Pros: The room was tidy, clean and very modern. The breakfast was amazing with a plenty of products (at a very good price only 9 euro!!). The personal was helpful and friendly. The gym on the top floor has all the modern gym-devices and a magic panoramic view! The design of the hotel is very modern and trendy. Great location close to central train station and old city
Cons: The room could be a little bigger, although was comfortable!

Pros: Really good vibe about it...Very friendly and great value for money....I love the quirkyness of the hotel and the decor was really funky
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like other than the breakfast was average
4.3 Okay
Cons: Τhe staff could have put just a bit more toilet paper so we dont run out of it in the last morning. Also my partner's card and mine were both charged for the stay. I hope it will be resolved asap. But it is very unprofessional to happen in the first place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, central location 5 min from Hbf by feet, very clean and new. Calm room if you leave the window closed. Very cool internal design, same as in the pictures.
Cons: Good breakfast but missing option for people with intolerances.

7.0 Good
Pros: This hotel is situated in the centre of a housing area, we arrived after a long drive and were slightly dissappointed by the dated( shag pile carpets ! ), although comfortable accommodation, it seemed almost deserted withno one else around, after a rest we went down for a meal in the restaurant. It was buzzing, fantastic atmosphere , full of locals, home made ravioli, fantastic food and drink. really lovely evening Breakfast was plentiful, will the best boiled eggs we have had in a long while
Cons: rooms a little dated

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice spacious room. Great breakfast. No VPN block on the WiFi.
Cons: WiFi a little unstable.

Pros: Breakfast was great...the location was a bit further from Ingelheim am Rhein than anticipated - needed a cab rather than walking to restaurants, etc.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely quaint hotel. It was well appointed and provided us with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly. The adjacent restaurant was also great and well worth a visit.
Cons: We had a family room which consisted of two rooms together. The blind in the smaller room was very light and we were woken quite early from the daylight. I don't think this would be an issue in the main guest room as it had a proper roller shutter on the window.

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom exceeded our expectations (great shower!) and the staff was particularly helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good- even offered cappuccinos!
Cons: We do like a hotpot in the room for coffee on days when we need an early start. Nothing negative about this wonderful hotel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful modern rooms decorated with taste, EXCELLENT restaurant and friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: excellent rooms, good location, friendly staff
Cons: breakfast poor, no salad, no fish
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was large, bed was very comfortable, location was ideal (taking a nice walk through the downtown is recommended). Good price/value, fast internet, newly updated facility, great view from Room 23. Had dinner with our (local) friends at the hotel restaurant - good food and excellent service. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and/or restaurant to others considering a stay in Nieder-Olm. Our friends, by the way, were having renovations done on their home and could not put us up - they recommended Das Crass (but had never stayed there themselves). Regarding payment: we paid cash (euro) when we checked out; did not pay through booking.com in advance of our trip. (It's not clear whether the bonus question should only be answered if payment has been made through booking.com.)
Cons: The only snafu was that the password for the internet, provided via a paper at check in, did not work. When I called to the front desk at about 11PM, they brought another paper with a refreshed password to the doorway of our room, saving me the trouble of dressing to go down to the front desk for resolution. This was a terrific gesture and was volunteered by the staff, not requested by me. No trouble with the refreshed password, and a very fast internet connection that was able to be used on multiple devices at once.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms, the breakfast is really good. This hotel looks like a brand new building inside and outside too. The public transport (buses and trains) are 2 minutes walk away. 100 meters away a really good italian restaurant for dinner.
Cons: If you wanna drink espresso cafe in the morning, you have to pay it separately. I didn't understand this... because anyway this is a really good hotel!

Pros: Big and spacious room, everything well cleaned, standard breakfast but good enough thanks to good coffee

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a bit in the middle of nowhere but the location itselves is nice. Rooms are nice in size and also comfortable, i only miss a small refrigerator to cool your drinks Also all sockets are in use near the desk so for your computer you have to make a choise either no light or either no television, that is simple to solve it think. Staff is very friendly and it feels like home. So well done and continue like this.
Cons: Routing to hotel can be better also the road and the lights. There are no dedicated places for hotel guests so it can happen you have to use other further away parking area because of visitors of the conference rooms, rotary club and restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to be. Relaxing and charming
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Design
Cons: A lot of things.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Almost nothing. This is the worst stay in a hotel I’ve had in 30 years travelling, worldwide. The non-management staff were pleasant.
Cons: Flies everywhere; unbearable heat; building site all around; noise from the beer garden until 11pm; electricians shouting on the building site at 6.20am on a Sat; mould and stains on the carpet; Wi-fi didn’t work; dried in blood on bedding; dry salty food; no hot water on the Sun; unbelievably rude, extremely aggressive owner/manager in dealing with the above issues; extremely overpriced for the low standards; location.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfy. The breakfast was great, big variety. I would definitely use this accommodation again.
Cons: The mattresses were too soft and there very many planes crossing above us (but that can not be influenced).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beds are extra comfy, and cleanliness.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, but paid extra. Reasonably comfortable bed and bathroom.
Cons: We had booked a "deluxe triple room" with 3 single beds and a kitchenette. The room provided had no kitchen or even a kettle and fridge, which we needed, especially since the weather broke heat records while we were there), and only a double bed which was fine. The price had been reduced from the original quote, but the room was still not suitable, and very hot. The desk clerk did relocate us to a companion property "Pension al Finthen" which had the required kitchenette ( though not well supplied with dishes) and was actually somewhat cooler, so it turned out okay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice and clean
Cons: Location not that good
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice and clean. Spacious with a kitchen. Our room was upstairs, a built out attic.
Cons: We choose because it appeared to be close to train station. Big mistake. The place is outside of town, unincorporated. There are hotels right by the train station in the center of town which are a better deal because you same on cab fare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite area outside the city. Cute house and comfy room. Clean and nice.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was adequate. A few things could be improved eg user friendly juice jugs instead of bottles with difficult to open tops. The coffee machine wasn't working very well when we were there. A staff member should really be in the area where the food is as many times there seemed to confusion about procedures. The staff were very helpful including changing our room from from an extremely small room to a larger one. We appreciated their help in this
Cons: The lift was very slow to reach our floor. We ended up using the stairs mostly. Personally I do not like a glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom. I prefer more privacy. Plumbing and ventilation is always a problem in old buildings and in this hotel, it was also to some extent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really close to the train station Clean rooms and really comfortable beds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all so professional, helpful and very friendly. Sianka on reception was so welcoming and gave me lots of useful info on the city and getting around. The location is perfect, right by the train station. My room was super clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! Such a stylish and service-oriented hotel with a great location! The corner room with the large bay window was very spacious and well appointed. Amenities like a coffee pod machine and sitting area were great for unwinding at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet was well worth the 15euro per person and the evening cocktail program is great! The staff was always there to answer a question, make a coffee or chat about our travels. Will definitely book again if I am back in Mainz!
Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a gem, about a minute’s walk from the Mainz Hauptbahnhof. I got a couple of nice perks as a Marriott Bonvoy member - free internet, and a free upgrade to a room with a small sitting area and a balcony. The room/ bathroom was very clean, and bed was exceptionally comfortable. We were there on a hot summer day, and the air conditioning was adjustable and worked beautifully (which isn’t always the case in European hotels, as I’ve learned from experience). We wanted to especially commend Yasmin at the front desk, for being so friendly and helpful with our questions about planning some day excursions. We also loved the ability to stream from Netflix from our phones/ iPads onto the tv in the room. Even though we were just across the street from the train station, the room was well insulated and we were never disturbed by street noise. Full marks to this hotel!
Cons: No complaints! A wonderful stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Simple, clean and cozy place to stay for 1-2 nights
Cons: A type of one of the rooms was not available upon arrival after an ordinary check in time, and we wound out that got lower level room when entered into.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is on the outskirts but very easy and inexpensive to travel to town by bus. There was free parking available at the hotel. We loved the restaurant as the food was delicious. Most of the staff didn’t speak English but they were extremely patient helping us order food and answering any questions in the best way they could. The waitress at the restaurant was especially helpful and made us feel very welcomed.
Cons: The pillows and duvets need upgrading.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Standard of food in the restaurant always reliably good (continuing from previous visits) and staff always eager to help with a very nice family atmosphere
Cons: Wifi was rather weak in places
10.0 Excellent
Pros: (Note: I'm from the USA, NOT Panama!) We liked the location. It was easy to get to by car, close to the Rhine River valley we were visiting, and had free parking. The property has been recently remodeled and is very nice, both inside and outside. It is in a quiet area. The (7 euro) breakfast was excellent . The manager went out of her way to assist us with our requests.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean modern room, great food in the restaurant and really friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our new favorite. The food is delicious, and our accommodations are very comfortable. We added breakfast to our plan and it was well worth it. Everything here is immaculate, and the staff Is always helpful and friendly. Also, they feature Franziskahner beer which is already my first choice. We came back for 9 days to find our old favorites. After staying here and trying 10 different menu selections in the restaurant, we found what we really missed. I was stationed at Finthen Army Airfield 45 years ago. Our daughter was born at Wiesbaden. We miss the raucous old men at Wackernheimer Hof. We miss the hearty food, boars head on the dining room wall, and the low light ambiance of Michael’s Gasthouse Those places have changed, but we found what we really missed at Zum Babbelnit. The nearby bus stop is handy for Mainz Hauptbahnhof and Wackernheim. The gated car parking plaza is secure and very attractive. If we’re able to return, we’ll stay here again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: very nice personnel, good location in Finthen, and excellent breakfast, good price to value
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Relatively good breakfast (according usual German practice) including hot food like omelette and sausage. Good location near bus stop. Reasonable cost.
Cons: Wi-fi is too slow. There is no mini bar or small refrigerator in the room. There is not electric kettle in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms, very quiet too. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was excellent. There is parking on site, but it is limited. We got a space both nights we were there, but I could imagine if the hotel was full, that might not be the case. The staff was very pleasant as well.
Cons: The pillows were not the best quality. Adequate, but not great. The breakfast selection was OK, but I would have appreciated more selection of breads. Also the breakfast room was not as cosy as the restaurant, which was really lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were warm and friendly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quite and family atmosphere at the hotel.Good ratio between price and qualify. Very polite and professional staff. Very good restaurant is located at the hotel!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, clean and comfortable room
Cons: location a bit far from train station
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I arrived to hours early but everything has already been prepared; the staff was super-friendly; the room was clean and modern. My room faced the street but thanks to the good windows, I hardly heard a sound and had a relaxing sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The whole thing is pretty automated. There is a lock box located outside the hotel. On the arrival day, you receive an email with the code to retrieve the key. Once inside, there is a small atrium with stairs. The rooms are simple but clean. There is Wifi that is fast enough for emails and light streaming, but certainly not gaming. When leaving, you simply leave your key in the room and the door locks behind you.
Cons: It was basically what I expected. I had no problems, the neighborhood is residential and seemed very safe. The room was sparse but clean. What else could you ask for?
4.5 Okay
Pros: No service personnel visible/available. It feels like the owners don’t care whether you arrived, or whether you need anything. Wifi connection cumbersome, have to renew after 30 minutes. No coffee offered or mineral water.
Cons: See above.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Efficient and responsive staff for a late arrival
7.0 Good
Pros: Nicely located in Mainz Gonsenheim, easy to take tram to downtown Mainz
Cons: Had room at front ground floor, quite loud with traffic (cars, garbage trucks, tram)
6.8 Good
Pros: the room size is suitable for a single person.
Cons: the sound isolation is not good. if the neighbour speaks loudly, you can do the same to chat with him/her.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pictures and the actual facilities are the same.
Cons: No advance code sending as informed. Far from city. Very poor WiFi signal and system.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great - quiet, yet in the heart of Gonsenheim, my favorite part of Mainz! I liked the key dispension system (automatic "safe" with a code), this way I could arrive late and not worry about getting the key. The room was comfortable and there was heating you can regulate yourelf, which I like as well. Good price to quality ratio.
Cons: The bathroom has no ventilation, hence you are left with a wet sauna after taking a shower. There was no shampoo available. No noise insulation from the corridor, you could hear every door being opened and closed and people walking and talking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The key was available from a drop box at the entrance. The hotel is in walking distance to the main shopping street. A nice wine bar is close by. A very good bakery for breakfast is also not far. There is free parking on the property.

Pros: Perfectly equipped and clean apartment. Good value for money and quality of accommodation. Good accessibility of Mainz.
Cons: Perfect equipment, just lacking a microwave and hair dryer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great kitchen and great bathroom.
Cons: Internet connection very weak
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Very modern and good accommodations.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, had a washer and the size was good. Location was within walking distance to a small grocery store and apotheke. There was parking. The building was quiet.
Cons: The internet and TV did not work upon arrival. The washer broke down down with our clothes in it amd would not open. The owner said repair person was to be out at 11am. Someone buzzed the intercom at 8am, not sure who. At 9:30am the intercom buzzed again and then someone opened the door to enter the apartment before we had a chance to answer, I said "hold on, I have to get dressed" and they left, never to return. I had to leave at 1pm and returned that night to our clothes still stuck in the washer. I managed to get the washer to open by unplugging it. Our clothes were sour by this time and since we left in the morning, there was no time to get our clothes washed before we left the country at the end of vacaction - I had to pack sour clothes. The dryer did not dry clothes very well and we tried every setting. The pullout sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and rock hard. The size of the bedroom would accomodate beds bigger than twins.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I cannot stress enough how accommodating the property manager was! The property was absolutely beautiful and wonderfully laid out. The property has a full laundry, well-stocked kitchen and parking on site. It came with towels, linens and cleaning supplies. The bathroom was gorgeous, and the radiant floor heating and cable TV were added bonuses! There are two grocery chains a block away (bear in mind, both are closed on Sunday, as is largely the case of businesses in Germany)
Cons: My only note would be that there was no oven mitt or towel, so we had to use a bath towel to remove items from the oven. This is so minor, not really a big deal at all, but it would be a great addition. Also, this isn't not a "dislike" per se, but bear in mind that this location is not easily accessible by public transit. A rental car is needed to access the location. There are also no restaurants in town, so be prepared to take full use of the property's kitchen.
7.0 Good
Pros: New furnitures, clean. Good access to the apartment
Cons: Only 2 toilet papers are available in our stay. The two room apartment has not a seperate rooms. The road is too close to the apartment. Small tv. Beds are too soft. Small toilets. No microvawe
7.0 Good
Pros: The apartment was very clean and the beds quite confortable.
Cons: I miss in the kitchen a toaster and a macrowave. We were said to leave the apartment at 9.30 (I find that extremely early). Like a favor from the owner we could leave at 10:00 (but at 9:50 they were there for cleaning). In Booking you could read check-out time till 12:00. They should change that and don't disscuss that this time is not correct and they had to clean the apartment for the next guest (that is not the problem of the customer) and the tone and ways from the owner to the customer wasn't really kind. That kind of things (customer service and behaviour) make the difference and the decision if one costumer wants to come back or not.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: The place is very clean and nice, but the only negativ thing was, that i had to go with my car and drive 6 km so i could pick up the keys of the apartement, instead of meeting the owners on the spot. Other than that everything was good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: House new and Clean. Mihail was very kind.
Cons: I didn't like that just after the reservation they send me an email (in German!!!). They said I had to pay €150 cash for "insurance" when I took the key of the flat that they turn back after the check out by bank transfer. I think it was uncorrect: you must say that before the reservation and in English. At the end Mihail gave me back the €150 so we solve the problem. Another thing was that when I took the key (in another apartment 5 km far away) a women who didn't speak English ask for the passport and I hadn't that with me (as citizen of an European country I can go to Germany with Identity Card). I was lucky because my collegue had the passport so she gave us the keys.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New, rly clean and well equiped
Cons: Whats not to like?

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding hotel! EVERYTHING was really excellent, the room, the bathroom, the beds, the espresso coffee maker in the room. The combination of accessibility and comfort. But most of all what took us by surprise was the staff, not just polite, but happy to help, all of them. On our last morning - a Saturday - the breakfast room was very busy and there was only one lady attending to everything. Perhaps another person would have been grumpy, stressed and bad mannered. This lady did everything on her own efficiently and she had the best smile for every one.
Cons: - Other guests did not respect the disabled only parking, and there was no control from the hotel over that. - The day before check out when our room was done, they forgot to add soap (shower gel) and toilet paper, so then we had to be careful with those!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Newly renovated modern clean rooms
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good comfortable stay
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and dedicated stuff! Nicely located very close to the tram to get to the inner city.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Early breakfast, location about 20 minutes by walk to the city centre.
Cons: Ugly smell in the bathroom
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel personal was really nice and forthcoming. Our room was very spatious and clean. The information provided through the brochures found in the room was more than I saw in many of the hotels we were at in the past year. Possibility of free parking (with limited spaces) but also the payed parking isn't expensive.
Cons: Breakfast is somewhat pokey but for a short stay it is allright.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to stay. Modern, clean, spacious room. Friendly helpful staff (bonus they spoke English). Hearty breakfast! 5 stars
Cons: Very warm (heat wave in Europe) however had a fan in the room. Weather not something the hotel can control.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Parking. 24h access. Heating on demand, room warms up in minutes. And VERY clean.
Cons: Very noisy, can hear housekeeping through the walls from 7:30am. No strategic power points. Need them both sides of the bed where everyone plugs in their phones.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: staff ok quite close to centre
Cons: price over 500 euros for 2 nights in a less than budget hotel rooms so small you couldnt swing a cat.walls so thin it sounded like everyone in the coridoor was in your room bar service poor noise fro buding site started at 7 shower tiny had to clear your tray up at breakfast just like at school dont mind doing it but not for over 500 euros car park small and very expensive uncomfy beds
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I would post the wifi password in each room.

7.5 Good
Pros: Thé bed
Cons: The room was too cold
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Short 4 night stay. Quiet (I had a top-floor room), clean, comfortable, interactions with staff was minimal but they were kind and friendly. Inside car parking was a unexpected plus. Would use it again if necessary.
Cons: For what I needed I have no complaints. If anything it would be nice to have as well for breakfast fresh milk and also during the week more choice of fresh bread (on weekends it was good though). Maybe a multi choice coffee machine might be something to add one day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Even if you plan to arrive late, you will get a recommendation where to have a dinner, since there is no restaurant in the pension. Quiet and easy to get location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very clean and good accommodation. Room was very spacious, big flat screen. Staff was very kind. Very good value for money. Quiet street and quiet accommodation. Breakfast was good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I was a good size apartment in a cute German village, quite but near Mainz. Clean, interesting looking with exposed wooden beams
Cons: The beds were very soft
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's close to FRA airport only 15 min drive. Our room meet our expectations as a family of 4 traveling. I liked it because it is nestled in a smaller part of Mainz area. There is an excellent Italian Restaurant only 10 min walk away.
Cons: If you have alot of large suitcases be aware. You do have stairs
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: Had an emergency and could not stay the entire time. Propriator would not consider even a partial refund. Out of 6 nights stayed only one. Ok. They were within their rights but when these things happen it's really a bad business practice to not try and provide some relief. It was also a heavily booked period and there was a scarcity of rooms available in and around Mainze. Will not return.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice and clean. Good staff. Helpful and nice breakfast.
Cons: The rooms are a bit small for 3 people. The parking was ridiculous I had to drive 2 blocks away to get a park at midnight.
7.5 Good
Pros: Cosy room
Cons: Poor wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, our room was spacious and clean. There is no AC, but we expected that so no problem.

Pros: Good location, easy access to train station, comfortable rooms.

Pros: Quite and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location is right above the Food....
Cons: Lock Box to Check in and Check out late at Night, Without the Staff having to wait for you :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room very close to the centre, in fact excellent location for the river and main square/Old Town and only ca 10 minutes walk away from the local train station (Römischer Theater). Kitchen with kettle, microwave and fridge, big bathroom.. everything just perfect.
Cons: Missed a big mirror in the room (to check the outfit before going out)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean and nice location.
Cons: The photos in the description are incorrect. I had a studio apartment only with kitchen just near the bed. Also it is a bit noisy street in the night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very clean and tidy and looks recently renovated. It is on a main thoroughfare but still manages to be quiet enough. Is very central to the center of Mainz and right next to Heiligeist restaurant. Includes a kitchenette with basic cooking implements.
Cons: Maybe block out curtains could be installed.
6.8 Good
Cons: It’s not really a hotel. It’s a “boarding house” above a busy restaurant. There’s no front desk or real in-house service. Weird set-up, feels kind of fly-by-night. Needs to be made a LOT more clear on booking.com description. Also the fluorescents overhead lighting in the rooms is horrible, but that’s a minor gripe. Otherwise the place was clean and comfortable enough.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good place to stay for the family: little town, original house, cosy, clean, comfortable rooms with very beautiful design, comunicative and helpfull owner
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were warmly welcomed - the owner. She always came to the counter with a beautiful broad smile. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a feast... fresh fruit and eggs boiled to your request. The hotel is also very central, you can park in front of it and wlak around th e corner into town.
Cons: Unluckily the owner is a smoker. You smell smoke a bit in the passage and a little bit on the sheets (although you also smell that they are clean). It was not enough to say I would not go back again. Some parts of the building could do with a little facelift.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room, nice decorations and good breakfast. Perfect location.
Cons: Not so good cleaning under the bed...
5.8 Okay
Cons: The bed and matelas seemed to be quite old and far too soft so that I had back pain in the morning...
