Situated by the ocean, Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn is a great choice for a stay in Rockport. Guests can enjoy the seasonal outdoor pool, along with onsite hiking/biking trails. 2 outdoor pools and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer balconies or patios and refrigerators.
Pros: Heard everyone talk about the pool (it was too cold when I was there). But everything else, oh my God!
- Amazing views. I drove past this area two or three times and was determined to stay somewhere there. In my head, I had built up this image of beautiful water views through the towering trees down a rolling hill. And that's what I saw from my room. From the back porch, it was stunning!! The leaves were turning color.
- THe breakfast!! Trust me, it's worth it to get the breakfast. You get eggs (any kind you like), bacon or sausage, and hash browns. There's a lovely spread of all you can eat bread with a toaster and multiple jams. There's some sort of morning pasty each day (lemon poppyseed cake I had one day was the best I've ever had in my life).
There's berries and granola and other fresh fruit. And instead of the basic eggs/bacon option, you can get the house special for that morning. I didn't do it either day, but both days it sounded like something good. I know a lot of people that would've liked it. I imagine if i had stayed one more morning I would've taken it. But I was so excited for bacon and eggs, like a vanilla dork, I went simple.
Waitress and cook, and everyone was friendly. And you eat with those same views I was talking about (if its nice, out on the deck). Reading the paper, sipping a juice, looking at the water and feeling the breeze was the highlight of my day. After that, it was impossible to have a bad day in the area.
- Location. Camden Hills State Park is stunning, and Camden is so close, I couldn't even listen to one song between the hotel and the town. Cute place, friendly people, beautiful views.
- THe in-room jacuzzi. Incredible!! Not just a glorified bathtub, but iwth complimentary bath salts and lots of jets. Wish I could relax like that right now.
Just a great place. I 'm sure there are others in the area, but I'd have a hard time not staying here every time I come through from now on.

Pros: We stayed for 4 days and spent most of the time on the balcony overlooking the harbor. Camden is the headquarters for schooners. The main dock was just below the patio. We watched schooners come and go as well as the activity of a busy harbor. Loved it!

Pros: The most charming place I've ever stayed. Loved it!
Pros: This was our third visit to Glen Cove Inn; we originally found it by accident, and could not have been happier. Nothing has changed - although the experience might have even improved. Our room was spotless and comfortable, the staff was great!
Cons: No issues or dislikes
Pros: Located near a few towns with good restaurants and several beautiful parks, as well as close to the water. Within driving distance of several activities and sights.
Cons: Wifi was weak.
Pros: Nice place to stay along Route 1 when driving the coast. The continental breakfast was great and started off our day well. We found the staff to be very friendly. I would have no problem staying here again.
Pros: It was very clean and the room was adorable. Loved our little front porch!
Pros: Great location, very clean, spacious, comfortable room. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Would have preferred a room on the first floor, had to walk up a full flight of stairs to get to our room but luckily the weather was nice so not too big of a deal.
Pros: So very charming. Outdoor breakfast space.
Cons: Bathroom could use a minor renovation
Pros: extremely clean and quaint. Staff was Excellent
Cons: Room was a little small , but still perfect for 1-2 people.

Pros: The Lord Camden Inn is a charming place to stay in the very picturesque town of Camden Maine. In retrospect we would have scheduled more time on our Fall Foliage trip for this area. The only down side is the bathroom is a little small but I would stay there in an instant given the chance again!

A children's pool and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer deep soaking tubs and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Clean, beautiful view, great customer service and a wonderful breakfast.
Pros: I enjoyed the scenery and the location.
Cons: We left after 10 minutes and were refunded. Severe health hazard.
Pros: Nice facility, spacious rooms, good location, nice property to walk around.
Cons: The walls between the rooms are very thin; you can hear drawers being opened and closed, conversations, etc.
The porch light outside the front door is very bright and illuminates the room and makes it difficult to sleep.
Pros: I liked the area it was close to everything.
Cons: The cottage prices were really high for mid September. And I myself don't smoke however making quests go off the property and up to the road is a little ridiculous.
Pros: Great location, minutes from Camden and mid coast locations. We stayed in both cottages and guest rooms, and you get what you pay for. The staff and grounds make this a good value. We would stay here again.
Cons: The vistas are a little lacking, unless you take the walk to an oceanside deck which is fabulous.
Pros: Very Clean, Nice location
Cons: Beds were a bit hard
Pros: Comfortable beds, good breakfast in a pleasant space
Cons: Promotional photo of boardwalk is misleading. From the room it was at least a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. It was not all like being on the ocean as the photo suggests.
Mostly, though, we were surprised and disappointed by the unaccommodating nature of management. We had made a mistake and confused our arrival date. But although we accepted that we should pay the penalty (a deposit of 1/2 for the one missed night) management insisted on penalizing us 1/2 for the entire booking. This was particularly surprising since other rooms and cabins were clearly vacant both before and after our stay, and given the fact that we were willing to stay an additional night if some understanding and accommodation had been made. On top of this, another customer at the time told us they had been offered their cabin at 1/2 price. All of this left a very bad taste …Bottom line= Poor customer service/Unaccommodating attitude

Pros: We rented one of the cabins, it was great. It had everything we needed. Plenty of room and we liked the fact that there was a restaurant on the premises. We will go back again.
Cozy and well appointed cabins in an excellent location. This is a very well maintained resort. Lots of on site activities were available. Nice cafe just a short walk from our cabin. These cabins are close to plenty of local restaurants and shopping. We had a great experience in a comfortable woodsy environment!
Pros: Lots of room and privacy in our cabin.
We happened to drive into Point Lookout on a snowy day. What a beautiful scene! The trees and cabins were all covered in snow and the resort looked like a magical, winter wonderland! We also loved how close restaurants and grocery stores were to our cabin. We didn't have to drive far to see snow covered hills and panoramic ocean scenes. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would love to go back again for a quick getaway.
Pros: The room was spotless, neat and tidy. The overall feel of the cabin was very welcoming. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised about how adorable and spacious our cabin was. We also liked how close the cabins were to local restaurants and stores.
Cons: Check-in time seemed a tad late (4:00pm) and check-out time seemed a tad early (10:00am), but these times worked out for our personal plans.
Cabin interiors were to die for. Absolutely loved it. Would have liked an ottoman for the unbelievable comfy leather chair, as well as a reading lamp(table lamp cast light too low).
Pros: Cabin was fabulous. The private screened in porch was heaven. I sat listening to the bird calls and watching the sunset.
Cons: I thought there was a restaurant for dinner, but there wasn't. Cabins were a little close together - felt like I was in a log cabin subdivision.

Pros: I was greatly impressed by the customer service. From the very first call I made to ensure that we could have one of the pet friendly rooms, to the housekeeper that gave us great information on the area, every single person we had contact with was wonderfully pleasant and helpful.
Cons: I would have liked the restaurant menu to be more extensive. We ended up eating our dinners out after our first night there.
