It was a short stay but everything was fine, nice relaxing atmosphere. Good access to the airport. Shuttle bus to airport available but not early enough for our flight. Service starts at 6am
Nice hotel for reasonable price
Comfort of the bed. Great shower and toiletries. I do not like the room layout as a huge mirror blocks out any daylight. Also, there should be an icemachine located on at least every other floor. Poor lighting for sightimpaired guests.
Amazing hotel - The hotel was classy, smart and decor was modern and sophisticated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bedrooms were amazing. The view we has of the Forth Rail Bridge was wonderful and the room was decorated will attention paid to every detail. Complete luxury from the moment we arrived. The bar was well stocked and not over priced. Despite the hotel being fully booked with a wedding party staying the bar had plenty space for my husband and I to enjoy a few romantic drinks before bed. I would have prefered a bath as well as a shower in our room however the shower there was very powerful, hot and big enough for two. If the hotel hat a swimming pool it would perfect.
Clean, modern, comfortable and not far from town. Some lighting in the wardrobes behind the bed would help.
Nice warm welcome at reception, the girl was very efficient and friendly. The welcome cocktail was a lovely surprise too. nothing.
Very modern and clean. Free internet access. No food or room service after 10pm
the internal setting can be rather expensive for drinks and meals
Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff, nice food and would stay there again. Probably the location. A little bit out in the sticks
Great welcome, nice quality, clean, modern, good food...very impressed. Breakfast room service was very disorganised and slow, plus this hotel is a bit pricey on food and drink.
varied breakfast, comfortable and spacious beds and cleanliness, throughout. Friendly staff too.
Staff were very friendly, polite and always willing to help. The food and menu selections were excellent
A friendly welcome in comfortable surroundings. Good restaurant food at fair prices. We would stay again. We were lucky in getting the room with the spa bath. Unfortunately the room stank of tobacco smoke.
The service was quick and with a smile. The receptionist went out of her way to be helpful. The hotel is convinient and the restaurant is open till late
Quality of fittings, good breakfast
The staff were superb, the accommodation was excellant.
Friendly staff, ideally located for the purpose of my visit and fair price
Clean and comfortable with all facilities you could need but without ostentation. Great breakfasts cooked to order. Good value. Nothing.
good location, parking and pet friendly
Friendly Staff, excelent food, wifi access in room the shower was rather feeble & of inconsistant temperature
Only there one night so saw very little of hotel arrived 17-30 hours bar had no cask beer so went into North Queenferry and had dinner at a pub, left hotel 7-30 hours, but was very handy for Rosyth Royal Dockyard. See above, did not read any reviews about hotel the company we were visting reccomended it.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Great views over the firth of forth
Easy to find, great atmosphere, good breakfast in bed, spacious room & friendly staff View from room was pretty naff, our floor was a building site, very expensive breakfast
special menu for sunday meal, for 12.95 was excellent value for money and had a lovely meal.
rooms were nice good value for money had anice stay we were put in the wrong room to start with staff were good and sorted it the room we got had a dirty bath had not been clean had a fair bit of hair in it again staff were good and got it cleaned
An excellant location for the kingdom of fife & 30mins into Edinburgh but what a walk and views onto the forth road bridge only 2 mins from hotel. The package was half board Romantic with champagne & chocolates on arrival and sadly we are still to recieve the chocolates had to prompt staff about the package and as for half board we got £20 of our food bill so much for half board.
the food was excellent and the reception staff very helpful as was the restuarant staff Bar staff took 10 minutes to get a drink and had to keep repeating the order even though i ordered 2 drinks
Reception: particularly friendly and pleasant Noise level: M90 !! Forth-Bridge
The convenience - we were attending a wedding anniversary being held there. The views from the dining room were impressive. The amount of staff (and experience) helping out at the bar in the Caledonia suite.
Very friendly helpful staff
Didn't have time to use the full hotel facilities / equipment
Nice Health Centre, and helpful staff Health Centre members monopolate parking spaces nearest reception area.
Modern, clean - garden room bathroom Bedroom smaller than anticipated
Excellent rooms, fantastic food. Great location and very quiet rooms. swimming pool and spa were very nice and close to reception. All staff very helpfull and meals were good. I will be staying there again.
The hotel was very clean and friendly. The resturant menu was very small and being a fusy eatter I would not eat of there simple foods would have been ok, however breackfast was lovely with a hugh choice of varietys
really liked the view from the room and the spa facilities were absolutely fantastic really nice swimming pool and jacuzzi etc wasnt overly impressed at the food in the restaurant based on the prices but very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and had a very pleasant stay
just being able to relax and there was no rush with anything , all the staff were really god and very helpfull.
Very comfortable clean good sized room. Good leisure facilities. Very good food. Friendly staff.
Staff pleasant and helpful. Showers in pool changing room could be better. Taps that stayed on rather than having to constantly hit the tap would be appreciated.
Location, staff, good value
we had the disabled room which was very spacious and clean.
Staff were extremely helpful
although the hotel was very busy, the staff were very attentive
Helpfulness of staff especially at 4am when we arrived alter than expected due to a puncture on car.
relaxing in nice comfortable surroundings after a busy day at knockhill racing course.
Accessibility for the local area of Dunfirmalilne and Edinburgh
The friendliness of the staff and manner in which they efficiently dealt with any request, e.g. I was provided with a AA-route to enable me to get home. The smallness of the bathroom.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and the efficiency at which they processed my check in.
Room was clean although a bit small. Good bathroom, clean and functional. The breakfast was poor.
Good location. Meal options and menus good with great views from the restaurant and bar. Cooked breakfast was good. No choice of cereal, fruit etc for breakfast. Room looked out to street side of property so no real view.
Easy to find, stunning views and bars has great food & atmosphere
We arrived very late in the hotel but the staff received us very friendly. The room is small but with everything you need. And our room had a little balcony. The view to the railwaybridge is stunning.
Excellent staff and service with the location an added bonus, the manager Craig was a gem and so helpful, the food was wonderful and made our short stay so pleasurable,we are contemplating booking for either Xmas or New Year. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff. P.S. the new lounge bar is brilliant! If any fault can be levelled why oh! Why did you not double glaze the room windows at the front rooms of the hotel.
Beautiful view and lovely town. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. No lift, so might need to consider if you can't carry your suitcases up stairs.
nice comfortable hotel My wife paid the bill .They charged here 130 pounds although the internet price was 79 pounds, including breakfast.I noticed this error when I was already on my way home.
really cute hotel in S. Queensferry, only 15 minutes from airport, excellent cafe with great views, free wireless, excellent shower, super helpful staff standard room was small and without view, bed could stand upgrading, no elevator (but ok considering good rate).
Great setting with vies of both bridges from the bars The budget rooms look onto other rooms windows as they are between the old building and the newer building, also parking is either on the street or on a free car park a few hundred yards away.
Fantastic view of Forth Rail Bridge from bedroom and restaurant windows.
Excellent Service all round. Fantastic rooms
Very nice convienent hotel, staff were very friendly, and rooms had everything needed for my stay
Comfortable bed Food average at best.
Great location, really nice staff and very clean. Disliked nothing at all.
The hotel is very well located for seeing the sights of dunfermline. on our arrival the heater in our room wouldnt work the receptionist alocated us another room straight awayshe even put the heating on before taking us there.
Town centre location Dead insects in the lights
Good location, clean and tidy room and overall comfortable. The comfort of the room.
Staff were very friendly Hotel needs redecorating and updating, including wifi
City centre location. Free parking in front of hotel after 5pm and rear after 6pm. None.
Lovely location on the hill. Nice, friendly staff, good restaurant and two cheerful bars, cheery and homey decor and ambiance, nice, comfortable bed. The price was right. It took me a while to figure out the heat, but it worked fine after that. Checkout of 11:00 was too early. The room was rather small, but for one person I guess it was ok.
room was great remote parking
he Staff were very friendly and corteous Yes too many people trying to gain entry too room while in Bed
Excellent room ,comfortable bed, great whirlpool bath, nice touch having cd player and built in dvd player Reception was often unoccupied - including when we arrived and checked out. Noise from the nightclub meant that my colleague had to ask to change rooms.
Nice and friendly place. Good restaurant and very good breakfast.
City centre location Main doors not available for use, requiring guests to use a side entrance.
This B&B is in a small, quaint, old Scottish village on the Firth of Forth. The ambience of the area is overpowering & one everyone should have the chance to enjoy.
We loved the little town where the hotel was placed. And the hospitality of the hotel staff!, They made us feel, great!
Location convenient, but no parking. One electrical socket was condemmed. Bathroom decor was very tired but it all had character.
Location to the place I was visiting See below
The hostess was very helpful, she even called around for another room in the village for my surprise guest. The room was very pleasent although it was quite small. And the breakfast was cooked just as I requested. I had to use a bathroom one floor up and the toilet would not flush.
The double room I stayed in was very big and warm Bed matterace on double bed was bent and very uncomfortable, suggest new matterace
Friendly welcome, helpfull staff. Nice clean hotel.
Very helpfull staff, looked after me very well. A great breakfast was included in the price and was a wonderful way to start the day.
staff were very good, we stayed to attend a wedding but would go back again
The hotel was warm - welcoming and comfortable, car parking was also good and convenient. The food was excellent, and the service good and efficient It would have been nice to have had a mirror in the bedroom - only one was in bathroom - and using hair dryer 'blind' wasn't easy. a dressing table would have been good too - although with it having been single room, would have been a little cramped. Maybe the tv on the wall, to make room for small dressing table?
The food was execllent Chef should be complimented. The rooms were not the best bit small and short on instructions re fire insts. Could not find any.
Nice pleasant staff. Clean rooms. Will keep in mind for future trip to Scotland. Front entrance could be a bit nicer carpet inside door needing cleaned.
The bar was good and the locals friendly, a good local. The staff were friendly and the room was value for money.
Easy to find, no hassle car parking, conveniant for the reason for my trip, simple yet efficient, good value for money.
Friendly people Rooms very noisy
Welcoming helpful staff Sound proofing could be better.
Food was excellent as was the staff None
good location. staff helpfull, staff coped with the breakfast when owing to the snow the chef was late arriving
Disappointed with the location advetised on the internet. It was a good 15 mins from Edingburgh airport. It was advertised as only 7 miles. It cost me £18 in taxi as it was late at night & no buses running. I was due to spend my last night there as it was supposed to be closed to airport but I cancelled & just got the airport express bus from Edinburugh city
Very polite staff, comfortable room and good food To be honest, We would say that there wasn't a thing to complain about.
Breakfast very good value for money. Noise from "Boy Racers" at McDonalds next door and other inconsiderate Patrons outside front door. Weather was wonderful which meant the room was very hot and unable to get hardly any air.
Very efficient, courteous and friendly staff.
Value for money Noisy room - could hear occupant above walking
Location Price!, We paid the most of all the guest staying at the hotel that weekend and were most annoyed at being told this by the manager infront of our party
Excellent location to access the Forth Bridge without the hassle of the local Edinburgh traffic.
Staff were very helpful at reception and the rooms were clean, very happy experience.
1St floor links with restaurant Can't think of any
