8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners were helpful, friendly, spoke some English and were welcoming. The room had a view of the hills.
Cons: It would be better for people with a car rather than a pilgrim hiking the Camino as it required extra mileage to get to it. It was isolated with no places to eat or get groceries. It would have been nice to have a tea kettle or mini fridge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: a beautiful building in a beautiful location. quiet and serene. very comfortable rooms with beautiful views. Amazing staff - especially Paula and Begonia. They made us feel so very welcome. Very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants for dinner. Nice breakfast. The whole surroundings area is beautiful - with mountains and cute villages and the sea and beaches. We have done lots of adventures - canyoning, caving, climbing, hiking. Seen people biking. Definitely would recommend. and we will be back! It is ideal place for family holiday - with something for everyone.
Cons: Cannot think of anything :-)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very nice and helpful. Beautiful location with good views over surrounding mountains. Beautiful house and very well kept.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Paula was fantastic and spoke English for us, made us a cup of tea and cake. Nothing as too much trouble - even booked our next nights accommodation at next nights stopover and rang a taxi for us to the next town - so we could pick up the Camino de Santiago path.
Cons: Everything was wonderful
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owner. Amazing building. Good breakfast. Recommended when exploring the area.
Cons: A bit isolated, so you need the car if you want to go for a bite or so.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived to my destination, I was exhausted. I was greeted with such warmth, and my room was like something out of a movie with a view that calmed every nerve in my body. In hindsight, I'd come back and stay longer. Breakfast was incredible, and made from scratch on sight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was luxurious. The staff were welcoming and very helpful.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Breakfast choice and views. The garden lounge
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, the staff, the room even little sweets left on the bedside cabinet every day.
Cons: I don't want to say anything negative about this lovely hotel but could do with somewhere to eat at night without having to drive by that I mean evening meal or even snacks. Don't take this as a negative as there are restaurants a 10min drive away.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find,Madam was excellent ,the accomodation was very good and clean. Breakfast was also very good

6.0 Good
Pros: Nice surroundings helpfull staff lovely building
Cons: The hotel was remote so a bar would have been nice at the end of the day
7.6 Good
Pros: This is a gem of a Hotel set in a very quiet village with fantastic views over the countryside. Just a short drive to some excellent beaches and small towns. Clean, comfortable and relaxing.
Cons: Breakfast should have been included in the price. Ignore booking.com driving instuctions.
5.2 Okay
Pros: Historic building, sympathetically resored and appointed. Beautiful outlook over the surrounding countryside and (apart from one local festival night) quiet.
Cons: Lack of a bar or restaurant and effectively no nearby facilities, meant that we had to drive elsewhere in the evening for dinner which impacted our full enjoyment of the hotel's location. Availablity of an English tv news channel such as BBC or WiFi would have been an advantage.
7.6 Good
Pros: The staff couldn't do enough to help in any situation
Cons: No restaurant but staff told us of some good ones close by.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good English from receptionist. Beautiful interior design and bathroom fittings. Good breakfast.
Cons: Problem with flies in bedroom very off putting especially as friends in other hotels didn't experience this problem.
7.2 Good
Pros: Fantastic place, great views, excellent service.
Cons: No evening meals.

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our stay started with a warm welcome by Alba with freshly baked cakes and coffee. Let the holidays begin! We stayed in a fully equipped apartment. The beds were comfortable and for our 1-year old a crib was available. The view from our bedroom window was just amazing: a picturesque picture of the rural Asturia with the Picos de Europa in the background. Everyday we enjoyed the homemade breakfast by Alba and her mother. What a great way to start your day! And every day our beds were made, the kitchen cleaned and when needed fresh towels provided. I would say a five star service! Our little girls (one and four years old) could play in the garden and beautiful beaches (we enjoyed Franca the most) are just 10 minutes away. Where else can you find such surroundings (mountains in the back and beautiful beaches in the front) in such authentic settings with such lovely and friendly people?! I would highly recommend Muriances to everybody: from families with young children to pelgrims walking the Camino. Whether you will stay for just one night or for several weeks, you will have a home (with benefits!) away from home.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Large room and wonderful breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous stay at Agroturismo Muriances. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the countryside. The staff were really kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing.... from the home cooked potato tortilla to the farm eggs and freshly baked cakes. We wish we stayed longer.
Cons: We couldn't work out how to connect to the wifi (mainly because we only spoke English)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay! Magical house and setting, super comfy beds, had our own apartment and paid for a delicious dinner served with wine at our own dining table. The owners were even kind enough to collect and return us to the Camino. A taste of paradise after a long day of walking. Muchicimas gracias!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous. We had a suite with large comfortable beds, kitchen and balcony. The location is lovely and quiet and the breakfast was awesome. It was the best breakfast we have had in 5 weeks of travelling in Spain. It included a home made fruit compote with fruits from the garden, hot tortillas, some local speciality with honey, a vast array of homemade cakes plus bacon, Iberian sausage and eggs from their own hens. The lady was charming and wrapped up some cakes to take away with us. Overall, one of our most enjoyable stays ever. Just to note - they don't speak English but the lady's Spanish is very clear.
Cons: WiFi connectivity was poor in the room.

Pros: Nice no hassle place middle of nowhere with fields surrounding the village and quite a nice restaurant or two still within walking distance. If you're searching peaceful night away from urban areas surrounded by nature and nice service all in all, very much a worthy option. Easy parking, a bit old but comfortable rooms, and nice countryside breakfast all made a worthwhile visit.

House is full of old traditional furniture and utensils. Bedrooms are spacious, very clean quiet. Bathrooms are new, with very good quality, with toiletries including tooth brush and razor. Both Spanish high pillows and small ones are available on bed and in closet. Small tv. Diner on site is possible. There is a common living room. Internet was working good for video calls in the room. Evelinda, the host, was giving us ver useful advice for day trips and dining. Pros: We enjoyed breakfast in the garden with a lovely view. Fresh orange juice, good coffee, cheesecake and the selection of cold meats and cheeses was superb. Highly recommend.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the building and the owner was very attentive and helpful although there was no one on site when I first arrived. The location scenery and the building were very impressive. The room I had was excellent and I could not fault it.
Cons: I was very disappointed that there were no facilities for food in the evening not even snacks. I had travelled by motorbike and was tired. I really just wanted to eat and go to bed early. There are no facilities anywhere near the property. I did not want to take a taxi out. I do not wish to detract from what was an enjoyable stay but for the price I expect more facilities. It was more of an exclusive B and B rather than a hotel

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely and helpful. The shower was really good. Breakfast was excellent and great value (€4 pp).
Cons: The bed in the room where we stayed (first in the ground floor) is in terrible conditions. The slats are sagging in the middle, the frame is unstable, and it is small for two people. It should be changed immediately. Apart from this, the room is rather small.
7.5 Good
Pros: The place was beautiful, with a little river running close by. Dinner and breakfast were great too. Staff very helpful and kind.
Cons: Uncomfy bed. It was a very nice private double bedroom but the bed was too soft. If you really need to rest, the bed is not for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place feels like a home from home. It's so welcoming and relaxing. The staff are fantastically hospitable and helpful. My room was amazing, with a view out over the mountains, and an unexpected balcony where I could retreat into my own world. Everything about this place is so enjoyable, and that also includes having breakfast out on the front terrace soaking up the serenity and the scenery. My bed was the perfect comfort for a weary Camino pilgrim! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful/ relaxing holiday. Fantastic value for money too.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel with a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, very friendly personnel and very clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, clean, simple, healthy, everything I look for in a good start to my day. The rooms were beautiful and exceptionally clean. Most importantly, its only a few minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and yet cozy, divided in two floors. Very well designed toilet, shower giving us privacy enough. Comfy bed, great location, superb environment, right at the centre of the village, 10 minutes walking to the beach
Cons: Nothing, if I had to make a suggestion, improving the water containment in the shower, is easy to flood the toilet area if you are into long showers
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with really nicely decorated rooms, an AMAZING restaurant and bar, where you can have an apperitivo, staff was kind. Location was great, Northern Spain is beautiful and a small hidden gem with not too many tourists!
Cons: The restaurant was a little bit pricey, but the food was worth it, we went there every night (stayed 3 nights) and it was always delicious. Be aware, that the staff in the hotel didnt speak amazing english, but in comparison to the rest of Northern Spain this was still good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location. Possible to walk to the sea from the hotel, but it is quite a walk. In the village as such, there is nothing to do. Dinner was OK. Tried the second night the bar/restaurant across the street, which was quite a pleasant experience… very friendly people, but very poor English.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was really nice, small village close to the sea. Beautifull beach. Only 20 min walk.
Cons: Despite the fact we booked a junior suite, the room did not give a spacious feeling. It was quite narrow sleeping space. In our view they just tried to put too much in the space, bedroom, sitting room and even small kitchenette. Also bathroom quite small. No decent space to leave your personal things. Would have been nicer just to make it a big bedroom with larger bathroom. Nothing to complaint about hygiene... super clean. Same space issue in breakfast room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Couldn’t ask for a better location. Spacious two bedroom, having a living room with a four seat dining table is really convenient. Very quite neighborhood, walking to a beautiful beach for sunset and sunrise.
Cons: Took us 30 minutes to check in to our two rooms because the girl didn’t know what she was doing. Ended up putting my teenager son as the main person in the room but with his dad’s birthday although she studious passports hard and long. No coffee machine or water kettle so not sure why they set up a kitchenette. Not a single piece of facial paper - go buy your own. No place to hang towels although revisionist recommended - we ended up hanging them in the closet. Would have like to keep the windows open but the hotel staff was smoking right under.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and new rooms at a quiet location. Very beautiful beach at walking distance. Picos de Europa is a 1 hour drive.
Cons: Minor detail: the bed was a bit small.

Pros: Pretty village. Lovely views. Good communal facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet.Spotlessly clean. Convenient. Very good value
Cons: All good
5.0 Okay
Cons: Difficult to navigate. Easier address would be handy.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a small but comfortable double bedroom with own bathroom and shared use of a sitting room/ kitchen and dining room and a good-size balcony. We had it to ourselves although there were three bedrooms. This all made it potentially an excellent place to stay for anyone walking the Camino - as we were! - and wanting to cook for themselves, wash clothes, sit comfortably and relax for a while. The setting is quiet and pleasant on the edge of the small town, but a very easy 15 minutes stroll away from everything there. The owner was lovely and kindly gave us a lift to the nearby town to catch a bus to Santander the following day.
Cons: WiFi not too good! Rather difficult to find as a little beyond town and not signposted. If you have walked from Comillas on the Camino, looking for this place might push you over the edge after a very long day! Our lack of Spanish admittedly hampered us quite badly. We will try and learn more for next time.
