Decorated with traditional wooden furniture and oak wood floors, the apartments at Ethno Village Stara Lonja feature LCD cable TV and well equipped kitchenette facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout. The accommodation is housed in an authentic wooden house dating from 1935 and renovated in 2011. Guests are free to use the barbecue on the covered terrace with a seating area. The property owns 10 bikes for rental, and short bike excursions around the area can be organised. Fishing trips, boat rides and canoeing on River Sava can also be arranged. The property provides a restaurant offering local specialities of the Posavina region. A fishing course can be organised at the property. The ethno village is located in the middle of Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, which features traditional cattle breeding and the first European village of storks. The village of Lonja is 500 metres away, while a sandy river beach is at a distance of 600 metres.
Pros: Our hosts were really friendly, easy-going and helpful. The little 'hamlet' of ancient wooden houses made for a tranquil setting, with room for our child to play. The old house stayed cool throughout the day, and so air-con wasn't necessary. The porch area was a great outdoor space where our puppy could stay out of trouble! The on line pictures don't do it justice.
Cons: Riverside beach a little to far to walk for our 3 year old, but we were able to get close enough by car.
Pros: The hosts are amazing, family run and super nice. they've put a lot of effort in making sure the guests are comfortable. you are in authentic century old houses, with nature all around you. Perfect for off the beaten track experience in Croatia.
Pros: + Friendly hosts, warm welcome, excellent hospitality + Beautifully restored old houses + Excellent food with ingredients from the own garden + great nature, peaceful environment
Pros: Attention hosts, very family based, nice meal home made, historical but updated accomadation, annimals in the neighbourhood, it looks like you've transferred to another time
Pros: The friendly owners who were great fun. Their knowledge of the area. Watching the storks.
Cons: Saying our goodbyes.
Pros: The very special thing about Ethno Village Stara Lonja is the staff. It is run by two brothers and their mother. All of them are extremely friendly and hospitable. For some reason they are always happy and also always happy to help. The brothers can provide additional services, for example canoeing, we did this, it was a lot of fun and very easy to arrange. They also provide meals, fishing trips. They give away fruit, fresh from the orchard and if you are lucky home-made liquor. Also the atmosphere of the place is so relaxed. An old traditional village with modern (though basic) alterations. I cannot recommend this enough!
Pros: Everything: the hosts, the place, the food, the quiet countryside.
Pros: It is really ethno place. Accomodation is in very old houses but inside you may find clean and comfort area. With Wi-Fi;) Important notice: you will need anti-mosquitos repelents during summer season. And the best ways (and only these) to achive ethno-village is route - from the north - Sisak, from the South Jasenovac. Don't follow your GPS through the forest!!! Area of village is very simillar to Polish Biebrza National Park. Hosts are very open and speak English very well. They offer canoeing as well
Cons: Everything was the best
Pros: Good food special prepared for us
Cons: The beds are a bit small for tall people
Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a tour desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi. The property offers bike hire and features a garden and children's playground. A continental breakfast is available daily at Pension Sava Turizam. The guest house offers a sun terrace. Guests at Pension Sava Turizam will be able to enjoy activities in and around Lonja, like cycling.
Pros: The owner was nice and friendly. Room was beautiful and dinner was delicious.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: Wonderful, unspoilt Croatia. Its like walking into a fairytail. Our host was extremely accomodating even when we arrived a day early! We were treated to traditional home cooked food all grown on the farm.
Pros: the location and the care with which the houses have been renovated, the silence, nice and interesting talks with the owner. I really liked my stay here, it's a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place, everything is well maintained and taken care of without overdoing it.
Pros: We were absolutely excited about the accommodation, this is a very special place to stay! The host is super friendly and knows many secret spots. The whole concept is so convincing and how he cares for the preservation of this heritage and traditional villages and the nature is absolutely exemplary! With only about 8 rooms it is very personal and so peaceful and quiet. The food is local and homemade with lots of love and passion! We could have stayed there longer! There is so much to do and to see in the area!
Cons: It's in the middle of nature and obvious that there are mosquitos etc., so be prepared. Also, there is no AC and it can be quite humid and hot in summer (there are fans, though). It's quite a long way from the motorway, but that's the downside if you want peace and nature!
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: They don't accept credit cards.
Pros: The manager was absolutely super. Caring, accommodating, eager to listen and to inform. We had such a nice chat! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone who likes the country and places of traditional character. The rural location was peaceful and I would certainly go there again!
Cons: We arrived at midnight ... It was not easy finding the room but !! we were seriously delayed passing borders in Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia because of the mass of Turks returning to Germany. No blame due on the owner/manager. He did everything in his power to help.
Pros: It is a lovely place to stay
Pros: Ilja was a very kind host. Other staff was nice too, they serve a very good dinner and breakfast! Really enjoyed our stay!
Pros: Very nice authentic rural houses. There are horses and farm birds, there is a pool and a little lake. A paradise for kids, our 8y old daughter loved it. For a girl growing up in a big city it was really an adventure. They grow tomatoes there, which she was allowed to water. She pet the horses. Тhe apartment was comfortable - one bedroom. The food was unbelievable good!!! Fresh meat, fresh vegetables. Awesome! The people were so nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Cons: Wi-Fi only in the restaurant, none in the room. But it is a nice break actually.
Pros: Great place! We spent one night here end enjoyed the quite area and the excellent food!
Pros: Beautiful quiet place with excellent food and super friendly staff. It was ours second stay and we will definitely come back
Cons: They have only one bicycle toddler carrier and since we have two kids we couldn't take a bicycle ride
Pros: Its very nice to stay thaer. Maja its a very nice person ;-)
Pros: Beautiful site located in peaceful nature. Great for a relaxing walk. There are friendly animals (horses) on the property. Food (local specialities) was delicious. Definitely something for nature lovers.
Pros: Exceptional wellcome from the owner and staff, traditional farm house from 1903, antique furniture and great comfort. Breackfast to return for
Pros: Everything. Space, location and the friendly and accommodating host.
Cons: bed was to short at least for me
Pros: Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, very nice host. Thank you, it was perfect!
Cons: Everything was just great!
Cons: There wasn't a fridge.
Pros: Friendly hostess. clean and comfortable property.

Pros: Awesome robes. Great bar and patio. Great staff.
Pros: The hotel is quite all right, bearing in mind that it is the only hotel in Pakrac. But the location is convenient, wi-fi was fairly good, the room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast quite good.
Cons: The receptionist was not always present at the desk, nor would she answer the reception bell, so one had to walk around and look for her so as to collect the key.
Pros: This is a neat and clean hotel with newly renovated rooms and friendly staff. Hotel has his privat parking. Surroundings of the city is suitable for motorbike tours.
Pros: everything just perfect.
Pros: Close to location of the business I was visiting so travel time in the morning was 10 minutes. The food was ok but there is a restaurant called Nada that is only 5 minutes away by car and the food is much better there.
Cons: The water supply to the shower was very weak.
Pros: Lovely property but not quite as described. Restaurant was in town and not even a bar or shop in walking distance so no good for motorcyclists like us. Owner very understanding and switched us to their hotel in Kutina which was brilliant. Same charge so an upgrade of sorts. Thank you to them.
Cons: The room hadn't been cleaned. The floor was littered with dead spiders and flies which signals that a lot of time has passed since the last sweeping and washing.
Cons: Noisy location ,not enough staff in restaurant, it could do with a good clean booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1
Cons: Too small bed cover.
Pros: Reception staff were really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us- really appreciate all their help.
Cons: Be able to pay via booking.com
Pros: The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Location is very easy to find.
Cons: Breakfast was rather poor.
Pros: many thanks to the helpful staff, they helped me with my business samples and everything.
Pros: Reception staff most helpful and accepted a date change due to travel delays. Bed comfortable, shower fine. Fairly quiet location, despite nearby bars, and close to motorway. Reasonable parking space off the road.
Cons: The hotel, which is quite dated, has had room refurbishments and for the price they are clean and acceptable. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel needs a major update to make it more attractive. Breakfast was meagre with little choice but just adequate for us with an early start. Bed linen of low quality. No restuarant.
Pros: Perfect, luxuriuos accommodation with friendly staff and super breakfast!
Pros: Near the motor Highway Free parking Breakfast Friendly staff
Pros: The room was very decent size. It was close to the highway.
Cons: We arrived 3 persons however the bed was ready only for 2 of us. So after 14 hours driving we had to prepare the bed ourselves which is not great. Moreover the breakfast was really fair. There was no cake or at least some croissants. Just bread, ham cheese eggs. The very basics.
Pros: All good

Pros: The food is incredible. The best bacon I've had in my life!
Cons: No window screens and no air conditioner. The room was very hot at night. (In July). Room was next to an outdoor light attracting many insects, so I had to sleep with the window closed.
Cons: Price for staying is different whether I use by Booking.com or book them directly. Officially price includes Breakfast. It was indicated on the door of the room. I asked them whether my breakfast include the price or not. Reception said Yes include, but it was not. Finally, I paid 7euro as breakfast fee and that meal was really poor.
Pros: The staff is lovely and incredibly helpful. The restaurant also has the best bacon I've ever had in my life. Bicycle friendly
Pros: The location.
Cons: We had a 2 single bed room, The beds were very small and short.
Pros: We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly host. She also helped us a lot by finding a mechanic for our car and finding a car rental service for a replacement car. Thank you!
