles and a king room with a roll away bed. Not ideal but the king room was large and the rollaway was actually pretty nice. Also, valet service is SLOW. Call at least 45 minutes ahead for your car.
The staff was pleasant and very helpful. We loved the location. We were right in the mix of everything and in walking distance to the metro. Bar/restaurant was a bit pricey for what we received. Felt a bit nickel and dimed...i.e. Charges to make a phone call.
- room was extremely clean, decor was very nice - the size of the room king room was perfect with plenty of space to feel comfortable and not cramped like typical NYC hotels - bathroom was good size and extremely clean - location was great (midtown east but more central and just further away from the tourist traps that you can get a nice night of sleep) - hotel restaurant was a little small but efficient for an early breakfast. - this is officially my new go to hotel when I have short business trips in NYC. The price is great and it has everything I need. i don't have anything negative to say about this hotel.
Friendly staff, great bar, and well priced. The rooms are a little small but we've had smaller in Manhattan.
Great staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Especially door men and bell hops. Arrived in rain and they were right there with umbrellas. Stayed on 4th floor and often a loud noise in the walls would wake me up. Possibly related to ventilation or pipes?
Service, service, service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff was all smiles, even the guys painting the hallway, so I'm assuming this place treats everyone well. The room was awesome! I ordered champagne at 1 in the morning, the guy helping me confirmed my order - then called back 10 minutes later to tell me they were out of the bottle I requested but they would give me the next option up at the same price. Had an awesome stay. This is the first time I have stayed at a hotel where I am struggling to write something here. Prices of the hotel bar maybe? Not really a fair complaint as this is a luxury hotel in NYC.
Very Friendly and attentive staff. Location away from Times Square but still walkable. Proximity to Central Park! Very Clean Rooms that seem to be a rarity in NYC! You need a cab? The Doormen have that handled quickly! Hotel Car service to the Airport is a value for the money! I did come home with bug bites on my legs that itched through out my stay there. I can't say for certain it was from the bed but may have came from room.
Nice staff Remodeling so no restaurant or bar, small lobby
Room was large, bed comfortable Street noise, room keys failed to work multiple days in a row, knocking on my door at 6:30am despite DND. I've stayed at OneUN, and at the Candlewood- in both places i felt that the cost was more aligned with the quality than it was at at the Omni.
Clean and pleasant. There was not coffee machine. The refrigerator was not working properly and did not get cold.
It was a nice hotel and the staff was all very nice, the free wifi doesn't work and the "premium" wants you to pay $15 a day. The location was great. Internet issues
The location is great. The staff was courteous. The room looked like it was from the 80's. The paint is cracking all over. Light fixtures not in securely and filthy windows. Carpet needs replacing and look around the ceiling you can see were there's a lot of repairs that needs to be done.
i had to wait for over an hour in a lobby for a check in - the garanteed check-in time was 3pm, at 2:58pm it was still "too early"
Clean and convenient location. NYPD and NYFD right next door so you might hear sirens at all hours.
Location was really good. My room didn't have a/c and made it hard to sleep. No water pressure while taking a shower. Told the front desk and they acted like they didn't care.
clean helpful I am used to complimentary breakfasts the buffet at $30 head was not that great! 0
Quality room including quality furniture. All staff interactions were pleasant. I was lucky to get a good price. Excellent location in Midtown East, very close to the southern end of Central Park. Not a hotel for people who crave a view. My room was very much a back alley view
Rude staff long waits for checkin or any service Long waits for checkout. Substandard food in restaurant.
Convenient local with the 4,5,6 trains on the corner of the hotel. DeMarco coffee next door was amazing. Room was updated and bed was very comfortable. Close enough to everything without being in the chaos!
Size of room
Loved the location Interior appeared a bit old/out dated Perfect for us, used hotel to sleep and toured city most of the day Enjoyed the bar before Broadway
We book a double bed but they reserved one king size. However, the staff was able to roll in a bed which was comfortable. The place was incredibly crowded and the bellmen were understaffed, but they worked hard to accommodate us and others. Bravo.
The location was perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room (suite) was spacious considering how small some NYC hotel rooms can be. Although this can't be avoided, the two elevators servicing all 23 floors were slow.
Staff were very nice! Clean room!
The staff was outstanding! The room was large, clean and easy to do work on business projects, read and relax in. It was quiet. Convenient location with good restaurants nearby.
Helpful staff Error on booking + noisy
Hotel was fantastic. BIG, clean room, we had a Jr. Suite and the wine hour in the lounge was great. Considering the location and the price, I don't think we could have done better.
The room, on the 3rd floor overlooking the front entrance, was spacious by NY standards & well equipped. The room was very clean & the bed as very comfortable with a choice of pillows. Staff were helpful & polite. On the downside because the room was on the 3rd floor it was quite noisy during the night with refuse trucks & deliveries etc. NY is a busy place though so I don't think it's the hotels fault.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and well appointed, the location was great, handy to everything.
i loved the room and its furnishings i loved the location i loved the concierge staff i did not find the front desk staff particularly helpful or inclined to help with standard questions or requests the street noise on the 5th floor was pretty extreme, in so far as construction could be felt through the bed at all hours of the day and night.
Very good rooms, large with plenty of space for three people in each suite. Good kitchen facilities within the suite with all amenities.Small bathrooms. The staff were excellent very helpful and friendly.
All of the staff were incredibly warm and engaging. The door man's guest engagement and sincere care for an outstanding experience was remarkable and memorable. That interaction alone would cause me to choose FiftyNYC on my next visit to New York.
Building is not so high, having a ballcony is a good value, the location is good, hotel is safe enough
room and towels wee clean and shower was pleasant. the wifi is expensive to purchase. reserved a king bed was told that i an only get room with the double. Heat was terrible in winter NYC could not get heat tried to change room but the heat situation was the same..
Great location, parking garage next door, nice design/decor. A hip contemporary boutique hotel. The room was small but was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities that are needed.
Great Location, reasonably quiet, mid level hotel which we would recomend to any visitor to New York. Almost right on Times Square but removed enough to be quieter, close to theatres and transport. Resturant meals good and fairly priced.
Fabulous location. Great facilities and friendly staff.
The Location No warm water at most times, not too clean bathroom.
The location was fantastic, So close to everything. Noisey at night and very early in morning.
The location was great...and my 2 year old daughter loved the fish tank in the lobby. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Our room (#202) was directly above the restaurant/bar - which played loud dance music until 3am. This was very disruptive and uncomfortable. We should not have been given this room.
The staff was so friendly, they boarded our bags since we got there early. So clean, perfect location
that it is very close to Times Square staff was not friendly or welcoming, elevators were too slow and too small, room was terribly small, safety box did not work, we were not offered to take our bags to room, when leaving the bill was extremely expensive and the room really was not a large king size as I had purchased it.. you could hear the other guests at night, and the valet that got us the taxi cab got a tip from us and told us we would have to pay close to $50 when in fact it was only $25
Early check in and late check out. Their website doesn't feature the minuscule room size. It is impossible for two people to move around at the same time in their standard queen size room. The bar downstairs is super noise during the weekend, blasting music until 5am. The door slamming/poor planing on their part as far as architecturing the minuscule room was terrible. Drunks on the floor. No receptionist during late hours. The shower was cold. Elevators move at a turtle pace. Concierge service is non existent, they are worried about commissions apparently, terrible recommendations. Bring a backpack if you want to stay there, that is all you can fit in a standard room. Ridiculous hotel concept and cheesy decor.
Great location, staff was welcoming, and access to nearby attractions was second to none.
The hotel was in a great location near Times Square, very clean and good quality, the concierge was helpful and the staff friendly. The hotel restaurant was disappointing, poorly staffed and expensive. We did not stay and eat as there are so many nearby restaurants.
