Located outside of the town but very reasonably priced accomodation.
Easy to find. Low price. Car parking. Bed was extremely hard. Only 1 bath towel between 3 of us. Couldn't connect to wi-fi.
good breakfast, clean room. facilities very basic. lack of baby cot despite your confirmation email day before arrival. Farce when they then supply high chairs for breakfast.. Booking stated 1year old and we were expected to slep her in bunk which stated MUST NOT be used for Children Under 6
Extremely basic(box with bed+shower...). Nothing wrong with being basic(it was clean) but perhaps this could be conveyed more clearly on website. Needed twin beds, but no mention on website. Double very inconvenient, and bunkbed not suitable.
Excellent value for money Bed could be a little softer
The Staff are friendly and helpful, the location is simple to find with Buffalo Grill 500 mtrs away and McDonalds just 100 mtrs below. The car park is adequate and its a quiet location.
Nice locatiion, lovely grounds and good continental breakfast,.
Extremely pleasant staff & comfortable surroundings. 200 years old but internally modern.
quiet location with easy access to main road. excellent staff and great food. best 3star i have stayed in in France.
The hotel is in a very beautiful building and the grounds are lovely too. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As a room only option this would be a reasonable choice. The bar and restaurant were overpriced. The restaurant setting was very nice but the quality of the dinner was fair only and quite highly priced and the wine was awful! WiFi did not work in our room. We stayed at another hotel the following night where for half the price we had an excellent and far superior meal and for 20% of the price a very nice house wine. I would recommend the hotel on a room only casis and suggest going into Chateaubriant to eat.
The room was excellent and comfortable. The restaurant was the same. The breakfast was good value. Staff were very helpful. There was no lift and first circular staircase was difficult with cases. There appeared to be a general shortage of staff.
Although we had a lack of French language, the staff were very patient in ascertaining our requirements. For the price it was very well decorated and the guest areas spacious. Rooms are on the small side, but more than sufficient for a one night stay. The town of Segre was something of a disappointment. Although the hotel does have a restaurant, we had intended to have a meal in town, but although we walked all around found nothing that appealed to us.
This fairly new hotel is ideal for those touring the area. It is clean, well-run and has a good restaurant at reasonable prices. Because of the nature of the hotel (see above), it is functional and therefore would not appeal to those looking for atmosphere and character. The internet directions were not good and made the hotel difficult to find.
