About Merakia
Merakia, a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, and love, is a restaurant that celebrates this rustic style of cooking, known in Greece as a Psistaria, where meats are either grilled or cooked on a spit. Owners Andreas and Renee Typaldos, with their dedicated team, feature items that would make the starving armatoloi freedom fighters proud. Steaks will be well represented and served with Greek accompaniments, while lamb, goat, chicken and other meats and fish will be roasted on the spit with a selection of Greek inspired wines, appetizers, salads and desserts.
