Pros: Very friendly people, well equipped room, superb breakfast
Cons: Nothing reallly
Pros: Amazing breakfast.
Pros: Great place to stay close to lots of really interesting villages and historic sites. The accommodation is very comfortable in a beautiful setting, perfectly clean with undercover parking. Suzanne and Frédéric are perfect hosts and made us very welcome. Excellent breakfast in a lovely room decorated with much charm. Highly recommended !
Pros: This was a lovely self-contained space in a lovely home, with its own patio facing a disused truffle woods. The hosts were kind and welcoming and the breakfast was fabulous with home and local produce.
Pros: At Nid de mesanges in Chaffour sur Vell everything is... tres belle surroundings, room and food all is really very good we’d liked to stay a longer spell. Frederic and Suzanne are great hosts. Very nice talking to. The Correze region is fantastically beautiful, almost pastoral. Nicest we have visited.
Located in Les Quatre-Routes-du-Lot, Le Domaine D'Elisabeth is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Musée de l'Homme de Néandertal and Martel Station. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: home setup.
Pros: Lovely friendly couple, great breakfast, beautiful house well decorated and maintained with spacious rooms. Good location not far from places of interest to visit and several restaurants close by.
Pros: Beautiful house. Modern and contemporary. Excellent hosts. Delicious breakfast, with.yoghurts bread, home made confitures and pastries/cakes, juice, eggs and plenty of coffee. Ample parking with.grounds and great location for touring around the area There is even an excellent restaurant within 10 minutes walking distance.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: It was fantastic .I would love to come back
Cons: I can't think of a thing
Cons: After 6 hours long and congested drive from Paris, the owner welcomed us with not a handshake, not ´Bonjour’, instead waving his watch at our face shouting at us ´do you know what time it is’. We were half an hour late compare with the initial time communicated, and I sent him an email to inform him. He kept shouting that he couldn’t sleep due to late arrival guests like us. Extremely rude and agressive.
Pros: It is a very clean and an extremely well decorated home, a tasteful residence. The hosts are kind and very gentle. The breakfast is adequate, though no savoury addition to the content of the menu of the continental breakfast on offer.
Cons: It appears that the rooms that are used for B&B are on the second floor. Therefore, it is difficult for those with walking disabilities. Especially as there is a flight of stair to enter the house.
Pros: The couple who own the property could not have been nicer. They were very helpful and kind. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfast good.
With a stay at Chateau de Lissac in Lissac-sur-Couze, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lac du Causse and Centre National d'Etudes Edmond Michelet. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Second visit to the Chateau. Prior 3 years ago. New female owner lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast good although included in room cost on the previous visit. Room tidy and a good sleep.
Cons: Male owner not so welcoming, said hello but otherwise not wanting to engage in conversation. The opposite of his lovely wife. The once beautiful gardens are run down and in need of maintenance. The male owner needs to put some gardening clothes on and start trimming hedges. The chateau is beautiful but has lost the special feeling that brought us back for a second visit.
Pros: Friendly staff. Beautiful castle. Beautiful setting. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Modern day bathroom. Impossible to be The Ritz because it’s a castle. Great value.
Cons: Bed not comfortable.
Pros: Beautiful view over the lake, the hosts were very friendly, amazing architecture of the chateau and beautifully decorated. Absolutely stunning
Pros: Meticulously kept grounds in a beautiful location overlooking the Lac du Causse, the Chateau itself is a wonderful medium that combines the old-world charm of a castle with modern amenities and chic decor. The surrounding attractions in the area, including Sarlat, Domme, Rocamadour, and Turenne were easily accessible, and close by was Brive, allowing for quick access to a larger town if you’re feeling a bit isolated. The property owners, along with their three beautiful children, welcomed us graciously and we were made to feel like family. If you’re searching for a getaway to Dordogne with the charm of a welcoming family yet still retaining the option for access to a large town with shops & restaurants, then this place is perfect. It certainly was for us.
Pros: I loved the decor
Cons: The wasps No air conditioner or fan
Pros: Hosts were super nice and it was a real adventure. The castle is beautiful and the scenery is exquisite. Perfect place for a romantic trip with some adventure included! Lake was perfect also! Tara & Stephen
Pros: Wonderful place ..a must see .. real Historic Chateaux and beautifully kept.
Cons: But be ready to carry you luggage up a spiral stone staircase ....fabulous ..but a bit hard going for older bones !

Pros: Amazing location and facilities - loved it
Cons: It is a bit hard to find
Pros: Chateau Marsac is beautifully located on a hill and very quiet. There are only 4 rooms which make for a very private experience. The room was one of the most beautiful ones we’ve ever seen; inside the castle, very large. It felt like the whole floor was ours. The design is modern and the furniture high end. The owner of the property is a great host who makes sure the experience is above any expectations.
Pros: very good as was the lovely location. The property has been most tastefully restored -a delight

Pros: A lovely location in a beautiful area of France. Our hosts were superb and very welcoming. The evening meal was delicious and good value for money. The owners have recently taken over so they are planning to do a makeover of the rooms which will be beneficial ( currently they are comfortable but lacking a cosy spirit). However the garden pool and general ambiance is totally chilled and enjoyable
Cons: THe rooms need a little more comfort. THe upstairs and also the indoor dining room don't currently reflect the friendliness of the owners but that is there next project since they recently took over the property
Cons: Perhaps a little more variety in the dinner menu
Pros: Everything: room, swimming pool, garden, food...
Cons: Nothing, it was just perfect. Maybe it would be nice to have more choice for the breakfast, but what was there was very good.
Pros: Great location, close to beautiful villages to visit. Nice and friendly hosts. Good restaurant. The pool is nice.
Cons: Close to the road, a bit noisy during the day, but no problem at night.
Pros: Food is excellent. Rooms are airconditioned. We have been coming here for years now and it never disappoints.
Cons: The bed had some kind of waterproof cover under the sheet, which had a strange feel.
Pros: Superb chef & excellent evening meal at a good price. Very friendly management, super breakfast. Will definitely stay again when in area.

Pros: The staff were friendly
Cons: Our room was dirty. There were bogies on the door frame, it was filthy around the floor. The shower had no curtain or door, there was no plug to fill the bath so I had to stuff my flannel in the plug hole. The mattress was rock hard.
Pros: handy for airport. nice garden to sit in.
Cons: An evening meal would be a great addition to the stay having seen the great value lunch they serve there.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Basic, no frills accommodation, good if you’re after a budget overnight stay. It was exactly what we expected for the price, no complaints. Breakfast was only 5 euros, basic with good coffee.
Cons: Our room was above a noisy bar area, the noise stopped around midnight, thankfully I was not needing an early night.
Pros: Convenient overnight stop from A89/A20. Parking on site. Helpful reception kindly facilitated late check-in. Room clean, fast aircon heating, firm comfortable bed, good shower, towels, simple tasty breakfast in the bright bar was great value. Workmen were already having their lunch!! Cosy family run small hotel bar restaurant with home made food and friendly cheerful service. Really enjoyed our short visit. We think that “soundproof” refers to exterior noise but we hope that our end room was also soundproof for other guests’ comfort on account of our late arrival. Thank you!!
Pros: Owners very helpful and friendly. Ambience familiale. Super!!
Pros: Having a shower and getting into bed The breakfast was very nice and fresh The Dog was lovely and friendly
Cons: Non-existent welcome
Pros: No tea or coffee no restaurant open to get food

Pros: Wonderful setting! Meyssac is lovely. Mind when you park you don't hit one of the chickens (there are also lots of cats, a goat, sheep and a donkey). Food is fab, the owners and staff super and decor very quirky. Comfortable We just loved it! Will rebook if ever in the area again.
Cons: They didn't have enough staff on for dinner (the restaurant is busy), so service a bit slow.
Pros: Restaurant was very good.
Cons: Entrance to car park was very tight and easy to damage car as you turned in
