Fantastic place to stay, even without the snow. Views brilliant, rooms very clean. The only problem we had was arriving after the suggested check in time. The recorded message is in French so was hard to access the building. Suggest calling hotel for access code if you are arriving late.
Very comfortable and good value for the money, especially in the off season.
excellent. great location, brilliant for families, not like other ski resorts, loud and busy. ideal for us, definately return. no
The hotel is well positioned for the area, is relatively new and comfortable. The views are very nice. We stayed in a room for 2/3, which had bunk beds and a sofabed. There was also a small kitchen area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen area in this size of room is only suitable for basic catering.
Warm friendly welcome and breakfast with quality local produce. Unique and stylish decor.
The 'Domaine De La Tannerie' is almost the best hotel in France we've ever stayed in: appealingly arranged rooms with different topics (our room: India), a nice garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi, very kind and helpful owners and an excellent breakfast! -
Everything about this place was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and furnished with care and attention to detail. The pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room facilities were amazing - we enjoyed a private swim in an illuminated pool before enjoying 20 minutes in the hot tub beneath the stars. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful and we were made to feel very much at home in their beautiful property. Prades is a lovely small town in a beautiful setting and has a wonderful atmosphere. C'est magnifique! That we could only stay for one night! We will definitely return!
it was a nice setting, lovely view, the staff were friendly, the rooms were small but comfortable enough, the jacuzzi was nice the price
beautiful alpine scenery, nice landscape, quit nice room, good facilities like pool, sauna. very good Pizza imbis in Pyréneés 2000. Might be a good hotel in hig season for skiing Please show a warning on web pages for low season (October): No body on the desk, desk when we arrived. Keys were on the desk in an envelope. Restaurent of La Pradella closed. The entire village Bolquére was out of service. Next open restaurant available in a distance of 20 KM (Spain). Machine for for soft drinks and sweets were put out of service (power cable was cut).
Apartmant was large enough, well heated and had the basics I think we missed out on the guidelines...the apartment had no linen and towels when we arrived with no welcome pack/instructions
It was clean - and a very good price The inability to see (from a website) exactly where the hotel was in the town
Breakfast The bed is uncomfortable and pillows poor. Did not sleep well the three nights I was there
In the middle of town very handy for all restaurants, bars and shops, parking is available but must be booked but plenty of car parks close by. The swimming pool was a bonus and rooftop jacuzzi was great with lovely views.. No shower curtain
Location, in center of Font Romeu, is convenient. Panoramic view from sun deck on top floor.
super views, pool, jacuzzi and gym on 6th floor none
Quietness, the bating facilities (Sauna, jaccuzi etc.) The common sitting room with bar closing at 10 p.m.
Ideal for a weekend ski break Charge for garage parking, but the parking in the town is limited so it was worth having
Very good attention of the staff none
It has a very good central position, good access to the cable car Heating is a bit hit and miss
The setting of the hotel is beauteful. The surroundings are very impressive The room was very small. The hotel is very old. There is no buffet breakfast and everythung seems like an old people house.
I liked its location in a beautiful French village, its surroundings (the river beside, green mountains, nature everywhere...)
It was quiet Breakfast was extremely poor for the price of it, we wanted to cancel breakfast the night before and we were told it was too late because it had been already bought for us, and the morning after we discovered that we were only getting a croissant and a bun.
central, and very clean
We enjoyed the resteaurant especially None
The reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The room with a balcony was lovely, with mountain views. The location was absolutely brilliant.
The setting itself is comfortable and welcoming. The staff is very warm and helpful. The rooms were commodious, comfortable and clean. It is nicely situated in relation to the rest of Vernet les Bains. I think the reception sign needs to be more prominent.
Warm welcome upon arrival. Quiet spacious rooms with balcony/terrace and relaxing common garden area. Good pool, perfect for unwinding after a strenuous hike in the mountains. Dated rooms (furniture, wall paper, etc). Value for money was low given remote location and decor. Breakfasts quite expensive for simple buffet, with no hot cooked options.
Big rooms, booked ahead get a good price for them. Would be good to have your own balcony, though, given distance from town.Very peaceful, hotel has games room and good lounge, too. Wi-fi not available in rooms, have to go to public areas of hotel. Tiny TV in rooms.
There was a lot of space in the room, also a balcony. The garden (pool)was nice although we didn't get the chance to use the facilities. The dining room and breakfast were nice. The room was smelly. I think it came from the carpet and no air conditionning. We had to sleep with the windows closed. The decor was outdated. For the price we had better elsewhere, even in more popular areas.
Good location, convenient design of rooms, nice staff. Very clean rooms, beautiful garden.
Although in need of a refurbishment we found the Mas Fleuri to be a very friendly and relaxed hotel and Stephan, manager, was very helpful.
We had 2 adjoining rooms which was a perfect configuration for travel with our teenage daughter. Each had a separate area with mini-fridge, bathroom and (small) vestibule, so it almost felt like a small apartment. A small outdoor patio was delightful for an afternoon drink, though we could just as easily have sat at the very nice tables around the lovely pool. The host could not have been more helpful in terms of recommendations, from local restaurants and sights (several times researching places for me online). Cold drinks were available at all hours. The location was great - just below the uber-charming village of Vernet-les-Bains, a terrific base for exploring the Eastern Pyrenees. The only problem was that the windows didn't open! Once you lower the heavy gate to keep the morning sun out, it became stuffy. This was only a problem on the second of our two nights (the first night was cool), and because we were leaving, we didn't ask for assistance - so perhaps there's a solution we never learned about. I should also mention that breakfast was 12 euros - a little steep, we thought, for a buffet that was certainly a nice spread.
Not having a bar or restaurant was limiting and tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been appreciated
Location, pool, staff None, really
1.)Very Romantic Appartment luxurious appartments. 3.) In the Village Centre. 3.) Nice WiFi Connection. 4.) Free parking Spots when you search for them. -
The suite / apartment was well appointed They demanded 300 euros security deposit on check-in. Not mentioned when booking online
We loved the central location in Font Romeu. The panoramic views were exceptional and the decor beautiful. The hotelier was very friendly and helpful, and answered queries by e-mail prior to our arrival. The additional cost of car parking seemed expensive. Also there was the possibility of a further additional cost for cleaning the apartment but we opted to clean it ourselves instead.
It was convenient for the ski slopes. It is very shabby.
The view. Hotels like this are fine if you get them at a really rock-bottom rate, but for the amount we paid I wasn't expecting mouldy bathrooms, chipped paintwork, tired DIY decor and fittings that come off in your hand. The whole place needs a serious make over, or a big cut in its prices.
Very clean and excellent bethroom. The hotel itself felt a little austere.
Nothing. I would recommend you remove it from your website. I accept that no 2 star hotel is going to be luxurious or well equipped however the Bel Angle was very dirty with stained restaurant walls and peeling wallpaper in the room. The whole place smelled of cooking fat; all of our clothes smelled of this for the rest of our stay in France. The only reason we stayed the night is because there was a festival in the town and all other accommodation was fully booked. It was so bad, we were prepared to lose the cost of the booking and pay for an alternative. I would definitely not recommend it to a friend or colleague (or even someone I don't like).
Despite the age of the hotel it was kept spotless. Whilst we appreciate that it is a two star hotel we did think that it is in need of refurbishment.
Convenience Difficult to find in the town
Unfortunately there was nothing to recommend this hotel. We only stayed 4 nights when we had booked for 5. A great disappointment as we know this area well. Reception was very dark and the receptionist unwelcoming. The room was very small with uncomfortable beds and a tiny window (no balcony) so that it appeared dreary at all times of the day.
Quality of food
I did like nothing. The bathroom was dirty- I have found hair into the bathtube. This is the wors hotel of my life.
We chose this hotel because its location was convenient for us (close to the Saint Michel de Cuixa Abbey) and the price was ok. The staff served dinner more quickly so we could be in time for our concert. Dinner and breakfast were not so good for the price they charged.
right next door to the municipal lido. very clean and the staff were very accommodating. bit basic
Staff very friendly and efficient. The towels were old and worn. Very noisy room, particularly in the morning.
Going out Basic doesnt describe it, the amount charged which is excessive does not reflect the value for money.
The hotel was portrayed as being in a much different location - there was a sports centre next door and not a friendly ambience compared to many other similar priced hotels on our trip. The value for money was not good & was the oldest room on our 3 week, 15 hotel holiday.
If they stay open out of season, they need to provide the service. First room offered, bed unmade.
The hotel was clean and friendly They advertised widely a fixed preced menu including drinks that they could not deliver.
It's a friendly, non-luxurious hotel, easy for families. Good restaurant, not very expensive.
The hotel was warm, comfortable and inviting after a days skiing, with helpful, friendly and obliging staff. The views from our room balcony were lovely, and an explore of the walled village at night fabulous. There was nothing that we did not like about the hotel
On the main highway, easy to find, convenient for our travels. Small room. On their web site, the location of the hotel is incorrrect, almost went to the wrong town.
helpful staff, nice restaurant, clean room,
The views from the dining room and the closeness to a major historical site Parking difficult on edge of busy main road. Attitude of staff the least welcoming of all six hotels booked through you. Poor and grumpy service in restaurant and food of lower standard for price than at other hotels and restaurants visited.
I loved the mountains. We were there in summer though, would love to see the place in winter. This hotel is the only place in the area that could had a open restaurant. We drove around looking for a cheaper place to eat, but the hotel was the only open place.
Ease of getting to several ski resorts The receptionist was rude and smoked inside the hotel, even though their was sign clearly marked 'no smoking' The hotel was very tired and had not seen a coat of paint in at least 20 years. The beds were very uncomfortable and needed new mattresses. The breakfast was OK but the hot food was cold and I would not order the Coq au Van – awful.
