Pros: The owner is very friendly and kind! I stayed at a 3rd floor and it was cozy and fancy room. I love everything about here! Also I chose here to visit Chimay, and it was pretty close so very convenience. Breakfast was amazing! Im glad that I chose here to stay.
Pros: Everything was excellent!
Cons: Remote location
Pros: Beautiful property in the hills of Belgium with very welcoming hosts (despite the rather late hour of our arrival). Delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed! Super easy parking. We had room #3 - the loft bedroom on the top floor - with gorgeous exposed timber beams and very generous layout. This had the softest most wonderful towels I’ve experienced in a hotel in years. Stay here!
Cons: Breakfast was excellent, privacy was given. (Early) Timing of the breakfast was superb, thank you.
Pros: Linda and Danny were wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home. Wonderfully furnished and comfy for a cold winter evening.
Pros: Very warm welcoming host, making you feel at ease immediately. Abundant breakfast. We highly appreciated the pet-free non-smoking policy! Good starting point to discover this beautiful region, e.g. as 'Fondry du Chien'.

Some feature wooden floors and all offer private bathrooms with free soap and shampoo products. Tromcourt Manoir offers a continental breakfast every morning or a buffet depending on the season. Guests have free access to the animal park on site, which has wild animals including deer, lamas and kangaroos. Karting Des Fagnes is just 1.2 km away from the castle.
Pros: Amazing house in great gardens with such huge character and plenty of different spaces to relax: on the terrace, in the main hall and the room. Each room was beautifully decorated. Fantastic, friendly and accommodating host that really made it for us; he was always happy to see us and highly attentive. For instance he brought us coffee each morning (€1pp). Very secure.
Cons: Poor fridge in room. If you didn't have transport, you would struggle to get into Mariembourg, i.e. no taxis or public transport. Softish beds (as mentioned in a 6-year-old Lonely Planet)
Pros: This was a very old chateau with a lot of character. Very nice family run business that I will be sure to return to. We had made a mistake when booking arrival times and the host was very accommodating. Nice grounds to walk about with animals children would be sure to enjoy. Very good value for money, one of the most memorable stays I have had via booking.com
Cons: It was very hot, room was a bit warm.... but this was one of the hottest days in the year...
Pros: uniquely romantic, historical building and interior, plus lots of animals around: peacocks, ostrich, deer, goat. lovely owner/caretaker. near to awesome brewery and restaurant des Fagnes.
Pros: Lovely place loaded with history and well maintined
Cons: Vintage Bathroom would deserve a proper shower
Pros: You'll be staying in an old manor which has been scaled down to a guest house. It hasn't lost any of its charm and the owner is heartwarmingly friendly. There's an adjacent animal park with friendly emu's and deer.
Pros: It was already our third stay there. As usual, we liked the old manor that inside looks like a castle, while outside you have plenty of interesting animals. We also experienced the old steam train a few kilometres away (Chemin de fer des trois vallées).
Cons: It is a pity that the most beautiful salon can not anymore be used by guests (this being said, the remaining salons are also very nice).
Cons: Breakfast too basic

Pros: We had an upgrade for the Dailly Chalet. It was amazing. We really loved the place and the garden. The contact with Virginie was easy, and we have all the information that we needed, including that we must look for restaurant, supermarket or another kind of store outside the village (Dailly). The chalet has all that you need for a good staying. It was fantastic!
Cons: Outside the building is a surveillance camera that points directly to de bedroom's window. So, it's a little bit inconvenient...
Cons: There is not light outside at the entrance it was very difficult to see the very small display to type the access code
