Pros: Fantastic breakfast, friendly hosts. The place itself is lovely and although it's a little bit of a ways to walk from the centre but well worth the effort. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
Pros: The owner was amazingly welcoming, and it was the first time in my hotel's experience when I feel genuine care from the staff.
Pros: Very nicely designed room with well nice special touches (bluetooth speaker, coffee maker in the room), very good breakfast, warm welcome by the owner.

Pros: Very nice staff Clean, comfy and high class
Cons: I like to open my window at night. Not possible. Ventilation didnt work like it should.
Pros: The bed was nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom was too small. It was very uncomfortable. It was even difficult to wear back the clothes after shower without dashing against the cold walls. Though this is understandable for an old prestigious building like Grand Tammer hotel. The room definitely requires new temperature control system. It got a bit chilly in the morning. The room looked very gloomy because of the color chosen for the walls. Not a personal favorite. The breakfast was okayish. The management was clearly not prepared for Father’s Day breakfast. The problem was that maybe all the people came at the same time. Clearly more staff was needed. There was chaos and no places to sit. We expected a lot better from Raddison Blu. It was once my favorite place. Hoping for the best.
Pros: Excellent location! Enjoyed the breakfast in the fancy dining area. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.
Pros: This is a beautiful art deco building, very close to the centre of Tampere and to the rapids. My room was large and comfortable, and for 10 euros extra, I had a bath tub. I appreciated being right near the river and to the historical former industrial area. Breakfast was tasty and varied. The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Cons: It was perfect!
Pros: Breakfast was rich. Location very nice.
Cons: The coffee could be better. Filling the bread did not always work.
Pros: Amazing old building, well renovated with character and stunning retro style. The hotel offer one of the best breakfast and you definitely should look at the old pictures on the walls.

Pros: The location, Comfortable, Room Property
Cons: Room smell is not well
Pros: Great apartment! The balcony was spacious. Awesome kitchen and living room. Having a sauna in there is a plus! Basically feels like home!
Cons: The other room with single beds might get too warm during summer, might be good to have some fans or A/C options in the future.
Pros: Clean, private sauna, staff very helpful
Cons: Nothing wrong
Pros: Everything was as expected. The apartment was exactly as showm om the photos. Overall our stay was pleasant.
Cons: Not the property fault, but just for information. There are road construction works next to the building. Also parking is difficult during the day, as you can park next to the building max for 4 hours.

Pros: Room was ok
Cons: 1. Staff super unfriendly 2. Restaurants in the Hotel value for money is the worst I’ve ever experienced (and I travel a lot due to work). Waiting for (regular) food from the menu with the restaurant maybe 60% full for over 45min is unacceptable.
Pros: Nice hotell, good location, good breakfast.
Cons: I was there such a short time. Didn’t notice anything I didn’t like :)
Pros: Spa ! Restaurants ! Location and room view plus minibar
Pros: the sauna ,the swimming pool the room the breakfast and the frans Marie restaurant.
Cons: I would prefer a bed with a hard mattress I would prefer the swimming pool opened before 17.00
Pros: The bed was nice and comfy and the bath was nice. The balcony and the view from it was nice.
Cons: There were no croissants at the breakfast buffet
With a stay at Dream Hostel & Hotel in Tampere, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Kaleva Church and Tampere Cathedral. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a computer station, and express check-out.
Cons: The hotel look dull, dark with less white light-bulbs (imagine.. it looks like old hospital with that scene). Only one dryer each in the female and male bathroom. Ofcause, can't effort number of guess. Room's walls are too thin an you can hear every single thing from next room! Cold temp and dark again in the bedroom. Warm hostel can do more than these things. Please avoid.
Pros: Nice staff.
Pros: The interior is designed with love and the room even smell like a finnish sauna! In the hotel there is a separate kitchen and lounge. The breakfast was included and really tasty and various.
Cons: The double room was really small and during our stay (3 nights) nobody ever came to clean the bath or make the bed. Furthermore, it is quite noisy because of the ventilation.
Pros: The facilities Staff was friendly It was comfortable
Cons: There should be a board that indicates its location. It was a bit confusing .
Pros: I really liked this hotel! The location close to the university and the city centre was perfect, I liked all the little details made for the quests to feel more comfortable. The breakfast was nice, room very clean, bed was comfortable, altogether a good experience :)

Pros: Overall room was nice looking. Breakfast was really good
Cons: A bit of dust here and there
Pros: Breakfast and staff friendliness
Cons: Room service was awful! My room had only bed covers done and no sign of real cleaning! Room service charges is bloody expensive and for loyal members they offer water! It’s not a joke- water for free! I get a free minibar with Aclub.
Pros: great stuff . great hotel
Cons: no room service on sunday
Pros: Great location and staff. Breakfast was exceptional! The hotel has everything you need including Sauna and Gym. The room was fine if a little basic but had everything I needed. Bathroom smelt a little but not enough for me to complain.
Pros: Very convenient
Cons: No air conditioning was working. In Finland, no heater is disaster. My room was in 8th floor. View is perfect.
When you stay at Norlandia Care Tampere Hotel in Tampere, you'll be in the suburbs, a 4-minute drive from Kaleva Church and 5 minutes from Tampere Cathedral. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Weel equipped, clean and spacious room. 15 min drive to the city center. Good breakfast.
Cons: Price too high for this hotel category.
Pros: Breakfast was good but it was like eating in a hospital canteen. Atmostphere was not great.
Cons: It was like staying in a hospital wing and that made the "hotel" feel odd. Also, the location was not great. One defenitely needs a car and the parking was not free (except during the night).
Pros: Cheerful check-in, clean, comfy and spacious.
Cons: Location was quite distant from Tampere and was very quiet after business hours. We had to drive everywhere.
Cons: Restaurant kitchen for dinner closed too soon
Pros: This hotel is in the hospital district and there are other offices in the building. The rooms were small but nice and clean. The shower was a little strange as it floods the bathroom and there is a wiper to wipe the water away which being British I was not used to so got water everywhere. There is not much around but there is food available in the hotel which is buffet style and relaxed.
Cons: The bathroom facilities with the shower as I was not used to the open shower and flooded the bathroom.
With a stay at Hotel Kauppi in Tampere, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Kaleva Church and Tampere Cathedral. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Extensive and varied buffet breakfast, with fresh coffee continously. I remember the apple pie for dessert, the black pudding (which I love) for starters, and the smoked salmon. The sizable sauna is open between 7 and 10 pm. I was there for a conference in Tampere Hall, which is at a pleasant 15 minute walk through a domestic area and a park. The lady in the lobby was friendly and informative.
Cons: The hotel might have had a stack of business cards at the desk in the lobby. I always grab one and put in my back pocket. In case I want to take a taxi back I can show that to the taxi driver.
Pros: Nice, cosy, clean and comfortable hotel. Not exactly in the center but good parking places and bus stop is just netx to the hotel. Excellent breakfast. A refrigerator and a kettle in every room offer a possibility to make small snack in the evening because there is no all-day restaurant in the hotel. But there is a gasoline station with small cafe and shop right next door. Also reasonable pricing!
Pros: Everythong ok, just what I needed
Pros: Very nice service/reception, the breakfast had everything I needed, the coffee was really good and I loved the sauna!
Cons: wished for a bit more fresh fruits in the morning but that's just a very small complain :)
Pros: The personnel was very friendly and willing to help! Breakfast was excellent. The location was fine and there were some nice restaurants also in the neighbourghood.
Pros: Very lovely and helpful staff. Really nice. A happy Austrian recommend this hotel:))))
This self-service hotel is 250 metres from Hatanpää Manor and Park. Set in a refurbished factory building, it offers free parking and free WiFi access. Central Tampere is 1.5 km away. A flat-screen TV, microwave and a small fridge are standard room facilities at Hotelli Ville. All include tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom, while some have a fully equipped kitchenette. Restaurant Ville & Vilja, located in the same building as the hotel, offers meals and drinks. There is also an on-site car rental company, where hotel guests enjoy discounts. Tampere Train Station is 5 minutes' drive from Hotelli Ville. Public buses serving Tampere Airport and the city centre stop 50 metres away. Särkänniemi Amusement Park is within 10 minutes' drive.
Pros: The room was good and well equipped, the bathroom was good too. We had clear information about how to get in the room timely .
Cons: The room was not spacious. There were stairs. It was not clear where the reception is in order to ask about breakfast facilities in the morning. In the afternoon we arrived there was nobody all around and we met no member of the staff during our stay.
Pros: Good price quality ratio. Comfortable for a family.
Pros: Nice location to explore Tampere
Cons: Too many stairs!
Pros: Comfortable place to stay, with free parking and just in front of the supermarket. Quite comfortable when traveling by car.
Pros: Very clean and well equipped rooms. Cozy bar.

A fridge and tea and coffee facilities are found in all accommodation options. Apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, private balcony or terrace and a private bathroom. Guest rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Guests at Kärppälän Rustholli can relax in the sauna or rent a bicycle to explore the surroundings. Children will enjoy the playground in the garden. Lempäälä town centre is 6.5 km away. Idea Park Shopping Centre, with its shops and restaurants, is a 15-minute drive from the property.
Pros: Everything Else.
Cons: Lämmitys = Heating Could be kept at Minimum 21 °C as especially visitors from warm and dry climates and even occasional Finn's with winter/frost-damages may not do well early in the morning below. This not a dislike, rather, a constructive suggestion. Kiitos , Thank You.
Pros: Nothing else fine place to stay very good owner Mr Pauli Impola recommend the place nice peaceful beatiful countryside hideaway. Goid hiking closeby.
Pros: If you are looking for relaxing yourself near a lake it is your place. It is a good way to feel the finish nature in a cottage with really good views.
Cons: It is really isolated
Pros: Beautiful location, I should have planned for more time to enjoy the sauna by the lake. Very friendly owners.
Pros: really very quiet and peaceful beautiful nature very helpful host
Cons: only one bathroom in the house, not good for 8 sleeping places
Pros: The area is very beautiful.
Cons: We used the villa only as an intermediate stop in our way from the North to Helsinki. It is most similar to the hostel rather then villa: no separate sleeping rooms.
Pros: Wonderful environment, silent, nice beds and comfortable. Didn't miss anything. About 15 mins drive to Lempäälä.
Pros: I recommend this property if you want a quite place where to stay and enjoy the sunset near the fire! The sauna is the additional point
A refurbished hotel right in the centre of Tampere, directly opposite the railway station, with stylish rooms and a popular restaurant.
Pros: Everything was ok. The stuff was very helpful and nice. Tasty porridge.
Pros: Hotel is nice! Clean, helpful staff and good breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately, during our stay there was major construction on the main road, which made the whole area unattractive. Also, the hotel was flooded with concert goers which made some things (e.g., breakfast) inconvenient.
Pros: proximity to center and station
Pros: It was right across the street from the railway station. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The fact that the receptionists couldn't tell us much about the city nor that the tourist information centre was closed.
A stylish hotel with everything you need in an excellent location. Friendly service and a peaceful atmosphere guarantee a good night's sleep.
Pros: The room was good and comfortable. The location is perfect for a theater visit.
Cons: The bar could be nicer and more comfortable. The breakfast room is really packed and noisy.
Pros: Good location, close to parks - great for running. Good restaurant in the lobby. Clean and comfy rooms.
Cons: Extra fees for the gym, think hotel guests should have access without paying. Car park was close but 15 Euro is hefty. Again, a reduced fee for hotel guests would make sense.
Pros: My room was large and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is just outside the central shopping district and also convenient for visiting the Pyynikki ridge area.
Cons: It's a modern business hotel without much character. Limited facilities in the room. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room - it was same in another Scandic hotel I stayed at. One drawback on the location is that it's at the opposite end of town to the train station.
Pros: Good service, helpful staff.
Pros: Room was clean and spacious.
Cons: The sounds from the road were quite loud even when the curtains were closed.
Pros: Good and friendly stuff. Peaceful and good location in the heart of the city. Good parking facilities. Breakfast also good, more like a lunch than just a starter for a day.
Cons: Shabby. The whole hotel needs renovations, now funny 80's and early 90's style dominates everywhere. Almost useless television.
Pros: It was near the city center
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Good location.
Pros: Staff at the receiption is rather qualified.
Cons: yes, rabbish from the bin was not out after previous client. Uncomlleteness of the minibar.
A cosy hotel in the centre of Tampere. Lovely views over Tammerkoski and a relaxation suite with sauna and swimming pool guarantee a pleasant visit.
Pros: Comfort is fairly acceptable. But remember we had booked a 15 sq m room, so we did not have great expectations. Overall, however, the hotel remains a good performer. Location is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. I gave it full marks.
Cons: Staff was friendly, but a bit serendipitous. E.g. you can stand by the waiting line and nobody will call you at the counter. So you have this person working and standing in front of you, who never summons you or asks "how may I help you?". Also, one morning there were about two people in training behind the counter, which made the entire process exceedengly slow. Facilities are almost non-existent. Even the sauna was being run with a reduced schedule owing to refurbishment. Room is as advertised, mind me: no complimentary tea, no kettle... nothing. That was expected. Considering the money you pay, though, one would expect something to rekindle the limitations of a 15 sqm room --- especially since you are booking with a big chain that has quite a long record in Finnoscandia's hospitality. Cleanliness is okay. Especially the room was very clean. However, you would still find dirty tables at breakfast, with sticky stains that seem to be some hours old. Value for money is zero, because prices are off the chart compared to many European stays of the same level. It is hard to understand how the entire country can offer lunch meals at 10-13 Euros, much like many other European countries, and yet hotel prices have fully skyrocketed. I have no idea if this has to do with the real estate pricing. All in all, you are still paying 150 euros for something that, in your home country, would barely qualify for 2 stars out of 5 (according to the quality criteria of the hospitality industry). So no: it has no value for money. All surrounding hotels have the same price? It does not matter. Still low value for the money spent.
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Very old dated rooms that are ugly. Paying over 200€ for a hotel room that has absolutely no amenities (such as coffee maker, toiletries etc) Lot of noise from the street and it was quite cold in the room. Bed was okayish but the pillows were really uncomfortable. Would maybe pay 50-70€ max of this room and service.
Pros: My son said He like the room so much.
Pros: Very good position with a great view. Nice breakfast
Cons: Scandic should renovate its hotels!!! The rooms are acceptable but very old style. The toilets near the reception are very dirty... not a Finnish standard!!
Pros: Location was great; room ok. Breakfast was so similar by Day 3 it wasn't worth down for. Room was a good size.
Pros: Location is good. Playground outside is nice. Not much else positive to mention.
Cons: Rooms were way too small. We had a SUPERIOR Family room that barely fitted our small family (two kids, 3 year and 6 months). Breakfast was okay but boring and the breakfast room was always totally overcrowded. The rooms seem last renovated in 80s and could also benefit from proper cleaning. Beds uncomfortable and tiny. No air conditioning. No phone in the room! The pool is was way too cold and for the gym you had to go through the underground parking. No security for luggage room. All of this for almost 200€ a night! Stay away.
Pros: Free bikes, sauna, delicious breakfast, super helpful staff and the location is very useful, very close the center and also into the venue.
Cons: I liked pretty much everything in the hotel, maybe some variety in breakfast could help, apart from that, I'm very happy with the overall stay.
Pros: Breakfast was ok.
Cons: Too small room to call it as family room
Cons: uncomfortable toilet, toilet paper is inconvenient to use, it was very stuffy in the room, air conditioning did not work
Pros: Easy to come;trainstation was nearby.
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: The room was a bit small.
Pros: Hotel is located in the center of the city. So ideal for going out in the evening. Also the restaurant was good.
Cons: Car parking is a real problem. There is a garage, which was all time full. All public parking spaces are a bit away. The swimming pool was quite cold.
Pros: Location is good. Staff was helpful.
Cons: Windows to the parking. Porridge at the breakfast was too liquid. No swimmimg suits at the pool.
Cons: Our superior room way way too small. I was expecting something much bigger for 4 star hotel!
Cons: Car parking.
Pros: sauna, breakfast
Pros: quietness, view and food
Cons: room cleaning and changing towels
Pros: Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bad food, slow service.
With a stay at Homeland in Tampere, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Tampere Cathedral and Kaleva Church. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The location was ok and the walk is pretty flat and easy. The hotel is quiet with cooking facilities and a supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The accommodation is fairly dated and basic. The breakfast offered a lot of choices but the quality was poor. Reception opening times are limited and the same person is also responsible for the breakfast and cleaning the rooms. There are no signs on the hotel. I arrived late and was sent a code to access the key locker for my room. I had one key that operated the front door and my room which left me worried for sometime. I since learned about the key programming possibility. Generally I didn’t feel comfortable but it’s not the style of hotel I would normally choose.
Pros: It was quite ok hotel for staying nights!
Cons: There was no elevator.
Pros: clean spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, within walking distance from the city central.
Pros: Nearby the city centre..10 min walk clean room with the kitchen. there u have everything for cooking The supermarket is one min walking distance. Parking costs 10 euro per nigth. Nice place for a short stand
Pros: Breakfast was good and delicous. Also the breakfastroom was clean and comfortable. Staf was absolutely first class good!
Pros: Bed were soft and nice to sleep in.
Pros: The room was essentially a self-contained apartment, which was clean and in fairly good condition. The breakfast was pretty basic, but it did the job.
Cons: The room faced out onto the road, which was noisy at times. Some of the kitchen equipment wasn't clean. For what it was, it was overpriced, but there was a major event on at the time.
Pros: It was a reasonably priced place not very far from the center. The room was clean, breakfast good.
Cons: The place has a somewhat shabby feel to it. The armchair in the room was really old and torn.
A stay at Apartment Hotel Tampere MN places you in the heart of Tampere, within a 15-minute walk of Tampere Cathedral and Aleksandterin Kirkko. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Location was fine. Good table to work . (Sleeping) bench not too comfortable
Cons: Single beds and a bit small. Heating a bit difficult to manage. Little space for clothes in the closet, that really should be better. Sleeping) bench not too comfortable, a bit too much cheap Ikea stile. Television did not offer some international news channels, like CCN, BBC, Deutsche Well and likewise channels quite hard to find.
Pros: First of all, as a foreigner in Finland the most favorite thing about the apartment was the warmth! The place is very clean, very modern and also the host was kind enough to let me go in the apartment before the normal check in hour.
Pros: We arrived late in the evening but I was sent clear instructions on how to pick up the keys and access the apartment. We slept well as the place is quiet even though it is located in downtown Tampere. There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in the area for those who are interested.
Cons: Everything was fine. I only wish we had more time in Tampere (just passing through).
Pros: Good location and good price. Acceptable standard for just one night.
Cons: Noise from neighbours in the night, not so well isolated walls. Noise from the street as well. Old house and not that high standard of the apartment.
Pros: Really nice apartment, clean spacious in the centre of Tampere. And good value compared to most others. Great location for walking round the city. Collecting key was easy, the owner and colleagues were very friendly and gave clear instructions. All round, a good experience.
Cons: I booked three apartments and was not notified that they were in three different buildings - difficult for the big group to stay together.
Pros: The room is very well equipped.
Cons: The times for picking up the keys seemed more inflexible than they eventually were. It's a residential building, so no parties are allowed, but you can hear the bars downstairs.
Best rooms in Nokia
A cosy spa and conference hotel that caters to your every need. A tropical pool area with saunas and good restaurants offers activities and pampering for all.
Pros: The place has been updated (as moved under Scandic flag) and I like how things were. The pool area is compact but has enough entertainment for 2 days +the outdoor pools which is nice. Special plus on restaurants and pubs, different options, good variety of things to eat & drink. Dinner buffee was also a positive supprize (I usually avoid those in Finland)
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice dinner. The pool and saunas are free for guests. Bathrobes are included. A lot of sockets in the room, thus, no trouble charge all your devices. Kinda possible to charge EV (Type F 16A; need to reset a timer every 2 hours).
Cons: The venue needs to renovated.
Cons: Breakfast at this family season was a chaos.
Pros: Saw a lot of reviews concerning “old” design of the hotel, however that’s the feature of this hotel! Palms, game room and swimming pool looks like the place where VOGUE magazine can organize photo shoots, I swear! We stayed in Pet Friendly room and it was quite clean as well as all hotel. I think that’s the most important thing nowadays. Ladies on the reception are very very nice and beautiful! Thank you for your warm welcome. Breakfast is cool.
Cons: I didn’t like the reviews of the hotel, that’s the only thing :))
