9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious modern rooms with a very comfortable bed and big walk in shower. Large balcony with chairs and a table. Very friendly staff.
Cons: A couple of English / French / German channels on the television would be a nice extra for foreigners staying over.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was superb. It was very stylish and spotlessly clean, but also very well thought out. e.g. There were enough plug sockets in the right locations, there was the option of a light that was bright enough for me to work when I needed to, there was always a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge... The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the aircon was quiet.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very comfy bed.
Cons: They spray the building with perfume because the drainage smells bad. As a result the whole building has a mix of the perfume that makes you dizzy and a bad smell. The soundproofing of the building is bad.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were were wonderful
Cons: The space around the sink is too small. You can not place the soap bar comfortably or any accessory you would like to have there. They only organize the room but do not clean it for you although you ask for that, specifically the bathroom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar on the top floor is cozy and quiet. The personal communicator in the room was very useful.
Cons: No drinking water in the room. No sign in the room to ask for room cleaning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable rooms
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful clean room! Polite and courteous staff. Good quality food.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfort, clean new rooms, friendly staff, etc.
Cons: Internet speed was rather a challenge. I am business traveller and have stayed at your hotel three times already. i think internet speed should be improved. Breakfast was OK but not that many variations
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Modern and clean interiors. Friendly staff
Cons: Unpleasant disinfectant smell in some hallways
9.5 Excellent

Arsinoe Guesthouse - Nicosia - Bedroom
2
9.5 Excellent (154 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Frendly host, guesthouse was great
Cons: Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy because of the traffic and people passing by but nothing special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful and friendly owners and thus lovely guesthouse elevated our trip to Nicosia into a whole new level. The facilities are clean and plentiful, and it’s not far from Ledra street and bus station. The neighborhood may seem dark and empty at night, but all you have to worry about is watchc out for cars when crossing the narrow streets. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is done with love to details. I felt very welcomed and comfortalbe
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I had such a lovely stay here. The location is perfect and only five minutes walk from the main shopping street. The hosts are so helpful and very warm and friendly. The facilities are shared and it makes it a good environment when you are traveling alone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Place has allot of character. The owners have kept it in it's original condition. The surrounding area is very rustic from the buildings to the cobbled floor Diner's hidden on the many backstreets. Modern and Traditional are mixed well where I stayed in Nicosia and the food was a steal. Finally the host Athena consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Great place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The house was central, place clean and airy and the staff helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff and guests Clean room and washroom Beautiful garden inside the house Wonderful decoration Highly recommended for staying
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of the town ! It’s like you own a house ... it was a visit of Nicosia without the boring “hotel reception people” gossiping your every move ... the sheeds on the bed smell like heaven ... I felt the traditional history and all the “luxury past” of Cyprus in that place ... without the ghosts
Cons: The wooden stairs make some noice ... a small tv wouldn’t be bad at every room ... if there was a fireplace at common areas (living rooms) IT WOULD BE DIVINE !!! Also ... a pressurized shower would also give my 10 out of 10 as a rate for my stay !!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: You really feel at home here (or at your family summer house). This place is nice and cosy.
Cons: We did not meet the host(s), though this is understandable as we stayed there on 31/1 January. Maybe it's not that practical to go all the way to the bathroom when it's cold and rainy, as you must go down the stairs and cross the courtyard.

Pros: The property is well organized, very clean and it has all necessary facilities. Our host Efthimios was very helpful and you should definitely try the Breakfast at his coffee shop near by. A Greate value for money property.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hosts; we were invited for a complimentary coffee at their coffee shop. We went back every day for their great coffee. (Best in Cyprus). Close to everything. Efthemios and Linda make you feel part of the community.
Cons: The room is separated from the adjacent room by a thin door which would have been a problem if the other guests were noisy.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole property is classic Lefkara. The room is perfect. I feel like this is my own home in the village. Sitting in the courtyard enjoying your morning coffee and reading the newspaper or emails from your phone is very relaxing. Quiet and lots of privacy. The staff was all very nice. They treat you like family. They make sure you are comfortable and have everything you may need. The breakfast every morning is phenomenal. A true Cypriot Breakfast. Highly recommend. Fresh orange juice included. I will come and visit Lefkara many times more and this is where I intend to stay every time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sensational location, awesome bed, fantastic bathrooms. Great to meet the owner and she was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the lovely city of Nicosia.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel in an amazing location. Inside it’s beautiful old building. It sits just above a restaurant and a lovely cafe/bar in a little leafy arcade/cut through that plays music softly until 1am - don’t worry you can’t hear it in your rooms (I stayed in two different rooms during my time here) unless you open your windows. It’s clean with great facilities, even comes with wine! Lots of character without being drab. The owner is lovely.
Cons: Nothing.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: cozy atmosphere, clean and quiet. very friendly owner and her nice fluffy cats! free parking on street. easy to commute.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Véronique is a brilliant host and the appartment is very very nice, there is nothing more to say - all perfect!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Veronique offers just two B and B rooms in her rather spectacular apartment, so the feeling is very personal and uncommercial. She was a fantastic and friendly host - collecting us from the bus late at night and taking us to the car hire place the next morning. The room was smart and comfortable and full of welcoming touches - for us this included little Easter eggs. The breakfast included a delicious selection of fresh local pastries. We only had one night here en route to the Troodos mountains, but I suspect the quiet residential location would suit some very well as a base for discovering Nicosia.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The property was exactly as described, and our host, Veronique, was super pleasant, helpful and always willing to make our stay better.
Cons: There was nothing I disliked. If anything, I d rather we had had more time to spend a night (or two) at home and enjoy the beautiful balcony.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked 3 times the H B&B during our Cyprus round trip. The way Véronique is as a host is unique. There is hardly another B&B you get that service - starting from breakfast which is delicous, the informations especially for Nicosia but also for whole of Cyprus, the many little things she is taking care of for making the stay for the guests a very nice event. Go there when you are in Nicosia and you will never regret. That's what I call a 10!
Aperanti Agrotourism - Pera - Bedroom
6
9.6 Excellent (53 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in a remote feeling yet accessible traditional town, by the end of our stay we felt like locals. We loved the homemade breakfasts and looked forward to seeing what treats the hosts would prepare next. The hosts (Sara, her partner Tassos, and Tassos’ mother) were extremely warm and welcoming, and were everready to provide advice and tips on travel across the island (including loaning us maps of the area).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy stay in a small village. Very friendly staff. We had a great 3-course dinner in the evening: an organic homecooked meal with several vegetables from their own garden. We went for a 4k walk (could be extended to the next village) suggested by the staff. They also had many suggestions for other sights around the island, just ask!
Cons: The room was a little bit cold (this was Feb) but the houses themselves are not too isolated. Also a little bit dimmed light in the room, maybe a few more lamps would be good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stay in a authentic village. We did a cooking class with Sarah and her partners mother (Cypriot Dolma) which was fantastic - for the cooking, but also the conversation and insight into local Cypriot life. Cute village with options for local hikes, while still being a short drive from Nicosia. Family room was huge! Don't let the lack of air conditioning bother you - rooms were cool with the fans going and no issue for our 3 month old in early July. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing that we can think of other than our stay being too short.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both breakfasts and the evening meal were delicious with local and home made produce - so interesting to experience. The balcony to the room was a nice space for yoga practice. Easy local walks and friendly village. The local knowledge of Sara and Tassos meant we experienced a side of Cyprus we would have missed otherwise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff from the very beginning was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The facilities are great. Nothing to complain for. We spent a night with our pet as well and definitely will recommend and visit it again :) Thank you Tasos & Sara
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners are so wonderful and helpful . They helped us plan some great hikes in the area that we would have never known about. They have all the information available - even including a map for the Northern side of Nicosia. They even prepared a special map for us for the Easter holiday with hours of when restaurants and stores will be open so we won't be left hungry!!!! This is our 5th visit to Cyprus and the first time we were really able to learn about the Country's history and present situation. It was also the first time we could talk to Cypriots about visiting Northern Cyprus. The restored old village house has kept it's style yet, is incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is great all coming with explanations about the different Cypriot foods. The dinner was lovely Make sure you don't eat a big lunch so you can enjoy all the gourmet courses!
Cons: The location is good if you have a car. It's about 1/2 hour into Nicosia and about the same to the mountain area. It may be difficult to come here by public transportation. Just a note - the location is not on a farm. It is a lovely house in the village. The foods are provided from their farm which is located in another part of town. This was perfect for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the house is very nice renovated in a nice cosy village, the hosts are great - extremly friendly - they gave a lot of suggestions what to do and Sara is a great cook - the dinner cooked by her is amazing -you should not miss it (including the explainations about the food and the culture) - the whole stay was really great, we enjoyed it soo much - thanks to the hosts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: absolutely nothing to complain
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was very delightful, the hosts make you feel right at home. They were extremely accommodating to all our needs. The home made dinnner was amazing. The cheese making was so much fun. Cons: Room very small, though fine for overnight.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful renovated house, attention to detail. Amazing breakfast and lovely welcome by the hosts.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Style and decor. Room very comfortable with a very good quality bed. Spa area peaceful.
Cons: Food at the restaurant not very good. No pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place. Restaurant is outstanding.
Cons: It cries out for a swimming pool!
5.5 Okay
Pros: The massage as a treatment only and the comfy bed.
Cons: No spa facilities, just a room where you get your massage and then leave covered in oils wearing your clothes. No robes or a relaxing place after the massage. The dinner food was below average in quality. Breakfast was also very average. Moody waitresses.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the peace and quiet, the choices of pillows and the area.
Cons: I didn’t like that inside the room you can hear what is going on in the hallway, And hear the noises. I also would have liked to have a kettle with hot water for tea and coffee inside the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is very interesting. Very remote, but only a few minutes away from other villages. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in an american desert! Pretty cool. Very clean facilities, Amazing decoration and atmosphere.
Cons: Spa facilities are quite overpriced compared to other spa centres in Nicosia. Also, you need to book a session days in advance to find available slots! This means it is difficult to book a spontaneous spa treatment while you are there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The music in the corridors and the sound of water at the lobby were really relaxing. The masseur was really kind. The interior design was terrific!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is stunning, a great retreat away from the busier parts of Cyprus. The lunch/dinner menu was incredible- superfood salad and pasta was amazing and very large portions. Rooms are really cute with very personalised touches throughout.
Cons: As it was really hot it would have been great if the hotel had a pool as the nearest beach was quite far (25 min drive). The breakfast buffet was good but I thought as this is wellness retreat there would be some healthier options such as green juices, chia puddings, acai bowls etc.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind! The girls working to the spa were amazing! It was very clean and the food very good!
Cons: The same woman that did the massage for me, next morning she was cleaning as well..which means bad job allocation, maybe understaffed?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite an amazing resort. You can tell they invested a lot in very small and (at first look) unimportant small details, but which they have a great impact upon your arrival and your staying. Welcoming staff. The room was wonderful, the bed huge and the pillows (omg) a dream come true, plus the room smells divine, i have no idea how they manage to do that. Also I liked the little terrace on the outside and the hammock, really relaxing. The lounge area and the restaurant go on the same design and the food both breakfast and dinner were excellent (plus you have to try their Turkish coffee), in my opinion the prices are decent and considering the position, they have lots of activities (horse back ridding to a near by farm, cycling, and obviously massages).

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very spacious and beautiful. Beds are big and bedding clean and nice. Good quality accommodation. Great place, highly recommended!
Cons: There was no porters to assist with luggage. The place is upmarket and we suggest having porters. We waited two days for TV to be fixed since we had a problem. No cleaning was done on the day before our departure. We had to call reception to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. These are minor issues but it’s important for hotel to live up to the standard of the apartments.

Pros: We were in Cyprus for a conference and stayed in one of the two-bedroom flats with my colleagues. The flats are amazing, everything is done to the perfection! Beds are super comfy, kitchen appliances are very nice, the balcony and view is amazing! I can write so many nice things about this flat. Moreover, even though it is a flat, it is served like an hotel room such that it is cleaned every day as well as the towels and toiletries are replaced. And the location is just great too!

Cons: Organic food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a peaceful beautiful place with a big garden which provide us fresh bio eggs, fruits, and vegetables every day. I love the caring Anti who is always helpful and happy, and she takes care of us very well. I love the "crazy stupid Uncle" who supported us and shared with us his great wisdom as if we were his children.
Cons: 10 scores is definitely not enough to describe this wonderful place. I regret not booking a longer trip to stay there some more days. I had already missed them when I had to say goodbye at airport.

7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was adequate and the food was very fresh and the staff were very nice
Cons: The only thing that could have been better was the location however in saying that we were provided with a shuttle service to the main area of Nicosia which was a bonus as had we taken our rental car there parking would have been a problem
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like that they provide a shuttle and that breakfast was included. These added value .
Cons: They provide a shuttle for 2 rides a day. What thwy don't say is that the shuttle can only take you into toqn and to the university which is within a mile. That's not what is advertised abot the shuttle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There’s free drinks and snacks all day. Large rooms with complete amenities. Bathroom were big and was given a room with a huge balcony. They also offer lunch and dinner and was able to try the dinner for a fair price. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet. Parking is free onsite. Overall it exceeded my expectations.

Pros: EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. WE ARRIVED EARLY BUT WE WERE ALLOWED INTO OUR ROOM. ALL DRINKS AND SNACKS ARE AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE ALL DAY. YOU CAN USE THE FREE MINIBUS TO GO INTO THE CENTRE OF NICOSIA. THE BREAKFAST IS A FEAST. THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO OTHERS. WHAT A FIND!
Cons: N/A
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and very large room. Everything was new and renovated, we had a living room and a bedroom and both had very large TVs and AC. Nice little balcony and lots of services offered by the hotel, which we didn't use though :)
Cons: The location is not the best but it's still ok, not an issue especially if you have a car. The breakfast could be improved, it's too standardized and nothing special. Still, the good points of the hotel more than make up for these minor issues.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host, Nicola, on the reception was very hospitable and helpful, hotels are missing hosts like him. The room design was unique and nice. The hotel is in a quiet street and spacious to park the car. Bed is very comfortable and overall the room with the balcony is very good. We even asked for an extension time for checkout and they were very generous and provided this to us. One more thing, anytime you arrive, there will be water, coffee, biscuits and fruits for free in the common area
Cons: nothing in particular. everything was ok
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms have been updated and are excellent value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Everything was ok

Breakfast was very nice and in the evening I helped myself to cappuccinos from restaurant no extra charge including jelly rice pudding etc. I left to spend few days in larnaca at the beach but now I wish I stayed there I could not find anything bad to say about Asty it exceeded my expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, free parking space, a balcony in the room, 5-10 mins to the Old Town

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had a good variety of options. Being offered an orange juice along with tea and coffee at the time of being seated was a nice touch. We were upgraded on check in and taken care of throughout the trip.
Cons: We originally paid for a pool view room and on upgrade our room was moved to road side view but the room was far lovelier and out weighed the negative.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, great breakfast, great facilities (pool, spa, gym...). Good restaurants on site (Japanese, Greek).
Cons: No bathtub in room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Builders working outside room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room, very comfortable and spacious
Cons: Room 105. Toilet room gets extremely hot in the morning because there is no window cover for the sun.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved the reception area
Cons: During my stay the Lifts broke down about 3 times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff especially Iouanna and the friendliest door man I have ever met. Wonderful
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff are great! I have stayed here many times before and they are always really friendly and can’t do enough to help. Rooms very comfortable and breakfast nice with good selection.
Cons: There was building work going in outside so there was allot of drilling and banging and the views to the pool from the breakfast area were all obscured which was slightly disappointing.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Lobby is OK. Wifi is fast. Huge bathroom and clean
Cons: Hotel is really old and needs renovation. Gives you a feeling of an old hospital. Huge room but at the same time lacking paintings and furniture. Thus not cosy. Breakfast is poor. The parking lot is in front of the main entrance and gives a bad first impression. The interior needs a full restoration. When sitting by the pool you have an awful view of the antennas. You need more than half an hour to be served at the pool. All in all it is a parenthesis of the Hilton hotels.

7.5 Good
Pros: Fatma and her husband are amazing people and we loved staying in their place. Lucky for us the people who came there were very nice too so it felt like home.
Cons: My only complain was the bed, it wasn't comfortable unfortunately.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fatma, the owner, was great. highly recommend her restaurant as well. very clean, excellent kitchen, good bathroom. interesting guests.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay, near the "border" so easy to walk to the Greek side of the island. Room was big, the kitchen was nice and big and it was good that we could wash our laundry there. The owner was absolutely lovely.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hostess Fatma was very friendly and helpful. My room was big, clean ad had everything needed also for longer stay. There were 2 plugs to use for charging electronic equipment. Room had air conditioner to heat or cool the room. Though this hotel had shared bathroom, bathroom was clean and had even real shampoo to use (not like usually in the hotels where shower gel and shampoo is the same) and shower cabin was big and not having curtain but glass wall. Old town was just around the corner and checking point for pedestrians just 15 minutes walk.
Cons: The lack of proper parking place for the car. It was not safe to leave your car next to the hotel - my car's both rear tyres were made deliberately flat at night and it made me think was it done because my rented car had so called south-side licence plate (it was even asked from me next day by one local) or because I just "took" someone's place or both reasons together. Next day I left my car to more public place and then everything was OK with the car. In spite of this incident, it was not dangerous to walk there in the dark (seemed to be quite safe).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spatial with high ceiling, big windows, and a charming balcony overlooking a maze of small lively streets in old Lefkosa. A big bed with white warm cotton bedsheets offered a good sleep. Finally the kindness of the hosts to help in some logistical issues was greatly appreciated. Pansion Inês is a nice place to live the life of the locals in that pittoresque town!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Fatma, were super helpfully and friendly at every time
Cons: Bathroom is shared, but as long there are just few dorms, it’s always free
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evrything are perfect..meny thanks for all..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very hospitable owner and her husband. This place was awesome, close to the borders in the central Nicosia in the hidden street. Comfortable bed, spacious room, decent decor and very enjoyable stay.
Cons: The shared bathroom wasn't a problem at all. It was in the hallway and almost always empty. The room is not soundproof, so if you're a light sleeper, take your earplugs.
7.5 Good
Pros: Old Town is fantastic
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host is very friendly and speaks very good English. The place is about 10 minutes by food from the gate on border of Cyprus and the Turkish part. There is all kind of equipment shared in the quest house - fridge, washing machine, stove, terrace etc.
Cons: Surrounding area is not very nice. Sound isolation is not good and it is a bit noisy there during the night, so better to take ear plugs. The quest house Is not in Google Maps, but it is behind Pedieos guest house.

Overview Reviews
Bedroom 1 is called Yasemin(Jasmine), it is a cozy private room in my boutique hotel, 1 of 3 rooms. It is designed for your comfort and aimed to make you feel at home. One more bed can be added to the room upon request. There are 2 separate single beds that can be used as one or individually. Bedroom 2 is called Sardunya(Sardinia), 1 of 3 rooms. There are 2 single beds in this room. Bedroom 3 is called Cemile ( Bougainvillea ), 1 of 3 rooms. One more bed can be added to the room upon request. There is 1 queen size bed in this room. All our rooms are en suite. Our pricing is 60 euros for 1 guest, 70 euros for 2 guests, 100 euros for 3 guest, including breakfast. Guests can use the courtyard, which has a table, chairs and sofas. We offer breakfast in here when the weather is sunny, other times breakfast is serviced in the breakfast room. There is a receptionist named Dudu in hotel until 7pm (19.00). We prefer check-ins before 7pm for this reason. For check-ins after 7pm, I personally come and open the room for you. Check out time is at 12.00. We are located in the heart of the walled city at a distance of 1 minute walk from the Kyrenia Gate. As a first impression, our neighbourhood may look neglected due to its old and ancient nature, but this location makes it easy to visit historical places around, which is a great advantage during a touristic vacation. It is really easy to get around by walking in the walled city. We can also arrange airport shuttle services as well as other taxi and rent-a-car services. While designing the rooms, I tried my best to reflect my style and experiences over the years as an architect. I hope that you would enjoy your stay and consider us your home in Cyprus.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great athmosphere, lovely breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast. Very comfortable. A surprise oasis of quietness in the middle of a busy town
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Dudu was very helpful and went over the top to make the stay comfortable. Great host and would definitely go back. Had the hotel to myself and private. Helped with transfer to airport and late checkout for a later flight.
Cons: Beds were comfortable but two singles put together. If you were a couple this wouldn't be comfy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is not far away from the tourist place, and closed to bus terminal, 7 minutes by walking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host- Dudu is amazing. Very helpful and informative. The concept of the hotel is nice and location is near to main attraction of the city.
Cons: Need to get a detail map of the location of the hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A charming little hotel (only 2 guest rooms! -- off of a small courtyard, reception, and breakfast nook -- a one-storey converted house); staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spectacular.
Cons: The walls are thin and the rooms therefore very noisy; the glass window over the door, coupled with the light in the courtyard, makes for a bright room at night. All in all -- not the best for getting a good night's sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice cosy hotel with few rooms and very friendly staff. Traditional turkish breakfast- cheese, olives, fruits served in a dining room. The lady in the reception was very helpful in helping us to arrange airport transfer and rent a car. You will find lot of maps and tourist information booklets in the lobby. Nicosia attractions and Ledra street border crossing in 10 minutes walking distance
Cons: Rather scary neighbourhood when you arrive. But no fear, almost the entire north Nicosia looks like that. Acceptable restaurants bit far away, either near Büyük Han or outside the old city walls. We had no luck with the weather thus open atrium from where the rooms open is not enjoyable in chilly evenings or when it rains.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. Lovely owner. Beautiful bed. and breakfast. Interesting neighbourhood…
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cypriot Swallow Hotel is situated in a superbly renovated building and has 3 rooms that open onto an internal courtyard. The whole interior is bright and cheerful, it has been charmingly decorated, is full of plants and interesting objects and feels very homely. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We had the Bougainvillea room - the room itself was not huge but there was a good sized wardrobe and drawers and we also had a small private entrance lobby which gave us quite a bit of extra space. There was a fridge, kettle air con, hairdryer etc - everything you need. The double bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. The bathroom was well equipped and plenty of hot water in the shower. There was a little noise from the street during the evening but it stopped about midnight and didn’t cause us any problems. Service was good although we only met one member of staff - Dudu gave us a great welcome, plenty of advice, and helped us find a parking space for the hire car. It was no problem to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out and come back for it later. The breakfast was amazing - a traditional Cypriot array of different cheeses, jams etc which were all freshly prepared and we could choose what time we wanted it. It is served in the courtyard if the weather is good or in the inside breakfast room if not. Location is good - it is inside the city walls in the northern Turkish part of Lefkosa; 3 minutes walk from Kyrenia Gate, and is close to the historical centre and the main attractions. It is close enough to the Ledra Street border crossing to walk even with a lot of luggage. It is easy to find when driving as long as you have a good map. Other people have complained about the area but we did not have a problem with it, it was poor but old and authentic and the people were friendly. We only spent one night here as a stopover before crossing to the south for the rest of our trip but would love to come back and spend longer another time.
Cons: No complaints. The only drawback is there was no private parking facility, we had to park a couple of streets away so slightly worried about the hire car but it was fine so that is the main thing. The price was a little higher than we normally pay but comparable to other properties so not an issue.
5.0 Okay
Pros: A very friendly small hotel. Rooms clean and comfy. Great location foot local amenities and sightseeing.

8.7 Excellent (63 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Tseri, Costas Hostel Action is within a 15-minute drive of Makario Stadium and GSP Stadium. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is a converted family house, bedrooms are really tiny with bunk beds, so a bit cramped. It was a bit shocking when we turned up there and the reception desk at the entrance was actually also the staff's bedroom. Good size kitchen with sitting area, but there is the only one bathroom plus extra toilet and we had to share it amongst about 15 people. Overall the place is friendly and safe with good value for money and I am happy that I could stay there for a little while.
Cons: One more bathroom would be essential.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was your home away from home. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I had my own room which was great. Bed was excellent. Costas arranges trips around the island. Very convenient! It was easy to get to Nicosia by local bus.
Cons: Soundproofing wasn't that good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for one night after a busy day exploring. The accommodation is great value! Costas is very super friendly!
6.5 Good
Pros: This place is cheap and has basic facilities. Dorm rooms. Kitchen. Hot shower. WiFi. Great if you are on a budget
Cons: It was further fro Nicosia than I expected. 30 min bus ride .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostel owner is a really nice person and we became friends, he invited me to go with him to different places on the island in his car and it was very nice to see some of the local life. The hostel is located in a quiet small rural town with friendly people and it is nice to take one of the bicycles and cycle around for a while to explore it. The town has olive trees everywhere. The town still has good facilities like a pretty large supermarket that has just about anything you could want and a few smaller mini-markets. Costa, the owner, let me store some things in his attic while I traveled to other places and came back later to pick it up. Everything was clean and there are 2 bathrooms, one has a toilet plus shower and one has only a toilet, so there is always an open toilet. He has a washing machine that he lets you use for some money, but you can also hand wash your clothing and leave it to dry in the garden on the clothing lines. The bus to go there from Nicosia costs 1.50 euro each way as of writing. There was one bad behaving guest but he gave me a different room when I told him. I hope to one day greet and host you in Amsterdam, Costa! If you decide to travel further. Otherwise maybe in Cyprus again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was nice.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Mostly refugees staying who were kind and generous.
Cons: Metal bunk beds with very thin mattress that leached heat out of your body.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice village, owner very helpfull, nice. fully equiped.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Normally I stay in the Hilton hotels which although good are very overpriced. However this Hotel is extremely well priced for the hotel you get and is perfect in terms of location and service for a business traveller. Maybe some of the common areas could be updated a little but at the same time there is a certain charm in some of the furniture. The outdoors terrace was very pleasant, with relaxing music but the waiters do need to be reminded to pop out and take orders (if only to make more money). The room I had was very pleasant and had a nice comfortable balcony. Overall my experience was extremely positive.
Cons: I missed breakfast twice but i could only get a toasted sandwich; some sort of all day breakfast option might be useful for people who are late risers...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff greeted us at reception. The staff at breakfast were also very attentive.
Cons: All was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool staff and breakfast included
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good Breakfast. Good parking.
Cons: Location a little far from the old city
7.0 Good
Pros: The first room we were given smelled terribly. It was unbearable. We turned around, went to reception and asked for a different room. The 2nd room we were given was fine. The room and hotel were clean, the location was very good. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was acceptable. Staff was friendly and accommodating but what made an impression was they spoke in the 1st person informal form, which I find unacceptable for hotel staff on the first day and without having built any rapport with the guest. Good in general but overpriced in my opinion.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Small toilets staff at front desk not helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely Hotel, very friendly staff, ideal for me as I was there on business
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A perfect hotel for a business trip, with a nice restaurant and a friendly staff. Breakfast was good, although it was the same every day. Room was quite spacious with a lot of space in the closet. We also had a balcony with a small tabel and two chairs, which was nice.
Cons: The bathroom was very badly-lit and thus seemed a bit depressing and claustrophobic. Apart from that everything was fine. Towels were changed everyday and there were plenty of toiletries.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: the air-condition in the room was to low maybe has a small problem but all the other things was perfect
