Pros: Location is outstanding, close to JR Train Terminal and local bus lines, breakfast vouchers at two local restaurants offered a variety of breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Like many hotels in Japan, room was very efficient with space.

Richmond Hotel Musashino is conveniently located a 7-minute walk from Mitaka Station, which is 20 minutes by train to Shinjuku. This makes is very suitable for business and leisure travelers to Tokyo. A short 15-minute walk away from the hotel is the Ghibli Museum. A wonderful spread of Western and Japanese cuisine is served at the breakfast buffet. The rooms are simply decorated with a range of amenities, and both wired Internet and WiFi are available in all rooms.
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: The bathroom is very small. The breakfast did not include sweets such as croissants, penny-buster. The hotel does not provide water in the bottles, only one bag of coffee and one bag of tea. Mini-Bar (even chargeable bar) in the room is not available.
Pros: The hotel offers a free device, Handy, a smartphone which you can use for both data and voice (Japan and USA only). It has a strong battery that lasts all day long. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we were getting up late in the morning, but there are many cafes and konbini in the surroundings of the hotel.
Cons: I have no complaints at all!
Pros: Nearby mitaka station and 20 min walk from Kichijoji
Cons: No variation in breakfast.
Pros: Great staff.. Comfortable rooms,,, great breakfast selection
Pros: the phone and TV
Cons: complex check-in process
Pros: They provide a free smartphone with unlimited local data volume, and local/international calls.
Pros: Great location - restaurant in house with good deals and very helpful staff all over. Very clean and perfect for short stay - close walk to Mitaka station and Studio Ghibli.
Pros: Excellent for a business trip
Pros: Great property very clean
Pros: 10 minutes walk to JR Mitaka station on an express line to Shinjuku (around 30 minutes) and Tokyo station (around 45 minutes) so great for anyone travelling on a JR pass. Confortable bed and small but well laid out room with deep bath. The room had a cellphone provided with free calls to local numbers and to Uk and China and could be taken out to access internet and google maps when sight seeing. Exceptionally friendly reception staff who allowed us to borrow branded umbrellas when it rained for a whole day. We took the breakfast option and were provided great buffet breakfast at sizzler restaurant attached to hotel. Also short distance to some amazing parks and tree lined streets, including Studio Ghibli Museum.
Cons: Could almost (but not quite) see Mt Fuji from our 8th floor hallway. Need to get higher so can see the mountain without impediment!! Otherwise pleased and impressed with everything.
With a stay at Business Inn Grandeur Fuchu in Fuchu, you'll be a 4-minute drive from Ajinomoto Stadium and 10 minutes from Ghibli Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The room was nicely cleaned every day. The toilet is in its own little room. The bathtub was Japanese-style, with a shower area outside the tub. In other words, you don't have to take your shower standing in the bathtub. You can take a shower outside the bath and then step into a nice hot bath. The sink was in a separate space outside the bathing area. So there was a lot of space for toilet and bath. As usual in a Japanese hotel room, there is a small refrigerator and a water boiler.
Cons: I stayed in the annex building, close to the station. There is no staff in that building. You open the outside door and take the elevator to your room. There is no closet, no shelf, in the room. There is, strangely, a pole (for your clothes) hanging from the ceiling, with nice hangers. I had a twin room. No way that two people could stay in this room. The beds are right up against the wall, on the left and right, wth a tiny bit of space between the beds. it was overpriced, ¥12,000, for a non-central part of Tokyo. You can hear the trains outside. The windows are frosted, so the room feels closed in, rather claustrophobic. But you can slide open the windows a little bit. No breakfast is offered.
Pros: Clean comfortable room, helpful staff, great location near train station
Cons: Building is right next to the train tracks; couldn't sleep because of the train noise. Staff were helpful in arranging a new room for me in another building, still close to the station but much quieter.
Pros: The hotel have 2 buildings, the main area around 1 min walk to each other. I stayed at the 2nd building which was only 1 min to Tama station and next to Family Mart. Quite far from the city but my aim to be close to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies which was only 5-7 min walk depend on your speed. The hotel provides refrigerator, washing mashine, and umbrella.
Cons: Sometimes I can felt the vibration when the train coming since the railway was just behind the hotel, but that didnt bother me too much. My room was enough for 1 people. TV was small, clothesline next to my bed, very small bathroom and bathtube, hard mattress and uncomfy pillow. I think my room wasn't that clean because my eyes irritated by dust when I woke up in the morning for 2 days. Also the hotel didn't change my dirty glass and cup, so I have to wash it by myself.
Pros: Very clean. Very professional. Easy access to shopping, food and transport. Owner very friendly and explained everything well. All facilities worked properly. Very comfortable. Very cheap
Pros: The area was quiet, but very close to the local train station. This was my first experience of Japanese washing facilities, very nice!
Cons: The lighting couldn't be dimmed if you wanted to read in bed, and I needed to use google-translate on my phone to work the air-conditioning.
Pros: The hotel is very close to the Tama station. The room is clean.
Cons: It is a bit noisy since the train station is just behind.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nonsmoking room was very new and clean. Very convenient...next to the station.
Pros: Dinner there No complaints about quality. Convenient Hotel room is quite small for 2 people, but we managed.
Cons: Slight negative Would have liked More space for us, and better place for clothes storage Had refrigerator, hot pot, bed comfortable, nice shower room Served our purpose.
Pros: Close to the station
Cons: Not so clean as expected, facilities not connected to the electricity
With a stay at Ryokan Niko, you'll be centrally located in Koganei, within a 10-minute drive of Tokyo Racecourse and Ajinomoto Stadium. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area.
Pros: I stayed 6 nights, Sunday to Friday. I had a room with shared bathroom and bathtub. I never faced any issues with access to those (but also for most of my stay there were only 3-4 other people). The owner communicates very well in English.
In the heart of Musashino, Kichijoji Tokyu REI Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Close to station
Pros: Close to station and staff very good!
Pros: Location to the train station
Cons: Room was too small
Pros: The equipment, the welcome cosmetics and the breakfast!
Cons: The smoking smell in allways from smoking room even if mine was a non smoking room
Pros: The staff are very good
Pros: Superb location, very trendy area and awesome selection of restaurants in the area.
Pros: Great, convenient location - next to Kichijoji Station - easy access to other parts of Tokyo by train , as well as Hanneda and Narita Airports by bus. Excellent choices of food (restaurants), and supermarkets around. Have stayed in this hotel multiple times, mainly because of all these conveniences, and close to my work's office.
Cons: Ventilation - tends to get very warm at night; opening the window slightly is almost a necessity. Haven't stayed during summer months - not sure how well the A/C works.
Pros: Close to station and restaurants
Pros: We arrived at the hotel midnight as we noticed. The staff was well informed that and prepared. Took care tied my children and quickly finished check in. In addition, they kindly offered free late check out.
Cons: We reserved a room for three. They squeezed an extra bed in the room for two and that made the room just for sleep.
8.2 Excellent (72 reviews)
With a stay at HOTEL & RESORT BaliAn Tomei Kawasaki I.C - Adult Only in Kawasaki, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Museum of Japanese Houses and Susukino. Free self parking is available onsite.

Located in Musashino, Kichijoji Daiichi Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Close to station and restaurants
Cons: Expensive parking
Pros: Close to station
Pros: It was easy to get to from the nearby train station.
Cons: The photos of the location are a bit misleading. The rooms are extremely small and the hotel felt a bit dated. I was expecting more considering the rice point and neighborhood. We arrived late and there is no signage (in English) indicated that the hotel is on the second floor. We wandered around the mall looking for the hotel and ended up walking up the disabled escalator to find it.
Pros: The hotel was very well located and had convenient access from a Main Street. The staff were great, very friendly and well spoken. There seemed to be a lot of staff on the premises which was nice. The room was clean and tidy with complementary water.
Cons: Just the price per night. We feel it is over priced for the size of the room and the inclusions. A complementary drink voucher for two was given which was nice but still for $500 for x2 nights one would expect 4 star luxury and a meal provided for at least breakfast or dinner.
Pros: Bunk bed and bench to sit on and a table!
Cons: Slightly hard to locate and find on first time
Pros: Prime location and only 5-10 minute walk to station. Extremely clean hotel and plenty of entertainment in hotel for rainy days.
Cons: After a certain time they switch all lights in lobby and escalators off, the whole hotel looks closed.
Pros: Good location
Pros: We had an extra large corner room with two almost queen size beds. Lots of space for suitcases, which is not always the case with Japanese hotels. The bathroom was upgraded recently with new tile, sink, tub, toilet. Looked great. It was nice they offer free bowling at the bowling alley in their basement.
Cons: Only down side was our room had only one small window which looked out on the hotel's atrium and didn't open fully. It was hard to tell what the weather was like before going out.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great location.
Pros: Close to station and great parking!
Cons: No late dining
Located in Higashimurayama, Hotel Sentpia is within a 15-minute drive of Ghibli Museum and MetLife Dome. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Staff at check-in noted that I had reserved a triple instead of a double. He made the price adjustment on booking.com and I saved more than US $30 per night. That was very kind of him. All staff were very friendly and helpful - they were the best part of our stay! Thanks!
Cons: There was a funny smell when we first entered the room, but the room had an air purifier and once we turned it on everything was fine.
Hotel Musashino no Mori is located a 7-min walk from Tobitakyu Station on the Keio Line. The hotel offers cozy accommodation, with south-facing rooms on the upper floors offering views of Mt. Fuji. Japanese and Western-style rooms are available. Rooms come equipped with TV, electrick kettle, refrigerator and bidet toilet. Free high-speed wired Internet is available.
Pros: The staffs are so polite and very nice. It is very comfortable and near to the Musashino sport plaza, buy just walk for 5-8 mins!
Cons: The air-conditioner is very difficult to use for people who cannot read Japanese.
Pros: Bed was comfortable, location was out of the way but quiet and pleasant.
Cons: Room was very small, nearest station requires a couple of transfers to get anywhere.
Pros: The view was beautiful and the room was clean and tidy
Pros: The reception and all the staffs are ver friendly. The hotel and room is clean and no bad smell. The room is not too big just the normal size of a Japanese hotel room but with all necessary necessities. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioner is ok. The shower is strong. Bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush are all provided. Towel is very clean. There are free coffee and tea provided in the lobby. You can buy the breakfast voucher every morning to go to the neighbour restaurant. The breakfast is very tasteful. You should try it. The hotel is very close to the stadium, just 5-8 minutes walking distance. The nearby station is only around 10 minutes walking distance. There is only a few restaurant near the hotel, but you can go to the station. There are many choices of different restaurant. I have a wonderful stay here. I sure will come back. Thank you for serving me.
Cons: Nothing to complaint.
Pros: Cosy, clean room with a nice view towards the stadium and the TUFS campus. Obviously not a central Tokyo location, but good if you've got reasons to be at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Conveniently located in-between Tobitakyu station and TUFS.
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, comfortable

Pros: Large family room Loved the organic fresh local farm food especially the blue eggs
Cons: Old fashioned
Pros: Breathtaking breakfast buffet. They even had blue eggs (laid by special hens). 2 minutes to Fuchuu station. Two convenience stores right outside the door.
Pros: Convenience and comfort, and a very helpful staff.
Cons: There was one minus, and somehow it felt like an anomaly in what felt like a very clean hotel. But the second morning I was shocked to see a roach crawling on the floor in the room, quite literally the first one I’d ever encountered in Japan. I eliminated the intruder and saw no further traces of anything like this, and I almost wouldn’t mention it, but it seemed needed to be said.
Pros: Breakfast was good and the venue close to Tokyo stadium, 15 minutes by train.
Cons: I would have preferred a non smoking room but there wasn't one available.

Pros: It was well appointed, clean and the staff were quite friendly. I would also say that I never needed to use the restaurant as there were so many places to eat nearby. I was often staying out late because there were so many places to try.
Cons: It was kinda dusty inside the room and it was hard to stop sneezing sometimes as a result. Other than that it was fine.

Pros: Very friendly stand who really made an effort on the english and to make us feel welcome. Lovely hot bath at the top floor.

Pros: Free breakfast and on site parking.
Cons: Small bathroom.
Pros: Really nice people working there, simple and yummy breakfast and a comfortable room with everything you may need for the stay.
Cons: The stairs to get to the entrance are not so comfortable, specially if you have big and heavy luggages.
Pros: A bit of a walk to the train station, but this place is very quiet and clean, beds are comfortable.
