The front desk staff was excellent, and helped solve our travel problems.
There is actually an error on the website. It was listed as two star, but other websites listed it as the appropriate four star rating that it deserves. Nice pool. Staff was excellent. Internet wifi was adequate although a little bit intermittent.
The 'hot breakfast' was limited to two hot food items. One or two more 'hot' items would have been better.
The gym was completely non-functional. The food was expensive and average at best. The sleeping accomodations qualified for a 'motel' experience and the staff was non-existent.
The price included wifi access in-room and continental breakfast, and the hotel is easy to find and get to. The continental breakfast is cereal, granola, ok fruit, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, milk, bread.
The hotel is next to a very noisy area. There was very loud music all night (didn't stop till 4am), due to the fact that it was a friday night. So loud that it keeps you from falling asleep and wakes you up even if you manage to fall asleep.
Stayed for three days and found this to be lovely hotel, beautiful courtyard, friendly staff, okay restaurant, all amenities - gym, pool etc. I would have absolutley no complaints had it not been for my experience at checkout. I had a small bill to pay and handed over my card but it would not go through their machine. They insisted there was no money on my card which I knew was not correct so I called my bank who confirmed I had plenty of money on card, and pointed out that they would never give that reason even if true. An hour later, they were still trying to check me out , making numerous phone calls supposed to be trying to obtain authorisation which they said was declined. Again, my bank said this was not the case and they had not even received request for money. Eventually after two hours, the hotel took me to bank for cash machine where I had no trouble withdrawing money. I had no problems with my card before or after my checkout experience. There seemed to be something wrong with their machine or phone links. Other than this, I could not fault hotel but this experince would defintiely put me off staying again.
