Our room air conditioner wasnt cooling so we turned it down and we had a terrible sewer odor . The front desk lady came up and smelled it as soon as door opened. She moved us to another room which was very much appreciated. Love staying here
The rooms were small.
Amenities and restaurant on site, very friendly front desk at check in.
Small rooms and bathrooms. No vanity sink area, tight quarters.
No Marriott points.
How small the room was
Everything plus opportunities for shuttle service to downtown OKC and other areas. Bike rental, classes and more!
I didn't have enough time :)
This Hotel is the US Post Office Training center. It is huge, filled with everything including an indoor driving range. I have never seen it before or heard of it before. It was great! The rooms were small but clean and well kept.
The staff was AMAZING! Breakfast was 5 star. Great transit service to and from the OU Game!
The rooms are VERY small for the price we paid. We came for the game so didn't use all the extras the hotel offers and we felt like the price as more for all the extras. The rooms AC also wasn't working right!! Very stuffy.
The hotel was very nice. The bar was great for watching football, although service was lacking a bit. However, it was very crowded so that it somewhat understandable. The breakfast was great! The staff was very nice and helpful as well.
I found the room and bathroom to be smaller than I'm accustomed to. The bed was a bit uncomfortable too. Nothing too bad though.
Wonderful price for all the amenities
Staff somehow booked 2 rooms for me. Only got part of money back, but that's ok
This was a great find, everything was exceptional, the pool, the workout room, the breakfast ... it was all good.
clean, new, and well maintained.
The best thing was the restaurant - full buffet with omelets made to order. Also, the bar area has a Route 66 theme and was enjoyable. The rooms are small, and the furnishings were plain. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
Where to start? The hotel was a little unusual in that it is on Federal property and you have to pass by a guard who is all business but the hotel was great. All the staff, from front desk to housekeeping and everyone in between was friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place with a table tennis (ping-pong) table and NCED got it right. They had not one, but two, Butterfly tables. The amenities are too numerous to list. The breakfast was awesome. Not a 'bagel and banana' breakfast. It was a full breakfast including cook-to-order omelettes. The hotel is kid friendly.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was very impressed with the friendly service, the willingness to help get a cab, along with directions for the quickest route to get to our destination. The room was small, but nice. The breakfast however is delicious and worth returning for! I was very happy with our stay and will stay there again in the near future!! Boomer Sooner baby!!
Great place, not too far from OU. The only negative is that the rooms are on the small side. Not a problem for us, we were in town for s game and the room was fine for sleeping. Bed was comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was really good. We had our daughter join us for breakfast, so I asked the front desk how much it would be for her to join us. They gave me a extra voucher for free. We will definitely stay here again.
I was quite tickled by the fact that this hotel is owned by the United States Post Office. The outside of the hotel looks like a dormitory or office building, but inside everything is very pleasant. I found the front desk people to be very helpful. The room was small, but very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
This was a perfect hotel for is. We were in Norman for a football game and the hotel is 2 minutes from the stadium. Rooms are small, but clean. They also offer breakfast with the room which is great. They have food cooked to order as well as cereals, oatmeal, etc. I plan on staying here every time I am back in Norman for the weekend.
The only hotel I've stayed in that was cleaner is the Breakers in Palm Beach! This hotel is part of a training facility for the USPS. General travelers get to enjoy all the amenities of a long stay facility at a bargain price. There is a manned security gate at the entrance. It has a great fitness center, a gym, a beauty salon, tennis courts a game room with pool tables, a nearby golf course, in house driving range and the biggest outdoor pool I've ever seen at a hotel. Almost forgot the two whirlpools. There are very nice outdoor seating areas and an outdoor fire in evening. There is a lounge/bar and a cafeteria. The food at the cafeteria is by Marriott so it's not standard cafeteria type food. The breakfast is included in the room rate and even includes an omelet bar. The standard rooms are small, I was told they were designed for long term, single occupancy, but who spends the day in the room. Bath rooms are small. The towels are nice and fluffy and the sheets are great. Our queen sized bed had four pillows, two big foam and two feather along with another feather in the closet. There was also a down duvet. Room had a lounge chair with footstool, end tables, dresser, desk with free internet, and a TV with cable including HBO. Our 5th floor room had a view of the courtyard with pleasant landscaping, tables and chairs and an evening fire. Very quiet and relaxing. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel and thought iit was good a good value and would stay here again without hesitation.
