Pros: Stephen and his wife were super hosts. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful fruit and pastries. They were very helpful with directions for places we wanted to see. Made a good recommendation for dinner at a nearby restaurant. Their yard was lovely and peaceful. Very good parking.

Pros: Great options for breakfast, lovely atmosphere, so welcoming and nice not a bad word to say, a lovely family, 10/10 it was clean and warm, comfy bed, lovely extras waiting in the room.
Cons: The one thing that I didn't like was the fact there was a used razor in the drawer in the bathroom with hairs on it, easily missed and wint be marked down for this is as the guest who used it should have binned it.

The property itself is of a very high standard in a very local location, walking distance to trails, coastal walk and town. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and offer a unique breakfast menu including smoked salmon or American style, accompanied with and extensive continental style buffet.

Pros: One of the most scenic B&Bs we’ve stayed in. Hosts were Very welcoming. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Cons: The room we stayed in was not en-suite. This was not a problem at all. It did say private bathroom, which it was, but it could potentially be made more obvious that it is not en-suite on booking.com. This is a very minor issue.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Too many things to write! The owners were extremely nice and helpful. They treated us like family!! The food was outstanding (best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had anywhere in the world!!). Great views. Loved the doors that fully opened and the setting to open from top. Great property!! We loved meeting Tilly and “the girls.” Would always stay there should we travel to Belfast again.
Cons: That our stay wasn’t longer!! Seriously my wife not I could not think of anything we didn’t like.

Pros: Fantastic hosts, facilities and location. Everything you could possibly want has been thought of. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We had the best night's sleep in peaceful luxury. Breakfast is incredible, all local produce used, cooked and presented as good as a restaurant with Michelin stars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxury accomodation with real wow factor and a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful peaceful location. Pear Tree Hill was perfect. Avril manages to be the perfect host, friendly and welcoming but without being in any way intrusive . There was excellent attention to detail and thoughtful extra touches everywhere. Definitely the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A Luxurious countryside stay! Really nice personalised touches, slippers, bath robes, excellent coffee, dainty sweet condiments and much more. I loved the cooked breakfast and the option to join the rest of the guests for breakfast around the table. Avril our host was lovely to deal with and very helpful. And our bedroom view was absolutely Superb! We will definitely return but hopefully with more time to relax and enjoy our stay more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Accommodation, location, owners (went out of their way to make my business stay so easy and comfortable), breakfast, and the breathtaking views across Ireland. There is a real warmth here, you just want to open a bottle of wine with the owners and have a good blether.
Cons: Leaving my lovely room and going to work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about Peartree. Avril was brilliant in her communications with me prior to arriving. She made me feel so welcome and even gave me a hug when I left! The room itself was lovely; such a comfortable bed & pillows, brilliant heating, the most amazing rainfall shower and freestanding bath, all the amenities you'd need and a stunning view from the window. I really felt like they'd made a list of everything they didn't like about other hotels and B&Bs and made sure they planned all those missing aspects into their rooms - it was just perfect. The breakfast was also amazing! I had a full Irish one morning and the smoked salmon bagel another morning - both delicious. There were so many other little details that I could note but I'd go on forever - one that stood out was that Avril knew I was coming in late from a wedding, so she left me a couple of bits of fruit in case I was hungry when I returned (which I was!). Such a nice little touch. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
Cons: This is absolutely no negative about Peartree itself, only a recommend to those staying there. I'm sure you will have researched the location, but you'll need a car really to get a round as it's not in central Belfast and about 40 mins from the International airport. I was only there for a wedding so not sightseeing, but I'd definitely recommend staying here out of the centre with a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wasn’t expecting it to be so good! Avril was so friendly and helpful, the accommodation was excellent, def 5*, breakfast yummy!! Def recommend
Cons: Nothing

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very central location, right in the middle of the city center. All the staff members we dealt with were very pleasant. Room was big, bed was very comfy. Really good A/C and the hotel had a nice modern feel to it.
Cons: Room that we were in didnt 100% match the picture shown, dont get me wrong the room was quiet and comfy and generously sized, it just wasnt as nice as I thought it was going to be. Parking around the area isnt the best, there is a 24hr car park about a mile away but that was about £21.50 for 24hrs.

Cons: Bedside light was not suitable for reading in bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, location and extra comfy bed! The breakfast each morning is such a lovely touch and the smart tv is a plus. Highly recommend!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was so fabulous. Decor in my favourite colours and room was well laid out. Everything had been thought of. Great location and friendly staff on the reception. We loved the little morning breakfast bags - great idea as sometimes on a break away you don’t want to get up and dressed to walk down for something to eat. The kitchen area is very well equipped- would be excellent if staying more than one nite as you would have the option of preparing your own food.
Cons: During our stay the mirror fell off the wall! It was early in the morning and I had no idea what the noise had been! The mirror thankfully did not break, but unfortunately my sleep had been interrupted so I did not get a good rest.

Pros: Easy check in. Great location. Fantastic breakfast. Great staff.
Cons: All good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a good-sized, clean and modern room with complimentary bottles of water. The bed was comfortable. The really big advantages at this hotel are: 1. The very nice, chatty and over all pleasant staff 2. The little parking lot. Although there wasn´t space when we arrived, we somehow managed to park the car there anyway... 3. The excellent breakfast, served to order. It is a good value hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, but all the same very central. I do recommend it.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The Tara Lodge is a great spot for a stay in Belfast. The front desk staff are amazing, the provided breakfast is terrific (don't miss the power porridge!). The location is easy walking distance to city centre and are Lind the corner to some great cafes and dinner spots. Molly's Yard is not to be missed, best dinner in the UK so far!
Cons: The area is close to the university so there was some late night noise from kids coming home after an evening at the bar. Thankfully, the windows are good and blocked the majority of the noise, but if you want your windows open that could be a challenge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, great staff
Cons: Rooms bit hot, could do with air conditioning
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleaning, comfortable room, nice staff, good position.
Cons: Standard Breakfast, not excellent. No parking available.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money and good location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: It was warm so we needed to leave the windows open and our room was to the front so we were kept awake by the traffic and returning party people on the street.

Cons: Duvets should be down filled, not polyester - they don't breath and get too hot
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host- thank you for looking after us! Beautiful surroundings. Excellent breakfast, nice big room with en-suite.
Cons: The only concern was that if it snows the property is difficult to reach because it’s in a more remote location. - we were fine in the end.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spotless clean Owners put a lot of work into this business Breakfast was top class
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Chris and Sydney are great hosts. They made us feel right at home and really showed interest in us and gave us some tips to visit the 'hidden places'. The house and the room are very clean and breakfast is really good. The 2 dogs are really cute, and the view from you room is beautiful and serene. If we ever go back to this part of North Ireland we would book it at the Ballyrusley B&B.
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: We had a very warm welcome from Chris and the breakfast was 5* with delicious locally sourced food and wonderful home made jams (especially the blackberry).
Cons: It would have been nice to have a couple of chairs in our bedroom to put our clothes on, but there was a large wardrobe which we could have used!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and a good breakfast.
Cons: Last minute booking due to a cancelled flight. Due to events in town the first night was £529!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, luxurious room with every little extra detail tended to. Staff very professional and polite. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Perfect choice of hotel if you want something a little bit special.
Cons: Service at breakfast was quite slow.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location for access to city centre and sightseeing. Famous bars just around the corner and City Hall a short 5 minute walk away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Upon checking out it came to my attention someone had made charges to our room. Not the nicest way to leave the hotel in the end. The staff quickly removed the charges from the final bill and apologised but seeing how easily people can do it was a bit annoying. Having paid a lot to stay there it's a bit ridiculous.
6.0 Good
Pros: location
Cons: five star hotel has black mold on shower ceiling and hours of restaurant
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location in the heart of the city
Cons: We had to move rooms due to a leak so they said. We were told we would be upgraded for the inconvenience but it was a smaller room. Moved again but but just the same so no upgrade. Over priced hotel for what you get, expected more won’t be going again. Oh and no car park so had to park and walk in, not good really
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room itself is comfortable and have all you need from good smelling products in the shower to mint pastilles in a very fantastic writing/amenity set in the room. The hotel generously provide you with bottled water (2 per day) and have a turn down service (fantastic cleaning staff). Bed, pillows, blanket and bed linen is good but not amazing. Location of the hotel is very good, you are close to everything.
Cons: There are two things that we did not appreciate with the hotel. Firstly, not once did the staff in the reception (or concierge) say hello to us when we passed by the lobby to/from our room - not even a smile. Would have made a much nicer impression if staff atleast once during our 3 night sleep could have looked up and smiled or said hello. Secondly the breakfast was £20 per person and such a disappointment. We were told we needed to let the reception know the evening before if we were to take the breakfast (to get a better price) after our first day try we did not take it again but ofcourse on the bill when checking out 3 days breakfast charged. The hotel adjusted quickly but I wonder what the thing with "must tell to get a better price" was about. Also we found the breakfast having small selection, took long time to get coffee to the table, not freshly baked bread and ell did not meet our expectations.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The mini be good if it was included in room price
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We skipped breakfast at hotel and had something later during the morning in a cafe. We had dinner at Zen Chinese at Ann’s square by st Ann’s Catherdral. Lovely place.
Cons: Parking. £12 over night in a public car park part of bus and train station.
7.5 Good
Pros: Wasn't 5 star more 3 star .not worth €253 a night .want 5 star 4 seasons
Cons: Cleaning staff kept knocking our bedroom door and walking into our rooms this happened three times in 2 days that we stayed there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent , chocolates under pillow were a great touch and staff were very friendly
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and bedroom was very nice.
Cons: Trying to park when I first arrived wasn't good, no clear signage where to park car before getting to car park.

Pros: The hotel is really really nice and in a brilliant location. Bed was super comfy and best pillows I’ve ever slept on! Spotlessly clean and well presented.
Cons: The room was smaller than i expected and had one small window so not a lot of natural light. Rude awakening in the morning when next room turned on their shower and pipes started groaning loudly. Hotel promised to look into it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beds super comfy, room was clean, and views were fantastic!! Staff where very helpful during check in a they were able to recommend a few local places to get a massage and to go for dinner. Also enjoyed the breakfast it was very nice!
Cons: The windows in the room don't open which is kind of annoying, very minor issue though as there was good air conditioning. Sometimes fresh air is nice though! Couldn't get up to the rooftop bar as last orders are at 11. Our own fault though for not checking as we left it to late.

We thought it best to leave our car in the B and B’s car park as the bus stop into Belfast city centre was just across the road and they run frequently.

Pros: Comfortable, nicely furnished B&B with very friendly staff, easy street parking, and close to restaurant and entertainment areas. The University and Queen's Quarter has a lot of interesting architectural styles.
Cons: Currently, there is extensive property renovation in many streets and areas around the lodging. There were challenges finding Harpers because houses may not have street numbers, their street signs may be down or obstructed, and there are 3 different streets named University (University Ave, St, Road)
9.3 Excellent

Pros: Location excellent, have stayed many times and hotel and staff are wonderful.
Cons: Only complaint is that the breakfast cooked is always cold.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious rooms, beautiful surroundings
Cons: The breakfast was not good and cost £50 for myself and my 8 year old son. The buffet items were dried up and unappetising for the cost I think the Culloden could do a lot better. We weren’t even offered toast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We are both vegetarians and explained this. The waitress brought our breakfasts out with bacon on top, we explained again, plates were taken away and brought back 30 seconds later. You could literally see the wipe marks on the plate where they had just removed bacon and given plate a quick wipe.
Cons: Service over dinner the night before wasnt great. Also very limited option for vegetarians ie. one option.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was nice. The hotel was clean. The bathroom was nice. The grounds were beautiful.
Cons: I expected there to be better food options. The only place to eat for dinner was this pub-like place which was not connected to the hotel. The atmosphere was not really welcoming. I would not call this a kid friendly place. The service at the bar was not great.
