This was a beautiful place. We had a very romantic room...balcony, view of countryside, tastefully decorated. Loved the big bathroom...very clean and well-kept hotel. The staff was helpful and spoke English...and tried very hard to understand our Italian! Beautiful area, and quiet, historic setting.
There is a lot of activities, we did quad over the ETNA Invasion of bugs
The quiet environment and the lovely pool area. Good breakfast and well kept rooms. Poor TV reception
vERY NICE STAFF. Poor pool. Tennis course was not healthy.
Great staff and great food! Very impressive place! The
The location and the view was amazing nice swimming pool and terraces
We rented a Jr Suite at the Borgo hotel for 5 nights. The staff were very friendly and took care of our every need even before we asked for it. All basic facilities were available and one has the choice of ordering half-board dinner by the day. The place is in a remote suburb called Mitogio very close to the river so close you'll be able to hear it. Dinner is occasionally provided at a hotel Casa Delle Monache or alternatviely at the Borgo hotel which provides a nice change of environment for halfboarders. The place is quiet remote and I didn't notice any public transport so be sure you have your own. Dinner is occasionally provided at a hotel Casa Delle Monache and I wouldn't advise walking there at night. Luandry service could be a lot better. No internet available. No eating or drinking in rooms.
Good value for money and excellent location. Excellent breakfasts: dinner service also available. We would stay again if we were in the area. Not so much the stay itself - more the difficulty in finding it. Directions on the internet were a little vague.
Amazing location, great service, excellent restaurant, top price-quality ratio, great design of the room (masseria-like) N.A.
Fantastic location - easy to get to areas of outstanding natural beauty inland, the coast and more traditional resorts like Taormina. The Junior Suite was in a beatifully converted old mill building. The bed was comfortable, the room very sensitively upgraded and the en suite bathroom facilties excellent. Having to take dinner at a separate property at the time we were there was not ideal but this was almost certainly down to the fatc that the season hadn't really yet kicked in. The check in details and information were a bit sketchy. One had to locate a central reservation area at the entrance to the National Park and find someone who could direct you to the property which had been allocated to you - not a major problem but do be preparedto use a bit of initiative
