Pros: The location is very good in that it is in the 'woods' and quiet and the buildings are interesting from the exterior and and the landscape is open and nicely maintained.
Cons: No staff were available when we arrived. Owner had left keys for us with the only other couple staying that night. We had expected to be placed in one of the buildings with relatively ease of access based on the description when we had booked months earlier. However, instead we were placed in a log hut with very steep narrow wooden stairs to the beds on the second floor. The ground floor had a small 'kitchen' area with a hallway to the toilet/shower. We are an older couple and found the access up and down the stairs difficult and the lack of a seating area downstairs awkward. We were disappointed overall after expecting so much based on the description and reviews. It is possible we misunderstood the 'booking' but we could not discuss or make an alternative arrangement with the owner since he was not available and no one was around in the morning to discuss the matter before we left..
Pros: Lovely and couzy place. Homemade beakfast (8 eur for adults and 4 eur for kids) The only one minus that a lot of mosquitos in the evening.
Pros: New and cozy apartment in a wooden house, located in the forest, but not far away from the main road. Large dining rooom on the ground floor allows to have your delicious breakfast in comfort. Owner and his wife were very kind and helpful. She even gave me a lift to the ATM in the village since it occured I was out of cash. Thanks again. I trully recommend this place.
Pros: Big room, very nice modern bathroom. Rooftop windows that open and let the breeze in! Love these windows.
Cons: Had a little trouble finding the office from the main driveway. It was not noticeably marked “office”. But the owner/manager did come outside and introduce himself to us.
Pros: Incredible location Really nice, helpful and welcoming guests Great breakfast Authentic and tasteful Estonian dinner Unforgettable sauna experience
Pros: Great location. Very helpful and calm owners. I've made a big mistake with fireplace (smoke overall) and the reaction of the owner was priceless. Perfect place for chill out. Would stay longer for sure.
Pros: Friendly hosts, nice breakfast, cute and furry forest friend
Cons: No idea
Pros: Basically everything, owner very nice food very nice setting marvelous. In one word , PERFECT
Pros: the host was very friendly and helpful, quality of breakfast was good
Set in a pine forest by the sea, Kuuli Puhkemajad is located in Tagaranna on the island of Saaremaa. The property offers free parking. The heated bungalows are made entirely of wood. Some feature a terrace. Extras include bed linen and towels. At Kuuli Puhkemajad you will find a 24-hour front desk and barbecue facilities. There is also a trampoline. Guest can go hiking in the surrounding forest or swim in the sea.
Pros: Me and my boyfriend stayed here 2 nights. The location was absolutely beautiful. We loved the small houses in the forest and the sea was very near as well. There weren't many people living in this area, so it felt like we are in the middle of nowhere, which was exactly what we needed - a getaway from the big city chaos. All the facilities also were there - kitchen, shower, WC. The host was very welcoming and helpful as well.
Pros: Chilly place in the forest near sea, really great location and comfortable beds. Parking in front of the house.
Cons: You can run out of hot water in the kitchen really quickly, washing dishes in cold water was so annoying.
Pros: Awesome place in the middle of forest, nice shower and perfect kitchen in the nature.
Pros: Ideal place for camping even if you don't bring much with you. You can get towels, warm bed, access to kitchen here. Interesting location aswell – a forest camp on a rocky coast with trenches echoing island's military past. I love it! Taking a shower standing on a stone made me feel very good.
Cons: I have no complaints.
Pros: °good place, near the sea °in kitchen are all stuffs for food making and keeping °cozy house °playing area °relaxation zone
Kihelkonna Pastorate Guesthouse is located in a quiet area by the Vilsandi National Park in Kihelkonna. The property is next to the historical St. Michael's Church. At Kihelkonna Pastorate Guesthouse you will find a garden and a shared kitchen, as well as a shared lounge. Free parking is available. Extras include bed linen and towels.
Pros: Close to the national park. Small (only about 4 or 5 rooms I think) so easy use of shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Small Coop supermarket right across the road. staff were lovely.
Cons: Beds weren’t very comfortable. You could hear people in the next room very clearly.
Pros: Nature and peoples. If you need a break far from the city it is a good place. Very clean. Very helpful friendly young girl helping her mother to translate few of my sentences from English to Estonian and show me better place then I planed before. Thanks.
Cons: Regarding the transport, Just Note with Google Map that the places after the village are not easy to access if you don't booked a car before! Positive point: Their is a local bus to access to the guest house one minute walk. Note that There is not a breakfast.
Pros: Authentic stay, shop close by, very clean and cosy. Trips to the nationalpark possible and reccomandable! Kitchen well equipped!
Pros: Clean, friendly, great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Safe for bikes.
Cons: Bedside lamps always a treat.
Pros: Very nice location, near to the main tracks / road and food store but detached enough to grant extreme tranquillity. Near the main church and the other little tower bell (scenographic). Very clean. Comfortable rooms, big common room and a extreme well equipped kitchen. The keeper is very kind.
Pros: Silent place in small village. Rooms are basic but there is everything you need. There is a big garden and the building is next to the church. The host was very kind. We can absolutely recommend the place.
Situated in the heart of Vilsandi National Park, Loona Manor Vilsandi National Park dates back to the 17th century. Guests can relax in spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. Manor House Loona, although secluded, provides guests with all the necessities, including a restaurant and packed lunches for those who want to go exploring. After a day spent in nature guests can refresh their bodies in the Manor’s sauna and unwind in the library. The Loona can arrange guided tours around the Vilsandi National Park. There is also a fossil museum on site with free access for guests. The property offers bicycle rentals. The nearest bus stop is 400 metres away.
Pros: Wonderful landscape, very friendly staff, very quiet, and a wonderful park. Sitting outside at the evenings on the terrace of the old but nicely refurbished Manor building gives a real rest.
Cons: Hard to say, anything was fine.
Pros: The manor is well located near the Vilsandi park information center and Lümanda, surrounded by lovely forests. The staff and the reception were warm and welcoming and the building itself very nice. We appreciated the silence and views from the windows. The whole property is beautiful. I would recommend it to everybody looking for a good location and a quiet place to stay when visiting places to see in the western part of Saaremaa.
Cons: The house would deserve more stylish and quality interior design - the space in the rooms was ill-used and the pieces of furniture looked randomly placed. And please cover the mattresses in beds! We were asked what time we wanted the breakfast and yet there was not enough light bread by the time we came as agreed.
Pros: Staff Location
Pros: Nice guesthouse with simple but comfortable rooms in a wonderfully quiet environment. Staff is very helpful and nice.
