Very friendly and comfortable
I felt at home and was made very welcome, nothing was to much trouble for the family owned business, When I went out for the day I would come back to a made bed and had a good supply of coffee and tea.[the hot chocolate was my favourite],the breakfast was very good, and when I needed help and advice getting around in a town I didnt know, they went out of their way to help me find my way around.I would stay again."thank you Tudor Terrace Guest House".
friendly staff good breakfast comfortable stay
Friendly and easy going No
The owners were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. We felt at home instantly on arrival and tghis feeling lasted throughout our stay. My room at the front had a window seat and view of the sea and this geat house is just yards from the Prom. No bad points, only good ones.
Friendly and helpful staff, good food and facilities
There was a very friendly welcome. Excellent standard of accommodation at the price and a big breakfast to send me on my way.
Perfect stay, friendly service, clean rooms with attention to details. In addition a perfect service at the breakfast. I would prefer this hotel anyway if I would travel to Cleethorpes or Grimsby again. Many thanks. There was nothing which I had to complain
The breakfast is excellent but the service is not as efficient as it used to be. I don't feel the extra charge is justified as against other B&Bs in the area at which we have also stayed.
very trusting and helpful.....
English breakfast, swimming pool The double Bed was less comfortable than expected
Relaxing and staff friendliness Room service on the pricey side.
Friendliness of the staff. The disabled parking were a little bit too far away from reception. I would prefer a detachable shower head in the bathroom.
Good price for B&B as at a wedding there. Rooms are in need of refirbishment. Drinks are expensive.
Used for a family wedding near by, Hotel in a central position buffett breakfast excellent
Had two twin rooms, one was a little on the small side the other was fine. It took a very long time to check in, either the system was very poor or the receptionist did not know what he was doing.
Location The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there were no towels in the bathroom,
the use of the pool and gym was very good and the bar and restaurant area were very nice. Bathrooms were a little old fashioned and breakfast should be included in the standard price.
Easy access to internet. Too expensive for what it offers.
Quiet location friendly staff
This is a fairly new hotel. Very nice place to stay. Room was well equipped and very clean. Usd restaurant and that was very enjoyable, with good menu and very good quality/presentation. Staff were all very polite and helpful.
well equipped room, location On a very warm evening, the room was hot and the window not enough to cool it. a fan might be useful in the height of summer.
Leisure facilities I was put in disabled room which seemed ok until i was having a shave in the bathroom and struggled with the sink being too low.
the swimming pool and the large beautiful room and badroom
Breakfast was poor Location on an industrial estate Handy for city
Not having to drive home
service from staff when booking taxi room service etc.
Excellent stay, very good food, piping hot and prompt service. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Professional and efficient reception, spacious room en suite, comfortable bed, good room temperature regulation (not too hot), friendly staff, excellent pool and facilities.
Convenient location and easy parking. N/A
Friendly staff, good food ,close to town Very soon the hotel needs a general update
The old fashioned quality of staff friendliness and caring for the customer.Traditional hotel beliefs and a fantastic cooked English breakfast. Furnishings a bit outdated now and 'tired', but comfortable and clean.
The rooms were very comfortable, relaxing and well provided for. The staff couldn';t be more helful, The location was wonderful. It made for a very pleasant weekend.
Lovely old fashioned Hotel with excellent standards of staff , food and accomodation. Broke window handle, repaired within an hour. Staff all friendly and helpful, None.
The central location added to the willingness of the staff / management to help made this stay memorable.
Shortage of smoking rooms
It was fairly close to the centre of town, right on the seafront and very helpful staff.
Pleasant old fashioned hotel right on the sea front. I could only marginally recommend it No internet connection of any kind available. The bed was so old the mattress had lumps and bumps and resulted in an uncomfortable night
Thoughtful excellent service all the time. Superb food. Comfortable lounges, stairs landing and bedroom
The hotel was very conveinent from The Deep. We literally walked there with no problems. The staff and service was great. Overall it was a nice hotel for a simple trip I though tthe room was a bit small for a family of 4. Also the first night we ate at the restaraunt and I felt like it was overpriced. And the food was mediocre at best. The tiramisu cake was horrible though.
Clean , modern and great view from the top floor. £7.50 for breakfast
Cleanliness, comfort, location, quality of food & value for money None
Excellent standard, everything working within the room, superb view, great breakfast (continental),convenient location for city centre, adjacent free parking. None
Good friendly staff clean rooms good food No clock in room
staff were helpful and very friendly, it had free wifi; the food from the restaurant was good and obtained at short notice. Room was cold during the afternoon, and has weird notices suggesting its previous role as a lodging house for actors. I really wasnt intending to damage or steal the room furnishings! the rooms had been recently refurbished, but not the basic structure (Central heating, some bathroom fittings).
Staff were friendly, facilities clean and pleasant, beds comfortable and location was idea for centre of Hull. no parking - meter out front from 0830 to 1830 max 2hrs or all day 100yds way £8.50 per day or £5.00 at weekends
Bed was really comfortable. Brilliant food and service. Shower temp wasn't consistent.
Staff friendly and food good Arrived at 2.30 pm on a cold November day no heating or hot water on, at request it was switched on. rooms are big and not easy to heat
Nice big room, comfy bed. 1) The crumbling plaster/cornice in our room. 2) The lack of a reading light on one side of the bed. The problem was that there was not even a socket there. Neither of these problems should exist even in the most basic of hotels. Fix the plaster and fit a socket & lamp, and forget the bottled water and sweeties!
The room was excellent, a good size and comfortable bed. Huge tv with only 4 channels
Very friendly staff. Clean room and excellent breakfast served by friendly member of staff. Very clean tablecloth at breakfast. No really enjoyed my stay.
Large comfortable room, good english breakfast some of the bathhroom fittings need updating
Warm and cosy room lovely staff very comfortable stay Had to leave main reception and walk 3 doors down the street to our room, not a massive problem but weather very cold and icy at the time.
The shower wasn't great, the water pressure was low and the water temperature kept changing - freezing one minute roasting the next
It is a small B&B. Good breakfast. Stituated not far from the center. Very good beds. There was no wifi available at all, as mentionned in the Booking.com-informatiom! Payment by creditcard not possible. No 4 star-accommodation!
None No luxury found not a 4star
Good position. Comfortable room. Poor quality towels. Shower too hot, couldn't regulate it.
The greeting was cheery and friendly and we were shown to our room straight away..It was great to have a jar of coffe, a jar of hot chocolate and proper teabags with a teapot on the welcome tray. The complimentary toiletries were excellent. Breakfast was tasty, freshly cooked and served promptly.
The way they upgraded us, free of charge, to the best room as it was available and how they let us bring our very small dog, We slept in miss the breakfast (as we always do) and they very kindly left us to sleep! The B+B was more like a lovely old world hotel...just lovely Not a thing
Attention to detail, a tea pot and jar of coffee, perfume in the bathroom
Very helpful and a good breakfast. Good sleep and my dog was welcome and enjoyed his stay None
Location - easy reaching distance of Hull but away from city and very close to river/bridge so great for breath of fresh air before working day. Breakfast served very cheerfully in pleasant surroundings. Spacious room and bathroom. All clean A bit noisy (traffic) at the front of the b&b but used to it by 2nd night. No internet access.
Warm welcome, nothing too much trouble and recommendations of where to eat. None
No complaints what so ever. We were contacted by phone whilst travelling up to Hull which we found reassuring that room was available.Staff excellent. Room excellent, clean, quiet, bed very comfortable, very impressed. Many Thanks. No bad points
Very friendly staff made it feel like a family home rather than a guest house For a cheap and short stay I have no complaints
The hoast was very freindly & helpful, also very nowledgeable on the local area. The food was localy sourced & very tasty. The location was perfectly for our walking of the Way of The Vikings for that particular leg.
The barman and chef went out of their way to produce a lovely simple meal that was not on the menu. Many thanks for that. The rooms are lovely and I hope you can keep the price low! Amazing how you have transformed it.
Good Location to Hospital Excellent refurbished room Construction site
Friendly staff major refurbishment in progress at long last....food limited but good In process of refurbishment, breakfast average for price, this hotel may price itself out of the market following update.
Nice decor in recently renovated rooms - tv good and liked the bath taps with temperature gauge built in so no need to try to get mixer at correct temperature Scaffolding around windows - obviously building work and renovations taking place - No chair of any description in the room - advised not delivered when ordered but badly needed one following a full days gardening!!! Also the pipes were particularly noisy - could hear other taps being turned on from adjoining bedrooms and even people going to the toilet!! Televisions sound was evident aswell - shutting of doors very loud - all in all not a quiet hotel but comfy
Hotel just refurbished to a very high stanard. The breakfast although very good, (as we did not request breakfast at the time of booking) was expensive at £9.50p
Booking room and reception, tried their best to provide a twin room Maybe more twin and less double rooms would be useful - you can push beds together, but you can't halve a double bed
hotel design and comfort found no negative points
We have known this hotel for many years, the new owners have to be congratulated on the refurbishment and organisation. We enjoyed our stay, it was excellent value for money.
There was'nt any rooms for smokers
The ease of access to the shopping centres in the city. Should have been able to watch each movie I bought on their pay system several times until the cut of time.
good staff , accomadative to your requests
Clean, helpful staff, central location close to all amenities. No on site secure parking.
unfortunatley I cannot think of anything good to say about this hotel except that it was there and it was open when I arrived. :-( The staff were unresponsive and unhelpful, The room was grubby and beds not made properly (top sheet and cover where flat but underneath it was a mess), I feel that I should have stayed at the station hotel which was £10 cheaper and only a 3 minute walk away (Station hotel looked very nice)
Location - just 5 mins walk from the main train station Location to train station, clean and helpful/friendly staff
the staff the plumbing makes noise every time someone flushes the toilet
Large room,en suite, clean, comfortable Absolute rubbish internet which costs 11.99 for 24 hours, certainly not use this hotel again untill this problem is sorted.
Location. easy to find Carpet was filty - could use a hoover around the edge and the whole thing could do with a steam clean. Urine stain under the loo which really smelt. Ran out of beans & eggs at breakfast and had to wait for 15 minutes for more.... when the lady waiting with me asked after 10 minutes if there were more coming she was told rudely "have patience." Hotel might be busy but there is no need to be rude to your guests. Stayed at the Premier Inn the next night for same price and it was far superior! (I don't normally leave negative comments either but really disheartened by this experience)
No parking facilities at the hotel had to pay extra for parking in a multi- storey car park
As described pretty much - the pool in particular. Very helful bar staff when we ate evening meal. No mention of the fact that the restaurnt was undergoing major refurbishment and restaurant facilities were in the bar.
The hotel is very central to town. The breakfast was poorly organised and when we attended at 10.00 am although the restaurant contained only 20 or so customers, there were no tables available and then no hot food available. We were not offered tea and coffee and when I asked for the hot drinks, we then had to ask for milk twice before this was brought. A truly terrible breakfast experience which could very easily have been much better.
Close emenities, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast Room was cold, had to complain and in the end was given an electric heater
The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant was delightful looking on to the marina. The evening meals were good and the breakfasts excellent.
staff very friendly with good local knowledge clubs shops staff at breakfast putting fingers inside of clean glasses in order to carry 4 or 5 at a time when resetting tables
Nice hotel, staff very attentive.
The warm welcome at Reception on arrival and when checking out. The slightly complicated breakfast menu with 2 sections. The first being uncooked and the second cooked. It didn't make it clear whether you could mix both menus or just select from one menu.
the breakfast was superb
Always convenient for the city centre and predictable in quality.Enjoy the proximity to the Marina and view from the restaurant. Not told about the £5 charge for parking.
Everything about the guest house was lovely the photos on the internet do not do the rooms justice they are of a much higher quality than portrayed. Ann and Maurice are a lovely couple who welcome you warmly when you arrive. thanks for a lovely stay. will book again if in the area.
The staff and facilities were excellent!! Would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone! Fantastic value for money!
Very well presented and good friendly help from staff. None.
The total package was excellent and value for money
Seaview position, close to all amenities None
The Hotel was spotlesly clean, The owners were very friendly and helpful,The room was comfortable with a great seaview Breakfast was well cooked plentiful and very well presented.
Choice of breakfast was good Not enough breakfast.1 sausage and 1 egg should have been 2 of each, had to askfor more coffee, and no extra toast was offered.it doesnt cost much to put a bit extra on considering we paid £30.00 each for bed and breakfast.plus the shower was too small.plus when I googled it I asked for licenced b+b but there was no bar so not happy.
Great welcome. Fantastic breakfasts. Superb cleanliness. None
The room was excellent, beautifully decorated well laid out and very comfortable with a stylish shower room. Highly recommended!
High quality facilites with every attention to detail run by people who clearly take great pride in the service they provide.
Propably best B&B im stayed in past 10 years. Will recommend to anyone who going to Grimsby-Clleetorpse areas.Ewen if not-Must be place!!!!Superb.
Good value, friendly staff.
i have stayed in many guest houses all over the uk this was simpley the best. charming' helpfull hoasts super rooms great breakfast 10/10
The owners gave us an excellent experience of cleethorpes and we throughly enjoyed our stay.
Very freinly couple and nice room, clean everywhere and a good brekfast.
comfortable rooms and friendly service Nothing
Room was comfortable, clean and decorated to a high standard.
Excellent hosts, very nice room and a great breakfast ! None.
Inclusive breakfast was very good, especially considering the price It is slightly tired looking, but don't forget, this is a budget Hotel. I would certainly stay there again.
I like every thing about the hotel from the size of the rooms, general cleanliness, service and good breakfast provided Inadequate toilet and shower facilities. One has to go a floor down to use either .of the facilities
The staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one.
Friendly service, good sized room, everything worked, relatively quiet location. Very efficient breakfast service. None, actually.
? hours range the breakfast was served was not wide enough (too early)
Friendly and helpfull staff. Very cheap and full english was included with cereal, toast and tea. They let you order more tea and toast for free. 5 minutes walk to a range of shops and fast food outlet and tesco express but not too close to cause any disturbance. Large map in foyee showing where you are and the rest of Hull. Room decor and furniture is all a little dated, but is kept well and clean. They tried to charge me an additional £4 for using a credit card but told them they did not state this on yell. They did not force the issue any further.
Friendly helpfull service Could give better value for money especially with meals when compared to other hotels in the area.
Good value for money, clean and tidy. Courteous service. Good location. I booked a single room, and got the smallest guestroom that I have ever seen! I was perhaps a little spoiled because I was given a family room on my previous visit to the same hotel. Nevertheless, I got what I paid for, so this is not a complaint.
It was convenient to where I wanted to go in Hull no comments
The hotel was excellent, nice and friendly staff, ecellent location, nice and quiet, yet only 10 minutes walk, to the centre, will most certainly, stay here again, have reccommended it to other, people I know, who will be staying here in the near future No bad points at all
The location of the hotel is fantastic. No iron in the room, as most hotels provide these days
The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The prices of the drinks at the bar are very expensive. There was dried blood on the duvet from obviously a previous person. Room Number 115
Friendly staff, who promptly provided a new room when we found our allocated room had no heating. Relaxed but professional, always quick to return to the desk when we buzzed as they were working in the back office. Breakfast selection left something to be desired (very limited range of hot food) and the coffee (from a machine) was poor.
Convenient location. Close to railway and bus terminal. Next to St Stephens shopping mall Nobody on reception desk on returning at 2130. No bell. Had to ask the barman to find a reception staff member.
No mirror near a plug for use of hair dryers etc!
Reception and bar staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfy clean, tidy and in excellent repair No complaints
Clean, modern, good facilities, not too pricey no, although it would have been nice to have free parking!
No resturaunt in hotel
so central for everything in town we wre here for a theatre break. n/a
The bar car parking facilities
friendly staff excellent food very clean And very helpful I cannot complain about anything as everything was as expected of a 4star And the service was excellent
A very warm welcome and pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to our room. The breakfast was superb and plentyfull. Would definately stay again. The only problem we had was the shower, we found it difficult tooperate.
because of the size and layout having two bed room double and twin.
We only used this hotel as we had limited time to book Over priced for what is effectively a B&B
The Comat was a very well maintained and clean guest house, was a little dated in some decor but was all very clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice and was beautifully cooked. We would definately stay here again.
on suite shower and toilet altho too small decoration and comfort was poor
very good overall package shower leaked
Lovely old fashion seaside hotel None worth mentioning
no bar, and dog smell
