The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The location is excellent.
Excellent clean well presented hotel, superb ammenities and really friendly Owner/Manager.
The rooms do have a very high standard (compered to price) and the staf is very friendly.
Friendly staff, quality accommodation and excellent location. The room was lovely and the owner was very helpful (even gave us a lift to a restaurant). Will certainly return to this hotel.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. Breakfast was absolutely great! No Double Bed. Only Twin Beds for 2!
very welcoming, very clean and relaxed, friendly atmosphere, central to village and lake
Excellent hotel. No food on Sunday evening but host will recommend places close at hand. Superb breakfast served in modern room. Would recommend and use again
The very high standard overall, cleanliness, welcome, location and generous breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend. Ground floor room overlooks shared patio/grounds - blinds or nets would ensure privacy.
I liked the ambiance, quietness and the wonderful swimming pool area. I received an update for a better room without asking for. The temperature in the sauna area was a little bit cold, not in the sauna itself.
Furnishings and decorations of my suite (holiday flat). Owner of the flat, very kind and well-mannered. Breakfast room is a sort of candy. Delicious cuisine. Silence and tranquillity. Pity this nice hotel has a so very small garden.
Easy to find,modern,staff very friendly.
no shower curtain
The quality of furnishings and fittings was very high. The set dinner was extremely good and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We would happily return. The hotel was an excelelnt overnight stop on our way to southern Germany
Wonderful owners/staff. We had missing luggage and staff was very helpful, even with language barrier, in helping us with phone numbers, etc. Large room/suite in guesthouse down the street. Excellent restaurant
Very helpful staff, excellent food and service, nice accessible location, quiet area. No difficulties with returning late from the Spa racetrack. Main language spoken in the hotel was german, staff coped very well with our limited german and most spoke very good english
This is a very nice, orderly organized and decent hotel. The staf was friendly and serving promptly. Room/bathroom was fine - all other facilities are wunderfull with a mix of old school wood and proper design. The silence at night is amazing. There is no shower in the bathroom and the bed could have been better - but no real complaints.
swimming pool & sauna. food.
Superb hospitality...Finest facilities...Delicious food...very clean...Just Excellent!!
Old hotel. Certainly not a 4 star. Needs refurbishment and organisation. The breakfast was very badly organised and we waited 30 mins for more food
breakfast brilliant need radio / tv in room
The surroundings. The hotel is situated in a nice landscape, peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful. Hotel is a bit dated on the decoration side however good value for money.
We were very well looked after, the staff were very attentive and worked hard on using English (& trying to understand my french) to make our stay more comfortable.
Very friendly staff, lovely thalgo centre with pool, hotel very clean, quiet and calm location.
The welcome and staff
The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The location was a bit out of the way for what we needed.
Pool and kids out door equipment. helpfull freindly staff. The hotel was advertised as a family hotel. I would yes for children over the age of 7. The restaurant needs to open earlier of young families, Ie around 1800hrs, the service was good but clearly understaffed and the wait between courses for children was far too long. While waiting for the restaurant to open I had to go looking for a bar person to get a drink in the end the receptionist had to come and serve me.
The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was very nice with close proximity to walking routes and outdoor facilities were great for children. The hotel needs substantial refurbishment to arrive at normal standards. It does not appear to be a 4 star hotel but in the 2 to 3 star range. My room for the first day was very old, outdated and it had a bad smell to it - do not accept to stay in a room on the first floor that has not been renovated. The staff kindly obliged my request to change rooms on the second day of my visit. The second room was acceptable. The facilities such as pool, sauna, steam bath (which was not working for a short period) are in need of imrovement to meet current standards. The hotel is under new ownership and is in the process of some cosmetic improvement.
Very long service time in the resto. We waited at least for more than 1 hour on the first dish.
Personnel were pleasant and very willing to help. The delux room had an amazing panoramic window; there are walks starting right outside the hotel although the senery was not too impressive. gastronomic dinner. Gosh! We paid 45 euros per person - quite pricy. The volume of food was enough to feed 3 people but unfortunately, we could not taste anything gastronomic about it. Food was fresh but unimpressive and did not justify the price. We ate much better the following day at the restaurant just outside the center, for half the price (called Bruls???). In addition, it took 3,5 hours - too long even if you are enjoying the food; Bathroom was dated and did not have heating, it had a portable electric heater.
- the owner was very friendly and even gave us a room of a higher category. - the breakfast was very good - the restaurant was not what it seemed to be from the outside. Much too expensive and at an inadequate quality
Friendly welcome, ambience, cleanliness, ease for car parking
friendly, accommodating staff on reception
Nice personnel, no nonsense room The hotel is somewhat outdated w.r.t. its facilities (like a 10€ per hour internet access). But everything is functional
A good breakfast and friendly service during the breakfast, Beautiful environment Our reception was less than friendly as was our check out. The room itself was average but ok. However the room we were allocated the Bathroom was tiny. There was a bath but being quite tall I could hardly fit and even though there was a shower attachment with the slanted rood only a child would be able to stand in the bath.
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, and we had a wonderfull stay. The lady of the house is extremely friendly and helpfull. She made our stay very comfortable. Whisky, her dog, is adorable!!! We certainly recommend this hotel!!!
Great location. Took our mountain bikes with us en drove around the lake with the kids. Afterwards we could lock the bikes in the hotel's garage for free. Really nice complete, fresh, all choices, all you can eat breakfast buffet. Very friendly reception, first in English, then in Dutch. The terrace / cafe only opens at 16u00. Around the whole lake we only past one terrace / cafe.
Friendly staff, perfect breakfast.
Just one night. In the morning a nice walking no nothing
We received a very warm welcome from the charming proprietors. The hotel is small, cosy and well appointed, but not grand. The location is very pretty, and convenient for exploring the Eifel, which was our purpose. The food, no choice, was very good. The restaurant was closed one night per week. Not a disaster, but a little odd in a residential hotel out in the country.
Pool and Spa excellent Location 1.5km to closest little town. Lake empty. Waiter very slow.
kindness and helfulness of staff no à la carte menu
We did not get the room we expected. The hotel has only got a few refurbished suite rooms as pictured on the website, but the classic rooms are very old and dull, old wallpaper, old pictures on the wall, very old bathroom, twin beds and no double beds.
very personal service, wonderful set meal, really delightful
The hotel staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful thoughout. The hotel has been renovated with very good design style while remaining sober.
The location. The atmosphere. One small thing, the room we had only had a bath tub, did not have a shower. I do not know if all rooms are like this, but for future reference when making reservation ask for a shower if you prefer to shower.
magnificent food, friendly owners, perfect wellness massage... to many flies in the hotel
Hotel owners very friendly. Food was great. Room very spacious and the bathroom was particularly nice. Always very clean. Don't try contacting the hotel by email as you will get no response. Otherwise the stay was great and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Not good not bad. Value for money. I would come back. Not friendly staff. Room old, but clean (which is most important)
Nice hotel, nothing special, and close to the circuit of Francorchamps! Our room was quite noisy, just above the kitchen and restaurant.
The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Very clean and the owners were very nice. A little difficult to find.
realy nice people, excellent breakfast
I have travelled many places, seen and lived quite a wide range of hotel accommodation worldwide and the experience I had to undergo at this place was without doubt the worst ever in my life to date. Albeit the hotel as such being pretty much ok (though a suite should have a king sized bed instead of two smaller units + one expects shampoo to be present in the bathroom) for a rather modest and rural place as Weywertz, the real and 'beyond common sense and belief' troublesome issue is the extremely (customer)unfriendly, almost dictatorial attitude of the hosts, a couple of ageing rural 'chiefs' (M/F) who's main goal in life seems to be to make their 'paying' guests to fully obey -at all times-their micro-style, narrow minded housekeeping rules 1. No shampoo, 2. Extreme customer unfriendly and utmost 'arrogant' behavior of the hosts (couple M/F), 3. Stifling 'army style' micro-‘housekeeeping’ rules, 4. When kindly requested no flex whatsoever when it comes to dining in the hotel's restaurant, 5. No flex whatsoever when one wants to be seated elsewhere in the resto during breakfast, 6. When requested no flex whatsoever in terms of beds (Suite with separate beds??), 7. No CCard/bancontact/debit card payment facilities (three star hotel and we are 2010 not - so?)
I liked very much the food. It was very nice and well-prepared. It was not cheap but still fair. I think the bed could have been better.
Quiet village. Nice nature environment. Room large enough. Good breakfast. Any similarity between the photo of the room in the webpage and the real rooms is purely coincidence. The real rooms are much simpler and modest.
Very good food Food a bit pricey
We stayed at the Lindenhof for three nights during the Belgian grand prix weekend. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and altogether pleasant. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. I would recommend this for visitors to the Spa Francorchamps circuit, as the journey is relatively straightforward.
Good place to stay for several days in an ideal envirnment to relax and to enjoy nature and a bit of biking and hiking. They servve a good meal and the restaurant oposite the hotel is execellent anbd close to a micheline star for an very accepatble price It would be welcomed of they had protection against mosquitos in the windows so we could let some fresh air in the room during the warm nights.
Welomemed very well as I could not speek French.Good food and service. Bed too small,no air conditioning very hot even with both window and doors open, lighting was like a heat lamp and not enough,
Very clean room. Excellent shower They were building large house next door. We asked hostess where we could eat. She said we'd have to go back to the town. We asked whta bout the village? She said- all closed Monday and Tuesday. As it happens the cafe in the village was opne and we had ameal there..
Pleasant personal service. Nothing.
location not far from circuit Francorchamps very small and not lively bar. More a hotel for elderly people
Breakfast and dinner Cant think of any.
we would have liked some tea/coffee making facilities in the room
Very good restaurant. Bar shut very early on occasions.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent parking facilities.
Room was comfortable; plenty of free parking space The staff were not friendly; especially the unsmiling receptionist
Food standard was very high
Great staff, chef - made dinners by request that were not on the menu... Very quiet, spookily so...
That it was close to the skiing tracks. That the room was freezing cold and had mold in the corners.
The relaxed atmosphere, newly refurbished rooms, breakfast. Hard to find in the dark, not well lit at night.
The breakfast is excelent! The cost/benefit.
Very friendly hotel manager, good breakfast.
We were made very welcome will use again!!!!!
it was close to the Spa Francorchamps racing circuit. Only took cash and the room, for which in the centre of Paris I'd pay only 50 Euro, was 275 Euro.
breakfast Poor condition of room, Cracked window, dusty floor, small beds, dated bathroom, poor access to shower door, recieption phone not always manned (not handy when you need directions). Kitchen was Filthy (I saw it) smoking ashtray on kitchen working surface, dirty zink, dirty floor.
The staff and the breakfast
The personal service
Very good restaurant, location anf free internet
The bar was a nice place to have a few drinks. It was nice that the hotel offered both a restaurant and a bistro. The room was neat and clean. The mattress was to soft and a bit lumpy. Also need to be a bit bigger for two persons. The staff for the bar and bistro were friendly, even during moments of stress.
Brasserie restaurant food quite good, Gourmet menu looked good but restaurant empty so we chose not to use it. No customer lounge facilities. Not sure why Booking.com only offered 3 bed room, on top floor in roof space and much less well appointed than the double/twin rooms. Breakfast ok but food and drink items not replaced when jugs and trays empty. Got the bill wrong and we had to remind them that Booking.com had not taken prior payment. Otherwise ok.
Friendly staff and late bar
The food is always well prepared and the staff are friendly and helpful. It has a good atmosphere and is popular with the locals
had spent just a few hours at the hotel so all I managed to do is sleep and have breakfast no internet connection.
Exellent location. Good rooms. Helpfull staff. I notified the hotel upon checking in that I would be leaving 1 day earlier than I had reserved the room for. Upon checking out, the staff told me that that they would charge me for the day I did not stay there, even though they rented the same room that night. They told me only booking.com could refund my cancelled night, I immediately sent an email to booking.com cancelling my last night. No rep
The friendliness of the staff. The Sunday evening buffet at a fixed price, all inclusive. Very good value. Slight delay when ordering evening meals.
Excellent hotel, peaceful and quiet. Friendly staff. Clean.
Owners very friendly providing excellent home cooked food 3 course set menu 18-22 euros. In a nice quiet location. but ideal for forest walks. nothing
the room was big and the balcony To indicate the enter when you arrive
The large room with a nice outlook and plenty ofstroage room and the nice staff
Very convenient and ideally placed for Spa Francorchamps Circuit. Large Clean rooms and a very good breakfast!
the view, large room, large bathroom, the rest, excellent breakfast bedsheets didn't smell fresh
The 2-person studio was spacious and comfortable; breakfast is good enough. It should be possible to get the studio without the breakfast included.
Kitchen good enough to prepare light meals, coffe, tea. Nice terras Not enough ventilation in bath room. Probably walls and ceiling will show this very soon.
hotel is situated in a nice environment and has large clean rooms. Excellent breakfast.
This is a very sweet place to stay. It was extremely clean, with a very modern, updated bathroom, and a homey, relaxed feel. The proprietors could not have been nicer and more accomodating. Because I had to leave before the scheduled breakfast time, Georges sent me off with a yummy croissant and probably would have sent more if I had had time to pack it up. This is a lovely area near the Hautes Fagnes with lots to do and see. I highly recommend this Auberge!
The hosts were very hospitable, and helped me each morning with my travel plans. The hotel had a homely family-run feel and is located on the edge of the Eifel region as well as the Ardennes and is convenient for both. The hotel serves as a great base for a relaxing break. The rooms although quite basic, were very clean and comfortable. A nice continental breakfast is also provided at an hour of your choice.
The family-run B&B itself was pleasant enough and looks newly done up, The breakfast was plentiful and of a good selection with cheese, ham, orange juice, bread rolls, cereal, tea & coffee, The owners were friendly, our room was very small, the bathroom corner unit was tiny and barely contained the shower cubicle and the toilet squashed in one room. The floor under the bed was quite dusty, Unfortunately the breakfast was made of the cheapest quality food. We thought overall it was a bit over-priced for what it was.
