Location, breakfast, friendly staff We were totally pleased
No minibar, only an empty fridge
Hotel was in the city center and the rooms very comfortable. The Front office clerk was rather not willing to smile and tarnished our first impression after entering the hotel.
A small boutique hotel with comfortable, large rooms and contemporary decor, well situated in the old town opposite the church, with adequate street parking and a quiet setting - friendly and convenient, and good value for money.
The staff was very accomodating and friendly. It seemed they went out of their way to look after my needs.
Nice business hotel--but no air conditioning. The bed was a little uncomfortable but the room was nice. It's right downtown and almost new. Good breakfast! No air conditioning--but it was a hot night. The bed could have been better.
nice downtown location, good breakfast no minibar/fridge in hotel-room, you should like church bells at 6:30 a.m.
breakfast was excellent, had to ask for fresh towels every day. the room size is very small. there is no air conditioning in any hotel in Elblag, at 30degrees celsius and high humidity we went out and bought a portable a/c unit. it was unbearable without it. staff had one unit but wouldnt let us have it at any price... not wondering about that.
everything was good besides... ...impossible to use internet from our room, too far from antenna and even if there where 5 cables available in the room we did not succeed in using them. Breakfast is good but some warm food would be nice
The history buillding.
Excellent facilities, nice restaurant, kind staff - speaks very well in English.
all hm, any problem there
On arrival we were only given a double room with a small bed and one bedside table; our rented room was not available. On request we were upgraded to an apartment for one night before we could use the reserved normal double room. On checking out we were surprised that we had to pay a significant surcharge for the upgrade !!!, although we had made clear on arrival that we regarded it as a matter of customer orientation due to the inconvenience caused by having to move to another room.
We very pleased with our staying.Exspecially the staff was helpful and friendly. The tram was for a good help when going to the centrum. The weather was so hot that we really missed the airconditioning.(but fortunately our room was mostly in the shadow).
Free internet, good value for price. Guarded parking lot costs 4€ extra.
I wrote a mail with my comment, apart from the towels and the person who prevented us from sleeping the service in the hotel from parking staff to restaurant was fine and very friendly
Hotel room was previously used by smoking persons. It was difficult to sleep, because smell of smoke was everywere.
We were delighted with this hotel. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The restaurant was very good. A great place to see Elblog from.
The location was ideal and all the staff were very helpful if we go again we would like to book you. The food was not up to scratch it was better up the street we took Polish guest and they didn't rate it,also if you get a room at the front of the building the noise from the cars with idiots inand there radios full blast can be a nuisance.
We stayed in Hotel Pod Lwem because of it's location the hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent. No air conditioning in bed rooms. We could hear noise from traffic outside which would start quite early in the morning. Room were very warm at night time hotel could have provided cooling fans for rooms.
This is an excellent hotel with great rooms and lovely decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke multiple languages. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and a nice eating environment. The only slight donwside was that the restaurant seemed to be closed for evening meals most of the time
Modern design, clean room, contemporary feel to room decor, nice clean bathroom, good breakfast, lift. Room was too light at night, blinds needed to be darker.
everything was ok
This hotel was very comfortable. We were given a top floor loft suite that was very beautiful. The staff were very nice and gave us a map of Elblag to help us find our way around the city.
wonderfully convenient for Malbork castle, tourist train and walking area. parking and lift were also good, internet fast too! Nice to come somewhere that everything is as documented. our room a bit small - friends had better
Located on the main street so very handy for centre. No air conditioning and was very hot whilst there. My room was on the side of the main road so I was unable to leave windows open due to traffic noise. The main door is locked at 11pm so security have to let you in after then.
Other than the Castle, there is very little to see or do in Malbork. If interested in seeing the Castle, recommend staying in Gdansk and doing just a day trip to Malbork.
would stay again
Spacious room (tripple); good service; OK location for exploration of Malbork and its showplace (the castle); acceptable choice at breakfast. Hotel is situated at the very end of the main (?) street of the Old Town, close to the busy transport route: that makes it very easy to find, if you are coming by car, however that also contributes to noise at night
close to the train station and the castle. it felt very hot in the room (we stayed in August), we did no tlike the surroundings (busy road).
the location and the value for money. the restaurant was also excellent. the hotel rooms could have a fridge.
Location; room (enough space for 2 adults and 2 children); food
Receptionists were very helpful, restaurant had great food and service, room was very clean. We had noisy next door neighbours, but when we called reception to report the noise, it was sorted out very quickly. That smoking is allowed in every area of the restaurant. We had a 6 week old baby and were disappointed to learn that there wasn't a designated non smoking area. No stairs from the basement car park - only a lift. Even reception confirmed there are no stairs. My wife doesn't like lifts and any how shouldn't there be stairs in case of a fire?
The staff were very helpful and they allowed me to leave my car in the car park longer so I could visit the castle. The duvets were to small for the beds.
Very central location, helpful staff. There is a disco in the basement of the hotel, which was loud. Also party-goers on the street could be heard. The disco/hotel combination is rather unfortunate.
Quite nice location in the restored old town of Elbląg. Large, clean room and very kind and helpful staff. Good variety at the breakfest buffet.
I would like there my species room with new furniture and desk. I did not have phone in room there, rooms are too noisy and I head very noisy voices my neighbours at the evening. The hotel is situated too close at the living people, my window were couple meters from some home.
Staff helpful, breakfast good. Bathroom was not perfectly clean. There was not internet signal in my room, either in restaurant. However on website was written that WiFi is on whole hotel territory.
Hotel is well designed. Interior looks very welcoming! The rooms are big, clean and comfortable! Attitude from the personal is very nice (f.e. they tried to find Latvian TV channels through SAT). Very good price for such comfort! Why in the booking.com it's mentioned as a 5* hotel? Is it mistake? It's definetly not 5* (f.e. reception works only until 21:00), but that's not so important.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel. We went for a romantic getaway and we really enjoyed it. Candle light dinner in a stylish restaurant and a bottle of wine delivered straight to our room;all included in price. My fiancé went for a quad ride and I treated myself to a relaxing massage. It takes a short walk through the forest to get to a beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are big and clean, food delicious and the stuff very helpful. We would defenitely come back. Next time we'll take yoga classes! The weater was rather cold and we didin't swim but if bored one can always take a bus to Gdansk- it's old town is really worth seeing!
Nice staff, good price (it was 20 euro for double room epr night). It is definetely not a 5 star hotel. Also it is far from Gdansk and you need to cross Visla. In November ferry boat do not operate and you need to drive to the nearest bridge.
The Manager was excellent in enabling me to make alternative bus travel and to catch the canal boat trip next morning from Elbag wharf. Cleanliness and room comfort made the stay very good.
Great location for the train station, a bit of a walk to the centre. Did only stay for one night, but everything was as expected. The restaurant close early, but there is a McDonald right across the road.
The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel room was very big and comfortable. The hotel was ok, staff friendly. The only negative it's the cleansy of the room. They changed the towel on our request after 4 days of staying.
breakfast was excellent! interior
Location is good, rooms are clean and comfortable. We booked an extra bed in the room, but the staff was not informed about it.
The appearance and style is right out of the communist era, but the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good.
Price and location Food and dinner
very friendly and skilled personal, value for money, breakfast Main concern: mattress was very old and full of spots, Second comment: carpet in the hallways need replacement, sofa at the reception area was very worn
Breakfast Location and room decoration
This Pension has really beautifully equipped rooms and dining room, separat kitchen for guests during the day (possibility to cook for your own) and very sincerely service. When having a car Gdansk is not far away and this town is worth a trip!!! The beach is also not far away and it was definetely not crowded! I enjoyed my stay there, especially to relax - also commendable for couples who don´t like staying in crowded places. You had to pass a little forest before reaching the seaside/ beach... Note: only cash-paying possible (no credit card).
Very kindly and home-like atmosphere.
Beautiful, calm neighborhood with forest and beach. Rooms are clean, with new furniture. Staff is very kind and helpful. You have to prepare meals by yourself, however kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary things (oven, microwave, fridge, dishes, cutlery, etc.)
Nice new building in a quiet location Hard to find as it is located in an area of family houses without any navigation
New building with big and nice rooms in peaceful area. Good place for families and 8 km long beach is nearby. Very nice place to swim and relax! - breakfest not included/available, but there was good kitchen (with owen, microwave, frigeration) in use.
Very nice place to stay. Perfect for family holidays, qiuet place. Helpful stuff. I would recomend this hotel for everyone No
Excellent choice for our family stay with younger children. Friendly owner and very clean everywhere. Since being a bit outside Gdansk a car is good to have but not essential. Clean beach and water. We made several trips to Sopot, Gdynia and Malbork and enjoyed our stay very much. We would love to return! Nothing at all.
for those who want to have quiet leisure and relax. ~800 metres from the beach, kitchen available, few small shops, groceries around. Also few bars which serve fish which is caught nearby. This is more of a pension than hotel. Very nice nature around. Bicycle paths, woods. And the staff made everything for our stay to be perfect. The place is rather far from centre of Gdansk, so you'll be far away from all the activities in the centre.
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDABLE! Our choice of this hotel was predominantly based on all previous reviews – and we were not disappointed! Extremely helpful and service minded owners, speaking excellent English. Very clean, well-maintained and safe hotel in a quiet surrounding. The large garden with beautiful patio surrounded by a fence - prohibiting attempted escape from small children. To our happy surprise, a very generous breakfast was served and included in the price! No problems (clashes or queuing) with the shared kitchen - don't let the "kitchen-sharing" discourage you. Closeness (~300 meters) to a grocery with long opening hours (even on weekends) and walking distance to several eateries. Bus line on the main road (200 m from the hotel).
Location is good - easy short walk to center Pretty exterior (though rooms themselves are basic and nothing interesting). Cheap Beds were comfortable enough for decent sleep. Close walk to Warka pub which had good atmosphere and amazing staff. No shower curtain or glass even thought the photos showed them - so wet bathroom. We asked to switch to room with curtain and lady said there were none and handed us an extra towel. Rooms are not soundproof as claimed. We stayed on side with no trains but at 5:30am were woken up by banging doors, taxi drivers talking outside, constant car doors shutting. Night time is quiet though. I would stay here again just based on location and price but it's nothing special.
A very nice family hotel, the rooms are spotlessly clean and have a brand new look, although ours was a bit smallish, but had a balcony overlooking a neat backyard. The beach is about 15 min walk (1km). The breakfast was quite good, nice selection and a proper espresso(!!). The owners are a nice couple who look after their property very well and seem to make everyone feel at home. Would definitely recommend Villa Atrium as a place to stay. none
