Only 6 km away from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Hotel Vue-des-Alpes offers panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Neuchatel. Free Wi-Fi is available. The Vue-des-Alpes features a sauna, a massage room, and a children’s playroom. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine and fine wines. A bus stop with direct connections to La Chaux-de-Fonds is right outside. The local tourism office is in the same building, and a children’s playground and a chapel are next to the Vue-des-Alpes. A ski lift and a ski school are directly opposite, and many hiking and mountain bike trails, as well as cross-country ski runs, are nearby. Free parking and a bicycle rental are available at Hotel Restaurant Vue-des-Alpes.
Pros: Located next to the hiking trail. Friendly staff. Restaurant is ok. Clean room, good bed.
Cons: Great view , but next to road and truck/bike stop. Noisy cars and bikes. Very basic room. Shared showers and toilette below standard
Pros: The breakfast was good. It was nice to be able to help oneself to as much tea or coffee as one wanted. The room was comfortable as were the beds, and very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The soundproofing between rooms is not very good, noises travel very easily.
Pros: Yes very good .
Cons: Everything was perfect
Overlooking the Jura mountain range, a 10-minute drive from Neuchâtel, this rustic-style hotel is situated in Enges. It provides free WiFi in public areas, an à la carte restaurant, and a terrace. The rooms at Hôtel du Chasseur were renovated in April 2016 and feature solid wooden furniture and cable TV. Bathrooms are private or shared. The restaurant serves authentic, typical specialities from the Neuchâtel region. Guests can park their car for free on the grounds of the property. Hôtel du Chasseur is a good starting point to go hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding in the region.
Pros: The hotel has been completely re decorated recently and had everything you need for a short stay. We stayed with our dog who was also made to feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: The service in the restaurant was very slow. The waiting staff kept apologising, clearly the kitchen couldn’t manage the number of guests in the restaurant. Apparently there were two parties of 6 that didn’t order starters so got in front of us. That is an excuse not a reason why the kitchen couldn’t cope. It was a shame as our stay was lovely and the food great when it eventually came.
Pros: Modern suite, spotlessly clean, view on to the country side. Very spacious with a big bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and good value for money. It was game season.
Cons: Expectations after the delicious dinner were high, but breakfast was rather disappointing. Coffee tasted really watery and bad. The 'buffet' wasn't really a buffet and only contained pre-packaged stuff. The suite was missing glasses or a small coffee corner. Only way to drink water was straight from the tap. Communication with the staff was a challenge as they speak no other language than French.
Pros: Very good restaurant.
Pros: The village of Enges takes a bit of getting to, but the trip is lovely and the hotel is in a very peaceful and relaxing spot. The bed was a proper king size, rather than two singles pushed together, and was very comfortable.

Pros: all good
Cons: if you are afraid of dogs you better let the people know
Pros: Fraindly family Excellent break fast
Pros: It is a farmhouse, fully in operation with all that comes with it.
Pros: This does what it says - it's on the farm, about one mile from the nearest restaurant. Fabulous views across the valley, and, despite the proximity to the barn, quiet and not smelly. Our hostess and I managed to communicate with my schoolboy French, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, in the farm kitchen, was more than adequate.
Cons: For an authentic farm stay, nothing. It is in the countryside, so don't expect amenities on your doorstep.
Pros: A very reasoanably priced room in a farm house, a friendly host. Breakfast is in her kitchen with a view onto the pastures.
Pros: Christiane presented a clean and comfortable room for a reasonable price.very handy to Nuchatel barnhoff-day park available .watch speed radar at vandalin_50!!
Cons: The room was 10 metres from the barn.it did smell.fly swat needed in room.limited conversation due to no English.
Pros: not much,,, bed was comfy and wifi was good but that's really the only good bit
Cons: ok here we go,,, its a working farm which i expected so not a surprise,,,but my room was a familt room in the main house,,you had to walk through the family living area to get to you room,( made me feel very uncomfortable),they also had dogs for me not a problem as i like dog but every singler time to walked from outside to in or from inside to out the dogs would bark and could be quite intimidating for some, in the room the was a kettle that didnt work which was pointless really as the was no coffee, out of date tea bags and no milk, breakfast was in the family kitchen and choice was poor

Pros: The hosts were wonderful...friendly and helpful. Our studio was perfect! It allowed us to cook for ourselves and save money. The area was quiet and peaceful. The town was lovely and historic. It is an easy walk to the Bielersee, which was a great place to swim and relax. Of all the places we stayed on our 3 week trip, this was our favorite. We would like to go back and spend more time there.
Cons: We liked everything!
Pros: A great period farmhouse with plenty of charm, great location close to the lake and a very good breakfast
Pros: Very friendly and kind hosts, excellent location, quiet place. The belonging cosy garden with its many beautiful corners is enjoyable at any time of the day. Guests can also buy handmade pottery in the store, which is the part of the main house.
Pros: The owners took the extra time to write us a message attached to the door as they weren't home, we felt really welcomed and free to move around the place. Great visit!
Cons: The kitchen/dining space has been painted with agressive green colours, which impacts negatively on the enjoyment. It all looks not quite cared for, even though it is quite spacious. Mosquito nets in the windows would be useful.
Pros: The location is really near the lake and old Town, the host was really friendly and helpful and I was able to park my car with out any problem 100% recommended
Pros: Hospitality and welcome from the host was great. you feel quickly at home. Nice to have swimming pool and available bike. Close to train station to go around.
Cons: Air conditioning is missing as many places in Swizterland :)
Pros: A lovely BnB is a tastefully renovated house. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. Its located close o the old town - easy walk.
Cons: The pool area lacked pillows for the loungers.
Pros: Charming hosts, great location, easy parking, good Wifi.
Cons: Extremely small bathroom. Typically high Swiss price.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: nice ancient building

Pros: The location and the restaurant attached to the hotel were great, the coffee even better. The room was basic, but clean. The bed very comfortable. It was a good stopping point for our cycling trip and we could store the bikes. Staff friendly. Breakfast good.
Cons: Never again I will stay in this hotel, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Not clean, not safe, very dated, breakfast very poor. Only French speaking Staff.
Pros: Inexpensive, and a good night rest in an acceptable room. Good pizza and friendly service in the restaurant.
Cons: The rooms are a bit run down, but everything works.
Pros: Quiet room but basic.
Pros: Perfectly located in St imier, People working there were very nice.
Cons: The Wifi was not working correctly with my laptop. However it works very well with my mobile phone.
Pros: The Pizza
Cons: I had pre-paid but the msnagemnt said they did not receive payment and so I had to pay again, very very unacceptable. I expect a refund for the duplicate payment immediately. Pros: Love the combination of classic and the modern character. The host Cirillo Fontana is so kind, nice and attentive. He allow us to check in 2 hours ealier. Highly recommended!. TQ Cirillo. Easy free private parking.
Pros: Exactly what I expect from a Htl for one or two nights: Easy booking/check-in/check-out, comfortable, silent, very clean! (seems new), spacious and bright room, bathroom with practical design. Friendly and helpful reception. Breakfast ok. Parking
Pros: This is a lovely hotel, good location and nice view from window, next to a train station. The owner is very hospitality, gave us some suggestion for dinner which is very helpful, there are a lot of grape trees on the hill which is next to the hotel, it's a wonderful stay this hotel
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No AC and too noisy from the train line when you opened the patio door to get air
Pros: Breakfast - excellent array of foods including the boiled eggs which were boiled to perfection! Breads, yogurts, cereals all good too. Easy to come and go to the hotel, plenty of parking, train station close at hand and the Vinotek just round the corner!! Complementary coffee / tea in the lobby.
Cons: Nothing to think of. Shame the bar in the main building is not open.
Pros: Friendly, good breakfast
Pros: Attention from Cyrillo, the owner was second to none. What a nice chap! We basically had the hotel to ourselves for our two night stay. Note that I have not given the 'value for money' a top rating. This is only because everything in Switzerland is expensive. Hotel Fontana is priced to match the local competition. Fantastic views from our balcony. Great rail links. If you are using the train system look up discount advance tickets. We didn't and we paid a more for our train fares!

Pros: The location . IT was a kind of Bed and Breakfast on top of a restaurant ! The staf was very Friendly and the food was excellent ! Hope to visit them next year !
Cons: We did not have television, but that was oké.
Pros: Excellent breakfast downstairs. Family owned and operated hotel/resturaunt . ALL THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! We ate at the hotel both nights we were there and the food was amazing.
Cons: We left the windows open in our room at night and the smoke from the people eating at the tables downstairs came right in-closed windows and it was fine.
Pros: Rooms above a restaurant in a cute small village. Our family of 4 had two very large rooms next to each other with the floor to ourselves. It was very hot during our stay, we had to leave the windows open, and even though the restaurant is directly downstairs and has outdoor seating with noisy patrons, for some reason (maybe we were so tired), we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was simple, adequate, yum and more than sufficient for our needs. The waiter (we did not get this name but he was originally from Montenegro) was amazing, he took such good care of us even carrying our heavy suitcases upstairs to our rooms. Hotel is steps from the lake where swimming is possible and where there is a ferry service.
Pros: Great location, fabulous views, friendly staff, great outside bar.
Cons: Nothing iit was good.

Cons: Very nice view of the lake and Erlach. Food was delicious and attention as well.
Pros: Food was excellent - fillet se perche !
Cons: Everything was good nothing to complain.
Pros: Very friendly and polite staff. Efficient check in. They let me use their phone at the reception to make a local call to my friend, which was very nice. Another nice touch was a large bottle of complimentary water in the room as well as a try with an apple, Italian plums, which I love and 2 individually wrapped cookies. The room was very clean and it had partial view of the lake and the promenade, which was nice. The bed and the bedding were very comparable with extra tube like pillows good for your neck. The bathroom was pretty large with very nice toiletries. I especially liked the textures and sent of the lotion which the hotel provided. The cute feature were the sayings posted on the glass door to the bathroom. I couldn’t understand everything since my German is not the greatest but there was a lot of wisdom in them and I liked it how it was done. The breakfast was also very good with various options, fresh fruit, juices, cold cuts, variety of cheeses, cereal, good bread and rolls and also eggs made to order. Coffee and tea was served by the staff. Nice views from the restaurant and patio. Also when we checked out we got 2 bottles of water for the road, which was very kind. The grounds are lovely and well maintained with beautiful flowers. Very picturesque location, peaceful and serene.
Cons: When I was trying to book a room there was only one option left for us. The room itself was rather small but still very comfortable. I wanted to book this hotel for 2 nights but unfortunately only one night was available.

Pros: Very friendly owner/proprietor.
Cons: A little difficult to identify, but the town is very small, so not an issue.

Pros: Cosy place run by very friendly and welcoming staff
Pros: Nice quiet location. Very clean room. Great dinner. Very friendly staff.
