The staff were very polite and accommodating. We were able to store our bags on arrival whilst we explored the city. Similarly, when we checked out. Pros: Though it's not city center it's a great location on a peninsula across the river. Gives an opportunity to explore that area and cross the beautiful Erasmus Bridge. Clean, atypical, cosmo design hotel. Executive rooms were huge. Can't say enough about having the Food Hallen attached to the hotel. Dutch, English and more languages well spoken. Very welcome feel. Would stay again.
Cons: Pricey parking but seems to be standard at European hotels.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: For us the ideal place to stay - great appartment - superb restaurant - very well looked after - tranquillity .........
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The apartment is located on the top floor of a restaurant and the owners manage both. Our welcome was extremely friendly, we were shown the apartment and everything was explained. We got fresh supplies every day for our breakfast which we made ouselves in the apartment. It was all fresh and tasty. It consisted of bread of variuos sorts, ham and cheese slices, eggs to boil, marmalade, spread cheese, juice, milk, fruits. There was a capsule coffee machine and there were tea bags. There was an egg boiler. There is no kitchen so it is only possible to boil the eggs. The apartment is really comfortable and spacious with half of it as a living room and the rest as a bedroom. The air conditioner was very quiet and did not disturb at all. It is necessary as on sunny days it might get too warm on the upper floor in summer. The furnishings are all of top quality, new and tasty. The overall impression is that of a luxuriously decorated apartment which it actually is. The dominating colour is white which makes the whole place airy and light. We enjoyed the four days we spent there a lot. The only downside for some people might be the noise from the restaurant in the evenings as the restaurant ceiling is not soundproof at all. However, the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. every night except on Friday and Saturday when it is open until midnight. On Monday it is closed. We arrived on Saturday and it was the only night we could not fall asleep before midnight when the last guests left. On other nights it was peaceful. It is also worth to visit the restaurant. The food is excellent! As regards the surroundings, we made day trips to Rotterdam and the Hague which are both near. It is advisable to come by car, though, because the place is small, a village. I do not know about public transport but I cannot imagine that it is very frequent. I definitely recommend this apartment. You will not want to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners and fantastic meal for a very reasonable price
Cons: Niels
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A lovely modern and very spacious apartment. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious and the ambiance perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apartment tucked away in a small village, good living space and a fridge and kettle. Comfortable sofa, and bed and a good shower. Conveniently located above a restaurant. Breakfast was self-service in the apartment with the bread, cheese and ham, milk and fruit juice already provided in the fridge on arrival.
Cons: No double bed, only twin beds. The downside of being above a restaurant is that it gets quite noisy until the restaurant closes, so no early nights.
Overview Reviews
Many of Mainport’s sleek rooms offer facilities usually reserved for hotel spas, such as oversized hot tubs or private Finnish saunas. Regardless of which room guests choose, the informal eighth-floor Spa Heaven will be waiting, complete with its sultry Turkish steam room and rejuvenating hammam complex. Wide glass windows wrap around the waterfront building, allowing guests to see and feel the vibrancy of the inner harbor. Designer Feran Thomassen created the five-star interiors that make subtle nods to far-flung places, without forgetting that Rotterdam is the hotel’s ‘main’ port. In the quayside Down Under restaurant, for example, chefs offer a culinary world tour with a menu that includes everything from Argentinian steaks to Japanese sashimi. Add butler service, 600 square meters of flexible meeting space and a gold sustainability certification from Green Key, and you have a hotel worthy of its location in Europe’s largest port.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Superb spacious rooms and views, nice location, in front of water port.
Cons: Despite the late check out, we got woken up several times by the cleaning lady...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the Mainport Design Hotel in Rotterdam is a thoughtful, and comfortable design experience. From it's location overlooking the historic harbor and adjacent to the Erasmus Bridge to position next to the Tram transit stop...is a well connected position in Rotterdam. My room was very comfortable and a high-design style. Service was excellent throughout, not stuffy or pretentious, but well mannered and accessible. Some 5-star hotels trying too hard to be exceptional, making the visitor feel like it's a privilege just being a guest. But I felt that the hotel and staff really are proud of their facility and are eager to share the good vibe with their clients.
Cons: Only getting to stay two nights.
5.0 Okay
Pros: breakfast
Cons: 1. Unprofessional reception staff for my first day check in 2. Untrained bad mannered staff in the pool area at 8th floor 2. Dark, wet and looked dirty, air sealed and suffocated, bad managed small pool area. (to Mainpoint Management: contact me for details if you care about my comment, tks!)

Pros: Great little boutique hotel, 15 mins walk to beautiful old Delft. Helpful staff, great breakfast, and beautiful room and lounge area design. Great value for the price.
Cons: No AirCon available. It rarely gets too hot in this area, but we were the lucky ones to be travelling through Delft in the wake of a major heatwave this summer. So if you are booking for mid-summer you may want to inquire if they had a chance to install ACs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is really beautiful and clean in an amazing quiet street close to the porcelain museum and short walk to the city centre or train station. The garden is lovely, the breakfast really good, and the staff really nice. I loved the Coelho book too.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was really comfortable and the bathroom was great. The hotel in general is really well maintained and clean. This was my second time at this place. The location is very convenient if you have early meetings at the university. I really liked the waffles on the bed.
Cons: It would have been nice to have A/C in the room.

Pros: The room was quiet -- some street noise but no sounds from other guests could be heard. Secure wi-fi with password for each guest (not a general password for all guests).
Cons: The room was very dark everywhere except right next to the bed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very polite and professional stuff Great location Breakfast and fruits in the lobby
Cons: In my room (15) 1. Fan was very dirty even i didnt feel that gave the air. Only noise. 2. Water in the shower didnt go good. I stood in the "stand" water. Not so pleasant
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast and central but quiet location
Cons: (1) Noise from female lavatory next to the room - particularly one night after all the staff had gone when the flush mechanism failed and there was a running water noise all night (2) Having a ground floor room next to an alley way with people passing in front of the window at all hoirs
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the oldworld feel and great attentive staff
Cons: no air conditioning, the room was a little warm but not uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inviting nature of the hotel was truly excellent........ greeting and help from staff, variety and quality of breakfasts, and general ambiance of the lounge....... So close to railroad station and main plaza, yet a quiet street........
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Leeuwenbrug was the nicest, most comfortable and well thought out hotel in Europe that I've been in over ~50 years of travel. This includes those that have cost several times more (because they were charged to business accounts.) The tourist part of Delft, Oude Delft, is a physically small area. Because of the hotel location, we were able to walk everywhere conveniently. The hotel had been converted from an individual home and appeared to be newly renovated and very well maintained. The room was more comfortable and had more amenities than usual: electric beds with adjustable headboards that would go up and down, easily enabling reading while sitting up in bed; good lighting in every area of the room/bathroom; 19… yes, 19, not a typo… electrical outlets to plug in electronics; an electric kettle with in-room coffee/tea; an abundance of closet space with hangers; a desk with two comfortable chairs that were on wheels… I could go on, but won't. Breakfast, included in the cost of the room, went way beyond a "typical Dutch" one, with different kinds of meat, fish, cheese, eggs, breads and cereals, fresh fruit, juice, little boxes of chocolate sprinkles, warm crèpes with different toppings, good/real coffee and more. Staff, with one exception, were friendly and helpful. Strong suggestion: In retrospect, if I were to go in Amsterdam again… which we did, staying in a rented airbnb apartment for five days… I would instead stay at this hotel and make the fast and easy commute into the city. While the Amsterdam tram system is excellent, the commute time from our apartment (that bordered on Vondel Park) to most places in the city was just slightly less than the ride to Delft and back. The tranquility of Delft vs. the chaos of Amsterdam would be well worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, near the town centre and also to the train station. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The continental breakfast was very good and loved the pot of coffee every morning. Location was great and we were able to walk to the station to easily get transport to Den Haag, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and ofcourse Schiphol.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, lovely room. Location by the side of the canal and 5 minutes walk to the main square. Lovely fresh breakfast. A good hotel for a stay in Delft.
Cons: No plug for the sinks. Water wastage is not eco friendly. Car park although close is expensive - no concession given to hotel. Also got charged for 24 hrs parking when 10hrs were free?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. A very short walk from the train station and a gentle stroll to the market square. We had room 9, which is quite a nice room with a lovely view of the canal.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic, just next to Vemeer museum, with everything at a walkable distance. What I like most is the terrace all around the hostel where you can meet people and enjoy yourself. Guests here are mostly students and researchers so they are always good to talk with.
Cons: The mix room was not very comfortable for a young girl to stay alone, but people are nice and friendly. Hope that there had been female rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super central and great view from the room ( upper floor)
Cons: Parking is far away but that comes with staying in the very city center
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the location of the hostel is really good.
Cons: i guess some insolation was missing. I slept near to the Window and it was freezing cold.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The only good thing about this hostel is it’s location.
Cons: There is a guest who argues with people, steals other guests food and snores loudly, and the staff do nothing if you complain. The bathroom floor fills with water when the shower is used.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing
Cons: Maybe some breakfast included
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities right in the centre of the old town.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Cozy, welcoming, home-like. Our kids ages 9-18 loved it amd that says a lot. They just wanted to stay in for our regular danish hygge.
Cons: No list here. Not recommended to elderly or those who have difficulties with stairs.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hostel location is nearby train-station, supermarket, shopping area, churches are very close too. The view outside"next to churches square" was really stunning. Hostel was very clean, and everything I needed was available there. Guests were respectful, conservative, and friendly. Receptionist is good looking & sexy.
Cons: The way that the receptionist talks to the guests to leave the reception at the off-time was very unfriendly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tradition, Interior, Location
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful historical building close to the sea front. Very interesting history and room design.
Cons: There are a lot of renovations going on that left the entrance and passage ways to our rooms very untidy and unattractive. We were not aware of this at the time we reserved the room. I do trust that when the renovations are completed that the hotel will proved the ambiance that it creates on the booking platforms.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place and great location with an outstanding view. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfy. The beds are definitely above and beyond what you would expected! :) The pillows and bed sheets are absolutely amazing. :)
Cons: I was quite surprised that the hotel doesn't have it's own parking lot and you're supposed to pay for the parking quite an amount of money (imho). When you compare it to the the hotel facilities in general it should offer something more than this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hisorical building
Cons: -/-
7.5 Good
Pros: Design and food
Cons: 1km away from metro, and very windy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location and the feeling that you were on vacation, while being in the city center. Impressive building and very nice common areas.

Pros: I liked it's character: the fact that it had character yet met every need at the same time!
Cons: Nope.

Pros: Modern room spacious clean and the staff were helpful
Cons: Minor options the room had no ac only climate control and few english channels in tv other that that nothing to complain
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location-good Food- breakfast good (buffet)
Cons: For a five star you expect a little more attention to detail, for example you get 1 complementary bottle of water, when there was two guest are you supposed to share a small bottle of water
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location in city Centre just couple of minutes from Rotterdam central train station, all shopping and restaurants are nearby.spacious rooms.
Cons: Hotel is occupying only the lower 12 floors of its high building.Unfortunately superior rooms are located in the lowest five floors with limited view( not mentioned in booking.com). 2emails were sent to hotel before check in requesting highest floors but no response. House keeping did clean used glasses and did not provide shower gel on there daily cleaning. Ran out of smoked salmon 30 minutes before closing breakfast .
5.0 Okay
Cons: Paid amount more than agreed In the Bocking site
5.8 Okay
Pros: For this price it is a very basic hotel.
Cons: Parking facilities are confusing, staff was not very helpful. No Valet. Room is very basic for an executive floor. Breakfast timing too strict and before closing most items were not replenished any more. We expected much more from Marriott.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location, at walking distance from central station
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotelroom was clean, staff was friendly and the food was great. We didn't had dinner in the Michelin star restaurant but we did have breakfast there. The breakfast was excellent, we wouldn't expect something else from this 5 star hotel. Also the room service was great.
Cons: We booked the room with the city view. When we arrived we got the room on the 7th floor. We did have some city view, we could see the euromast and the port of Rotterdam, but we expected to get a room on a higher floor for a better view. We didn't find the view worth the extra amount of money we payed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room was lovely, chose a room with view and it was a very nice view of the city. Coffee was good in the bar. Staff were great in looking after our luggage for us.

Pros: Friendly staff, quiet and clean room, excellent breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic, especially because we were traveling by train. The hotel is very close to the train station and also close to all of the shopping and restaurants in Delft. The room was clean and was a good sized room.
Cons: The furniture and decor in the room was somewhat dated. The air conditioning unit didn't vent to the outside, and so I think it actually made the room hotter.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It's in a good location, near to the railway station, in the old part of town and not too far from TU Delft. It's fairly basic, but has everything you need.

Pros: Beautiful very crisp and clean
Cons: Check in takes a long time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect as you can cross the Erasmus bridge by walking and you are in the city center. The tram station is also nearby if you are too lazy to walk :). The hotel looks as in the pictures, big rooms, modern design, comfortable bed, amazing view. The breakfast is very tasty and you can admire the city view, the bridge and the river. Very friendly staff who makes you feel welcomed. Check-in and check-out goes fast. Parking is underneath the hotel. My dog was very welcomed too :). Everything was perfect and we will definitely go back.
Cons: :) we were to pleased to notice something that we might not like
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place, especially travelling by car with parking right beside and direct access to hotel. Location a little away from center. Breakfast - as in all nhow - fantastic. Nhow are stylish, cleancut, modern hotel; if you like that, this one‘s your place to stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was amazing! And the rooftop bar is stunning, too. The bed was super comfortable. Shampoo and soap were really high quality. The breakfast was simply top: lots of products, both sweet and savory, cook preparing fried eggs on the spot, a variety of juices...
Cons: The breakfast was great, but too expensive. You can have lunch for the same price (25 € pp)... The payment process is a bit confusing. Some money is blocked on your credit card before arriving, then some other money is paid during your stay plus the city tax (with another separate payment). Moreover, blocking money for "assurance" limits your spending capacity during your stay in Rotterdam...
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish hotel. Futuristic. TV in the mirror. Nice!! Excellent breakfast. They even make omelets. This is rare in Europe. Super great staff. Friendly, very helpful.
Cons: Parking expensive. Even though the hotel does give a discount.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with lots of space and a nice view. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The bathroom drains were not good. The shower flooded the whole bathroom floor, and the sink would not drain either. After a few seconds of running water, the sink would be full and I would have to wait a minute or two before I could run the water again.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location. Secure parking. Quirky hotel.
Cons: Safety issue - one corridor was closed for refurbishment work, with a small easily missable sign advising not to enter, though the area was not secure. It also formed the nearest fire escape from our room, and the instructions hadn't been changed to ensure safe evacuation. Safety issue - the layout of the breakfast room meant that the narrowest path lay next to the hot drinks machine. Our shower didn't drain away, so eventually the bathroom was flooded. I called reception who sent maintenance, but this took time so we had to go in our dressing gowns to another bedroom on the floor to use the shower. This whole thing delayed us by an hour, and then the safe wouldn't open! Also the TV remote control didn't work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and we got a free upgrade to a beautiful room with a nice view of the Erasmus bridge. The staff at reception was very helpful
Cons: nothing everything was great
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good choice at breakfast with many healthy options.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Clean room
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and the view.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Amenities, Nespresso machine were good!
Cons: TV was very strange. And function of 'Smart TV'(?) didn't work. They didn't give a full detail of method for 'Smart TV' operation. Even remote control didn't work well.
