Pros: Andra, the host, gave very good recommendations for things to do around town, and booked all the restaurants and wine tours for us! That really made the experience extra special. The apartment was very comfortable, with good quality bedding and towels - fully functioning kitchen incl dishwasher. Garage parking was also easy and convenient for driving in and out.
Cons: The wifi was very spotty, didn't really work half the time, so I wouldn't recommend it if you need wifi for work. We were fine unplugging for our stay because Andra was able to help us with calls and reservations.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the centre of a quiet hilltop village this lovely hotel is a perfect place to enjoy a stay in the Langhe hills. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large modern bathroom and a sunny terrace affording countryside views. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in a small hotel with a wide selection of quality produce -the freshly made smoothies deserve a mention. Most notably Serena and Marco and their staff epitomised good hospitality and were charming and helpful at all times, going out of their way to help us make plans to enjoy the many activities the area has to offer; walks from the village through the vineyards, truffle hunting, winery tours, and shopping trips. The restaurant attached served excellent food and had a great atmosphere. Would love to return next year.

Pros: Absolutely a gem in Barolo. Location, staff, rooms & cleanliness !! For sure again
Cons: Nothing really - we had grandparents- it’s steep inclines in Barolo town just FYI
6.8 Good
Pros: It's a nice boutique hotel overall, the breakfast is very nice...the bed is comfortable and the shower is excellent!
Cons: The hotel has not lift, if you have lots of luggage is bit annoying to go up on the stairs. The room is rather small, and the automatic night lights are very sensible, so they light up at night if drop one leg over the bed...the price is quite high for what it is, and we were asked 20 euro in più per day for our dog, which wasn't written anyway on booking.

Pros: Best location, and modern bnb.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view, the hospitality and the location. The owners - a young couple - are very friendly, helpful and extrovert. They can help organise whatever and suggest trips and visits. The breakfast is perfect. I had to ask for a recipe of a delicious peach pie. We had morning coffee every morning on the terrace in full sunshine and with a 180 degrees view to the hills of Piemonte. They have two goats. Kids loved to feed them. Easy to find. Will definitely come back.

Pros: We stayed at this venue for our friends wedding - what a fantastic place! The views are stunning, the facilities were great. The food options during the day were limited but that was fine as there were options in town! Great swimming pool, cycling bikes with amazing views. Vineyards just around the corner as well.
Cons: The food options at lunch time could have been better - but there were options in town so it was fine.

Pros: We love the town of Monforte d'Alba and Villa Beccaris is always comfortable, relaxing and beautiful - especially the amazing views. This is our 3rd stay in the last 14 years and we will be returning in September. The food at breakfast is spectacular. The staff was very helpful in booking restaurants and winery visits.
Cons: Sometimes not enough seating available at breakfast and have to wait. This is probably only an issue when it's not warm enough for some people to eat outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location on the edge of the small town of Monforte d’Alba. Villa Beccaris has an all glass breakfast room with a spectacular panoramic view of the Piemonte hills. The buffet breakfast is very extensive with hot and cold selections. The rooms are lovely and the staff is very attentive. The location at the top of the town allows for great views and a pleasant walk to all the excellent restaurants in Monforte.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family of four spent a fabulous week there in early October and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The family who own and run it, and their staff, were friendly, warm and helpful. They were very busy but always made time to check on us and have a chat. The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed a shared balcony overlooking the valley, which was wonderful to relax on after a day exploring. Their restaurant is amazing! Be sure and book your table because it fills up, and for good reason. We ate several dinners there and each meal was delicious, including the wines. The breakfasts were varied and always had an assortment of homemade pastries, meats, cheese and vegetables. Novello is a quiet town and a wonderful location for touring the area. All this resulted in one of the best weeks we've had. Thank you for being such gracious hosts.
Cons: Nothing. We were never in want of anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is situated in what looks like a fairytale town! If you want a quiet beautiful Italian town then look no further than here in Novello. I came from Milan took four trains to get to Bra station then caught a taxi (turned out to be an Audi) which was €30 to get here and then I was kindly dropped back to the station by the staff. The man does not speak english but we communicated okay with hand signals and google translate. The breakfast is a good spread, the beds are big and the view is stunning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: comfy bed, friendly staff, clean
Cons: room was under the surface, rather dark
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with balcony. Comfortable bed. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Small esky with beer and wine available for purchase via honesty box. Exceptional position. This is our second stay and we would still return. Also great on site restaurant with local delicacies.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had planned to have dinner in the village of Barolo, but as we had a long day, we chose to dine in the hotel. I'm glad we did because the food was fantastic. This hotel is a great little gem in the heart of Novello.
Cons: There was nothing really bad about this hotel. The breakfast good and was comparable to that you'd normally find in most European hotels. Personally, I prefer a hot buffet style breakfast, but you normally don't find that in small European hotels. That said, the breakfast was still nice and had a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, etc.

Pros: Can warmly recommend this B&B after two amazing nights between visiting vineyards in the Barolo area. Outstanding hospitality from the hosts Maria and Maurizio - felt like visiting two old friends. The breakfast was something special in front of the fireplace with home made youghurt and home baked bread. A truly idyllic house with a beautiful and quiet location in the countryside. Inside, everything was really good taken care of and very clean. If we ever come back to this area - we know where to stay!
