Pros: Beautiful garden and very welcoming host
Pros: The owners were very kind and welcoming. We had a tour of the premise, they made us a huge breakfast and were still afraid we would lack anything. There was a huge garden with all kinds of little roads, art and things to discover. It was amazing.
Cons: Though the bathroom was more than adequate, it was quite a bit of a walk if you needed it in the middle of the night.
Pros: Everything was perfect! Hospitality and services were satisfying. We enjoyed the calm of the country side and the comfort of the beds.
Pros: We rented three apartments for three nights in the Bed and Breakfast ,de Witte Wolk´ of the owners Nirad and Theo. The environment of this village consists of fields, canals, sculptures, lovely neighbourhood voyeuristic stands. It isn’t much to drive to get to the sea or to cities such as Winschoten, Bad Neuschanz, Bourtange, Vlagtwedde, Stadskanaal, Groningen, Haren, Termunter dijl..we cannot recommend Delf zijl. There is an exceptional garden around the house (where many clay sculptures, made by Nirad, are displayed). We often went through it or ate dinner at the garden table. One evening they prepared a campfire and we had a lovely and cheerful conversation while we played with the cat and petted her. They also have a dog with whom we walked a lot (her name is Kira). The apartments were so sweet, they have been furnished and decorated with much of their love. The beds were very comfy (Careful! At some point of the day you need to get up!) There are sinks in each room. Also, you can make tea or coffee as in every room there is a kettle and some different sorts of tea. And there are books, magazines, games. If you need any recommendations – they prepared them kindly – you can find them in your room. There’s a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet and a second small room with a sink and a toilet. The shower has a good water pressure and can switch from very cold to very hot, depending on what you prefer. The corridor was so uncommon and so lovely and colourful. These rooms are all on the first floor. You get used to the steep staircase very quickly. Downstairs on the ground floor are the living area of Nirad and Theo, Nirad’s atelier where she works with clay and where she does courses (which we could see thankfully) and a seating area where we ate our breakfast each morning. It was delicious and they made an effort to please our requests. We always left the table fulfilled. The whole house was clean, comfortable, well thought through, calm, naturally lighted,
Pros: Breakfast vast and delicious! The gardens at de Blauwe Juffer are neat, table & chairs to relax in. A walk to the water is a quiet retreat as there are no skunks or cows.
Cons: Use a GPS to get there, then put it away and roam around the countryside. The immaculate
Pros: The owners go to great lengths to make certain that everything is prepared for you. They went out of their way to help us even before we arrived.
Cons: There were no downsides
Pros: B&B Meerland is a cozy and charming place. The Owner is very nice man. The cottage is nice, comfortable and clean. The place is conducive to good well-being. The area is beautiful. Great breakfast. We will return there for sure.
Pros: Nice location in a country side very close to a small lake, wonderful country atmosphere. The apartment was a dépendance of the landowners property. Landowners are very kind, they brought us a good breakfast every morning, at our convenience.
Pros: Such a restful location, slept like a log! Good wifi. Very generous breakfast. A couple of very cuddly cats outside too.
Cons: Our (admittedly very outdated) GPS had trouble finding the place, but we used Google Maps as a backup and it found the place no problem.

Pros: The building is an old converted barn, the wooden structure clear to see on the inside. I found this very relaxing - it feels warm and personal. The facilities are perfect: saunas, steam room, Roman style bathing pool, plunge pool outside. And there is also a bar and restaurant co-habiting the space. We entered at 15:00 and left at 22:00. Food, smoothies, teas and coffees where all delicious. We stayed in the hotel/B&B in the barn- the room was spacious, clean and elegantly styled- the bed v.large and comfortable! All in it was a well needed break from the city and it provided the perfect setting for me to unwind!
Cons: This is a very personal negative- being English the lack of bathing suits takes some adjustment ...
Pros: Beautiful day spa. My personal favorite was the pool. Lovely homemade breakfast. Dog friendly.
Pros: The lady owner was very friendly and her staff.
Cons: All was good
Cons: it would have been nice if all rooms had a mirror and a sink.
Pros: The wellness area is very relaxing and comfortable. There are saunas and steam room, plunge pool and swimming pool. And In the middle is a well priced great little restaurant area
Cons: The buildings are very rustic and original. This is not a finely polished brand new facility but it is overflowing with charm and culture.
Pros: Got a special early breakfast Swimmimg pool is great
Cons: The hotel is not fot business trips Breakfast starts at 9h00 No toilet in the room
Pros: The sauna and pool were very nice. Lot of different options for the amount of space.
Cons: The rooms are next to the sauna and pool facilities which means you can here the pool and machines running during the night time. The rooms aren't realy noise proof.

Pros: Was a perfect stay and staff all very welcoming and the food in the restaurant was very very good and reasonable priced. Will be back.
Cons: Nothing all was very good and had a very good stay there,
Pros: The room was relatively small, but it was comfortable. The air conditioning was very welcome in the heatwave that was ongoing. We could park our bicycles in a locked garage at night. It was a short walk to the coast in the evening.
Cons: The accommodation is expensive for what you get. Breakfast is expensive and for dinner you must order 3 courses. As a result we ate elsewhere. The room, at ground level, looked out directly on to a car park. We were stopping for one night on a cycle tour. It was OK for that purpose, but , value for money, it was near the bottom of out 8 overnights on this trip.
Cons: It was cold in the room, heating was mot working
Pros: Nice clean room Amazing staff Food was good
Pros: The staff was so inviting and willing to help us with anything we needed.
Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Shower not working!! Housekeeping entering room at 0830 not knowing that we were there. Staff seemed stressed.
Pros: Nice located family style run hotel!
Pros: Very nice breakfast, cool location not far from beach
Cons: Mix of industrial area and nature reserve - but coast at the North of Groningen is like that.
Pros: location and modernity

Pros: I like the building in and out side. Also the breakfast is great!
Cons: The private room is small with a too soft matras bed and bunkbed as well
Pros: The check in times are very flexible, even though the town is very relaxed the reception is open late which is great for travellers. Breakfast was a big surprise for the stay- fresh and a large variety to choose from.
Cons: The shared areas inside are kind of old and not very welcoming, but I may have not been during the high season...
Pros: Confortable beds and nice property with very big common areas.
Cons: No vegetables (cucumber or tomato) at breakfast.
Pros: Quiet. Nice breakfast area. Good looking building
Cons: Our room might have been build in a former car garage. It was dark and humid, old and odd. A tv was maybe 30 years old and the other not working. The place felt like a youth hostel that had its peak in the 80's rather than a family hotel

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was ok. The staff was nice. There was no noise at night.
Cons: The towels should be renovated and bigger. The lack of cleanliness ( There were even bugs in the bathroom), the fridge contained old food from oder guests. The soap and shampoo containers were empty. And in general the hotel needs a renovation. Considering the location and the price we were expecting something better.
Pros: Good tv package including english channels, Bed was comfortable, Shower was large
Cons: The advertised pool is not actually on site and is a good 10-15 min walk away. Can't comment on the facilities as it was closed. :(

Cons: nothing to not like !
Pros: Fantastic location. Professional staff. Clean rooms. Superb breakfast.
Cons: Believe it or not, there is no fridge in the room !!! It's quity unbeliavable for 160 EUR/night. That's why, I must say the value for money is poor.
Pros: Staff super friendly and helpful.
Pros: the stuff was helpful, room was comfortable. Nice bar and building.
Cons: the toilet and shower was not proper. It was clean but really not in good shape.

Pros: We received an upgrade to a better apartment in a quiet part of the farmbuilding, far remover from a noisy party.
Cons: WiFi was very poor, and owner forgot to tell us that breakfast starts in weekends at 9.00 while we had to leave early.
Pros: Nice playground for the kids, comfortable stay
Pros: We loved the owners who were friendly and helpful. Lovely building in a beautiful setting. Great value for money. Highly recommended!
Pros: It was all in all a tremendous experience. Though it is far from the city, the locale is peaceful and romantic, and the staff as friendly as can be. The breakfast in the morning is charming and filling until lunch, and the room comfortable in most circumstances.
Cons: At the time we visited, the weather was unseasonably hot, and like many places in the Netherlands, the room was not air-conditioned. We had only a small desk fan to cool a two bed room, which was insufficient for our cooling demands.
Pros: The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The croissants were fantastic. And the hosts were very friendly.
Pros: Excellent service for the money you pay, especially the continental breakfast was excellent!
