bathroom equipment and consumables poor; Showergel = empty Waste-bin = pedal mechanism not working
big, quiet hotel with modern comfortable room. everything was good
The room is a good size. The location is far from the city centre and the bus shuttle is not working frequently. We booked the hotel because it offers bus shuttle to the city centre but very disappointed with the timing of the schedule.
Very nice room, spacious, very nice staff far from the city center
Durty room (carpets, bathroom not clean). Very noisy high way nearby.
Very good staf^ helpful! Rooms excellent& clean very comfortable very big! Super breakfast! Free parking! big clean beautiful
Nice room, good food, friendly caring staff :) ... for a very good price!!! Transportation. (The website mentions a courtesy bus connecting the hotel and the city center, necessary since the hotel is located on the very outskirts of Verona. However, the bus only has 8 seats (!), and it is impossible to get on, as the hotel provides accommodation for hundreds, and there is no way to reserve seats beforehand.)
Very comfortable hotel and super staff who went out of their way to assist us and make our stay very enjoyable. Better travelers with autos as the location is on a super highway and a few kilometers from the center of the city
location, spaious rooms 4* hotel with slippers for a charge - very unusual, very expensive internet
transport service to opera
Clean hotel. Nice size rooms Bath tub/ shower was dangerously slippery
Modern smart hotel, freindly helpful staff, on outskirts of pretty town, - plenty of parking. Need a car
very friendly and helpful personnel, nice room and location. Easy for shopping
The rooms were beautifully furnished (modern) and very comfortable. If you are travelling by car it is a very convenient location for a city trip. It's a five minutes' drive to the city centre.
The hotel is situated not far from the main italian highway, so it is a perfect place to stay when you travel to the south of Italy and need one night break. Very friendly staff. You can visit the Mantova´s center, which is almost 5 km far, so better to have a car.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel is 10 euro ride from the centre of town which in it's self is not a problem but makes you reliant on taxis.
It is new, the rooms are excellent, the staff are especially attentive and the breakfast buffet is good there is nothing around it apart fron ipercoop
Let us choose between single or double room junior suite. Very practical and good rate for seeing some very beautiful spots in Italy. 3 cockroaches hanging in the curtains. We also asked whether we could borrow a pack of matches to light our 1 year old daughters birthday candle in the room. This was declined, no reason given. Internet was down for 1.5 hours, although the manager was friendly about it. I don't see how this can happen in clearly a business oriented hotel. On the way out, we were presented with a bill 100 Euro more than what booking.com offered, and after clarifying, the non-used minibar charges were dropped, as were the inaccurate room charges. The mistake was glossed over with a.... "oops, here is your booking.com invoice." Hmmmm...
hotel was great - modern, clean, good staff was very difficult to find
Could not fault the facilities and staff -- and excellent hotel to stay at. I would recommend it readily. It was excellent in alal respects
friendly staff, decent breakfast, great rooms
The fresh design of the room
Central position with secure parking Big effort on design but many faults. Some staff unfriendly. Poor breakfast.
Quite clean rooms and very kind and friendly staffs. It is a bit far from station, but it's worth.
You don't have culture or art or history as a category - this is what this hotel is best for.
Friendly staff, very nice clean design all over the hotel, clean rooms. Easy to stay.
fantastic minimalist design, location, easy parking check out at 10.00 :(((
Breakfast excellent even eggs and bacon. Rooms immaculate. Reception staff very helpful and booked us a table at the local Trattoria just behind the hotel. Request a room away from the front, we had to move for the second night as we had hardly any sleep with all the traffic noise, we live in the country so not used to traffic.
The attitude of the staff, which appeared to be that the customer is always wrong until proven otherwise. The door jamb fell off the bathroom door onto my mother's head. The member of staff informed us that she would check with housekeeping to see if the door jamb was loose when the room had been cleaned in the morning. There were no blankets either on the bed or in the room. The reception staff recommended a local restaurant for dinner, which served overcooked food. The restaurant owner tried to convince us that Italian food was supposed to be overcooked and proceeded to charge us for the food that we had not eaten.
very friendly and helpful staff, cheap bicycle hire from hotel, big comfortable modern room and bathroom no internet facilities either in the hotel or the town (Mantua). 1.5 km walk to train station.
The reception and accommodation staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well appointed, very clean and tidy. It was abit far from Verona. Some of the restuarant staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly - everything was a task to them. Also the hotel is a tour bus location with up to 3 x 50 seater tour buses being accommodated per night. These numbers affected what was available for breakfast each morning - some mornings certain foods were available, other mornings not so.
I liked the fact that the staff speaks English (otherwise I'd be lost) and the rooms were pretty nice, too. Probably the breakfast... there wasn't enought choice of food. and not enough...
Nice decorating - very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good apart from the coffe machine which did not work properly. However, the personnel did what they could to mend it. Would be a good idea to buy a new one! We had dinner at the restaurant, but the food was not specifically good considering the price. The waiter looked very sad all the time!
Excellent Hotel .Sometime I'll get back to your hotel If you can, add tomato or cucumber for breakfast
Rooms very well equipped qnd comfortable The second evening we did not get good sevice in the restaurant
Service, food, room and helpfull staf
cost/ benefit very good !!! Good instalations.
The Breakfast was very poor.
The hotel is pretty close to Verona. The dinning room looks nice. The room was clean. The staff was not very friendly. The air condition was weak.
very comfortable and calm place to stay installing coffee/tea vending machine shall be considered
free wi fi connection in the hotel
Hotel restaurant was not available during our stay
Was easy to find and while on outskirts of town was less than 5 minutes from parking in the historical centre. Pleasant dining and breakfast room.
Easy to find, big parking area, easy accesible poor air conditioning system in the room
The restaurant was excellent, in my opinion it is the strong point of the Hotel, the rooms and its amenities were very comfortable too. The staff was very friendly both at the reception and at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
the kindness of the staff was very good a dissabled person can not reach the toilet because the door opens on the wrong side.
The restaurant was fully booked and receptioon did not warn this. I had to go for a walk to find food.
Very comfortable, very good meal, kind welcome;
Good value for money - Staff young and motivated - Good breakfast - Location not on Industrial Estate which is good for the price - adequate car park and access good to A22 Mantova North. Restraunt at Hotel and another one within 200mts. Air conditioning very noisy - window could not be opened on 1st floor as ledge access not good for security - get a room on the floors above with no ledge.
Staff friendly No restaurant open, poor breakfast selection, hotel lacked character
very good location, excellent restaurant no
Personal attitude and excelent service! Professional staff fluently speaking English and being able to find answers to different questions. The best service among 5 hotels during our staying in Italy.
Rooms fine. Staff excellent and breakfast reasonable. Unfortunately the Manager of the restaurant attached to the hotel treated us very rudely when we wanted to eat only a small meal there.
Room is comfortable and has satellite TV. TV set is very small.
everything was fine and the personnel thanks god was speaking english which is not very often met in a rural Italy maybe there should be some changes in the breakfast menu
We found this a convenient place to stay for our visit to Mantova and it was clean and modern. Staff was very helpful Noise from kitchen on interior rooms from street on exterior room we changed to.
good brekfast, hotel staff
the style of the hotel. the water in the swimmingpool was too cold.
Everything. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. The restaurant is excellent with a great wine choices. The location. Even with GPS, it's a little bit tricky to find it.
Beautiful and romantic ancient villa, very well preserved and converted into a modern hotel. Large and well furnished rooms, wooden floor and ceiling and some "relic walls". Large and comfortable bathroom. Small but nice pool to relax. Good location to visit Verona and Garda lake. Better lighting of rooms would be useful on daytime, because of ancient small windows. Breakfast is good but could be improved with more fresh products in spite of boxed cereals and jams. Parkyard close to the pool uncomfortable: people were sunbathing near cars...
Hotel is very clean and staff is very helpful and professional. Restaurant is excellent Although excellent the restaurant is very expensive. Hotel is located in a small village with no alternative than staying there in the evenings
Dinner. Pool. It was a bit removed, too far away from Mantova. Should have bigger TV, and standard european channels like Eurosport etc.. Bit of traffic outside window.
This hotel was excellent in every respect. The staff were very helpful all the time and despite our late night arrival still went out of their way to assist us with food and drinks. The facilities are first class, immaculately clean and very comfortable. This hotel was very good value for money. We loved the place and will go back in the near future.
The bedroom was wonderful. The swimming-pool was very nice. The bed was unconfortable. The coffee was not good.
Nice pool and very nice rooms.
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
security of the property traffic noise
the accommodation very nice, bright new, modern, comfortable, spacious.... location - bit far from anything - needing car as we used it just as a stop not having restaurant or being close to one bit difficult, but shop quite close.
The Hotel is brand new and rich of high quality services/facilities. The car navigator could not find the place due to main street not yet completed. We feel that the internet access should have been free and not restricted in time.
well laid out and comfortable rooms
Clean, spacious modern rooms, good inhouse restaurant with broad menu, ample parking space. Swimming pool closed for maintenance, no information on the hotel and services in the rooms. Internet not for free.
Simply the best hotel by far from the whole of the Verona region. I have been traveling to this part of the world for buisness for the past year and I have tried many hotels. The staff are the friendliest bunch of people you are ever likely to meet and this hotel is topnotch on all fronts. Excellent restaurant, the hotel opened in March/April 2009, so very modern and very clean rooms, the only downside is its isolated location. But this is no problem if you have a hire car, as the road network in this area is good. I have stayed there quite a few times now, and I hope to return there quite a few times more! The Wifi internet was free in 2009, now you have to pay. What a shame!
Quiet, easy to find, spacious, modern The restaurant food was mediocre, but limited opportunities in the vicinity.
We had a little difficulty finding the Hotel but the lady who ran the hotel could not have been more helpful. The room was lovely and very large with a great view. The breakfast was great - lots of lovely homemade cakes. If we were in this area again we would definitely go back.
It was a perfect place for romance...... very nicely decorated, newly rebuilt!
Charming place and excellent hotel-holder, Ms. Anna, who had precious directions about the area.
Very friendly staff. Lovely restored villa. Make sure you have a map - a little tricky to find.
Very friendly atmosphere. Big, spacious rooms, well furnished, big bathroom. Breakfast buffet with wonderful, homemade cakes. The place is difficult to find and you cannot really walk to the center. But once you get there, you won't regret that choice.
Very clean well run establishment. Owner Anna could not have been more helpful with local information including dining suggestions both in Mantova and nearby (her recommendations of Grifone Bianco in Mantova and Nuova Osteria in nearby Tripoli were excellent).Building is a mix of old and new with country villa structure but with modern quirky decor (eg old ceiling supported by clean iron joists and colourful lighting). Good breakfast including home made cakes. Large room sizes. Building could do with a dining room as I found it a little strange to eat breakfast in what is essentially the entrance hall. Location not the easy to find and immediate area not that attractive. Quite a busy road and junction outside. But as a base for Montova it is very good.
Central location. Quiet. Good air conditioning and shower. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful service in pre-booking taxis, hire car, flight seats. Lack of drawer space.
The location was excellent, right in the centre of the town. The cheap quality bed sagged in the centre, giving us an uncomfortable sleepless night. Only a single topsheet, no bedcover. There were no proper curtains so one could not keep out the street lights. Noisy aircon. No safe. The two spare pillows in the cupboard were dirty and lacked pillowcases. Likewise the duvet. No satellite tv or English programs. No lift (we were 3rd floor.) The room was dusty. Altogether an uncomfortable stay. Check in had to be at certain times only. Not poor service, just no service. The only breakfast offered was a drink and sweet cake. 2* hotel at 4* plus price.
Detailed renovation and modernization of an old building. Located on the main piazza in town. A most colorful surrounding with many historical sights Not for the light of sleep - a very noisy piazza, even with windows shut
Beautifully appointed room, and very comfortable; top class interior design The room is serviced only by the family restaurant opposite. They are charming and very attentive people, but it's not quite the same as having concierge/receptionist service etc
Excellent location. Spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water. Good heating system - needed in the depths of winter! The suite does not have a comfortable chair - let alone a sofa - since there is no space for it. The balcony with 2 chairs can't be used during the winter. Therefore "duplex double" is a fairer description of room 4. No pictures or rugs. Furniture reminiscent of Ikea. Since this is a Residenza and not a hotel - so no facilities except access to the restaurant after 10am for breakfast - I think this accommodation is over-priced.
The historical position of the Residenza and its restaurant. Excellent view over the old Piazza Erbe.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very conveniently situated for sight-seeing, shopping and excellent restaurants. There is no elevator, and it is very noisy.
Position of hotel is central, near restuarants and lake. Close to major points of interest eg.ducale palace.Modern renovation with airconditioning. Stairs only
Room was brilliant and beautiful and restaurant was fantastic. Location could not be better.
Very warm welcome and very helpful staff. Superb location. The hotel does not have a reception area nor any in-hotel staff, and it is not possible to enter the hotel without a key for the front door. However, one has to go to a restaurant across the Piazza Erbe to register and get one's key etc., and there is no indication to that effect on the door of the hotel. Finding out about that on arrival could be quite difficult from someone who does not speak italian. A second 'problem' is that there is no phone or other means of communication with the outside world in the rooms. Should anything happen, I guess one would be in some difficulty...
