Pros: Excellent value, everything thought of by host. Fantastic. One of the best stays I've ever had in the Barossa. Thankyou
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property is called a B&B, but people have different expectations of what that implies. This was a cottage for hire with breakfast provided for you to prepare yourself. You get the entire half of the duplex to yourself, and don’t see the owner. That suited us perfectly, especially as it was very well run. The house was immaculate, and had everything you need - full kitchen, gas heater, comfy lounge, comfortable bedroom, dining table, full laundry with washer and iron. The instructions were perfectly clear, no hassles at all. There is a dedicated parking under a car port. The breakfast was generous and diverse - cereals, free range eggs, premium bacon, bread, yoghurt, teas, coffee, milk, juice etc. it was more than we could eat over two mornings. they even put out some port - delicious. I would gladly stay there again and recommend it.
Cons: Bedroom doorway is a bit low - part of the rustic charm, but worth remembering in the night if your over 175cm or so tall. The bathroom is a good size with walk in shower, but it’s not an en-suite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage had everything we needed for a great stay. Very clean and well provisioned.
Cons: there was nothing I could fault
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage is situated in Angeston a beautiful historic town with all amenities a walk away. The location is perfect for visiting all the main Barossa attractions. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

7.5 Good
Pros: Service is good.
Cons: Facilities are dated, restaurant is average.
7.5 Good
Pros: nice breakfast. Nice accommodation. Pretty location. Food and staff at the restaurant were amazing. Easy walking to some very good wineries.
Cons: Staff (although welcoming and polite) didn't show us around the property when we arrived. We weren't made aware of the pool and sauna. We asked front desk if the hotel could drive us to a walk recommended by one of the staff at the restaurant, where we could see kangaroos. Staff had no one available so ordered us a cab that cost $100 for a 15 minute and back drive at 730am. We felt that if they could not drive us at that time, they should have offered to take us at another time, or at least warned us about the very high cab charge. This is a Relais & Chateau so that type of service we would have expected. Everything in the mini bar was a charge - the room was very expensive so would have expected not to have been charged, at least not for soft drinks. The above comments do not apply to the wait staff at the beautiful restaurant Appellation-- the wait staff was superb, well-informed and pampered us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, generous sized accomodation - more apartment /suite style, lovely staff.
Cons: Lack of a cosy bar (open fire, good atmosphere)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Louise has set the benchmark for future stays. Staff , room , food were all excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: it was a well designed apartment with a sense of privacy.
Cons: There could have been more free food in the room. I was asked to pay for biscuits when I left and asked if I could take them, with a small piece of cheese. I thought this was mean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: very comfortable, feel luxurious feel, staff is very nice
Cons: pool is not heated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed breakfast, but were disappointed with the Wednesday local produce night, which is supposed to be special. Chicken might be local, but it"s also local at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great having Appellations onsite to enjoy such fabulous cuisine & service. The breakfasts (which were delivered to the room) was a great start to the day. The staff were exceptional in their attentiveness & service.

Pros: Excellent accommodation and wonderful hospitality. Sophia, Leo and Peter were excellent hosts and ensured a very relaxed, happy and enjoyable experience . Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends.
Cons: Beautiful room and little extras. Great location to vineyards and wonderful hosts.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a great long weekend stay, walked to a local winery, and it didn't cost much for a taxi for nice restaurants. Sophia was a great host.
Cons: The bathrooms could do with a refresh, and it was difficult to know where to put our bags with storage being an issue.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Warm and friendly host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sophia and her family have lovingly restored a heritage Federation-era building and turned it into a cute bed and breakfast. The building is beautiful; the rooms are large with reverse cycle air-con/heater; the beds are comfortable; the complimentary perks are welcome (wine on arrival, port and chocolates in our room). The breakfast was delicious, cooked by Sophia to order. And Zeus the cat was also very welcoming. Highly recommended, my partner and I will be back.
Cons: Only issue was one of the complimentary bikes had a flat tyre so we couldn’t use it, I’m sure that is easily fixed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tasteful decorations and comfy bed, and cutefurry friend. Love the stay, would do it again!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Set in the heart of wine country, tastefully decorated room and wonderful hosts!
6.8 Good
Pros: The ladies who made breakfast were lovely and did a wonderful job. The room was nice and as pictured. Location was good.
Cons: For $317 a night you get a room out the back and not in the house proper (sadly) plus the internet didn't work for us after having to call and request a password as one was provided at check-in, we couldn't watch a movie on Netflix as advertised as the remote for the Apple TV would not work. There is tea and coffee making facilities but no milk was provided. There is nowhere to hang any clothes, no ironing facilities just to give a top a press before going to dinner either so you go out crumpled. There is a nice picture of a lounge with a cosy fireplace but if you are out the back in the extension and not in the house proper then you do not get to make use of the nice facilities inside unless it is breakfast...again very disappointing. We did call to advise that things were missing or not working but nothing could apparently be done. We would have got much better value and paid less had we stayed elsewhere. Do your homework and look about, we saw other nice places for much less. Paid more as we figured for our 25th wedding anniversary that if we paid 50% more than a hotel then the experience would commensurate to that, Sadly not. Nice house if you have access, check before booking if you are in the house opposed to an extension off the back, that you have access to a cosy fire and that all advertised facilities will be operational.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Drinks in the lounge room and the beautiful breakfast

Pros: Very neat and tidy. Everything you need for a short stay.

Pros: Small touches were evident throughout. ie: complimentary biscuits, milk, champagne

Pros: An older "styled" Cottage and Decor for those that love the more colonial touch. Very clean which was nice. Comfy bed. Continental Breakfast. Bottle of Bubbly in the fridge on arrival with chocolate Fudge waiting. Bikes available and a share Hot Tub.
Cons: Not necessary to say.
8.3 Excellent

7.5 Good
Cons: Advertised as fully serviced but our room was serviced once in the 4 nights we were there. It was Easter & the owners went away but we were also paying guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our first time in the Barossa Valley. The property was very close to the heart of Tanunda, which is in the heart of the Barossa. The property was clean and well appointed. The owners ensured that there were sufficient supplies for our breakfasts and the complimentary bottle of champers was a very nice touch. The spa, sauna and pool, even though we were too busy site-seeing to use them, were another very nice touch.
Cons: Our only constructive criticism would be adding an extra pillow for each person to make two would be nice. We both also found the bed a bit firm, but others might find them just right. Personal preference here.

Cons: couldn't get the screen door to lock but we did not ask our hosts how to which we could have if we wanted to leave the inside door open

Pros: Perfectly placed to stroll to Angaston and to explore Barossa area Extremely comfortable, spacious and tastefully appointed accommodation Welcoming, friendly hosts who gave us many terrific tips to make the most of our 3 night stay Could easily have moved in and never left
Cons: Absolutely nothing to be disappointed about here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hosts who have made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A surprisingly spacious unit attached to the owners house that caters to all that you require for a short stay in Angaston while visiting the Barrossa region. Just off Angastons main Street the White House is perfect to wander from for dinner /more drinks after a day visiting the vineyards. The rooms are all well appointed, beds very comfortable, with electric blankets for those cold nights in winter The hosts are friendly, helpful , provided yummy continental breakfast fare & a bottle of a local red on arrival to a wonderfully heated unit. Many thanks Alicia & Anthony
Cons: This is not a "didnt like" but a point to note that may cause issue for some- if booking to stay using the whole unit ie 2 bedrooms, be aware that the bathroom is accessed from the master bedroom area. While this was no issue for us as a family, if you were less well acquainted or someone required frequent bathroom visits in night it may be an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners and great location and good facilities.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What lovely thoughtful hosts we had at the Barossa White House West Wing! Alicia checked in with us daily to ensure we had everything we needed and I could see great care has gone into creating a comfortable and luxurious space. All the little details; like soft sheets, a decent hair dryer, moisturizer in the bathroom and a make up mirror have all been considered and supplied. Anthony and Alicia also provided a great binder with great recommendations and were also available in person for additional recommendations. Easy walking distance to Angaston town and a stones throw from wineries and the CHEESE company! Super comfy mattress for a restful sleep with both sheer roller blinds and block out blinds. Access to Netflix and wifi in a private lounge was a home away from home. Great communication leading up to the stay; which made you feel really valued.
Cons: Not a huge range of dinner options in Angaston town which Anthony and Alicia prepared us for and had some great recommendations for making reservations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Myself and my partner loved our stay at the Barossa White House. Alicia and Anthony are welcoming hosts. Not only did they go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable but they provided really nice homely touches within the accommodation. Alicia and Anthony provided so much information on the local area, places to eat and things to see! The house was in perfect condition and cleanliness. LOVED the location as well!. I could not recommend this accommodation more! It has you amongst everything Barossa has to offer (walking distance) plus has the perks of homely accommodation that includes wifi & Netflix!!!. Thank you for our stay! We hope to be back in the future.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners are fantastic. They will bend backwards to make your stay special and memorable. We got to learn them during our stay and shared many thoughts about our mutual interests and travels. This just makes your stay that extra special and comes very natural. You have your own 2-bedroom apartment with ensuite and living room. The property is located just outside the centre of the village with all locations around the corner within a very short walk.
Cons: There is nothing to fault or criticise as advertised and we thoroughly recommend this premise. Personally, we would have liked the option to get a broader selection for breakfast which was too limited for our taste. This would have better matched our otherwise exclusive stay. However, this is solely a personal preference and may not be shared by other guests.
6.5 Good
Pros: location
Cons: I was text on the Thursday before arriving on Saturday from what I realised where the owners of the property explaining it was an apartment attached to their house (too late to change accommodation). After receiving this I was extremely disappointed realising it wasn't a private property but we have the owners onsite - there was ABSOLUTELY NO CLUSE ON THE WEBSITE BLURB INDICTATING THIS. If there was I would NEVER have booked this place - completely not disclosing an accurate picture of the accommodation at all. I also received 3 voice message before I arrived then 6 text message throughout the course of our weekend's stay - TOO MUCH. Whilst they were friendly people - its way a complete invasion of privacy and not accurate reflection the accommodation. Coupled with a 15 minutes induction of the apartment with our guest opening the cupboard door to show us the cheese board! Really...... we are both well travelled and can figure things out ourselves. The only negative to our weekend but still a big impact on our overall stay in the Barossa - super disappointing and advertising should be clear.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alicia & Anthony were great hosts, they checked in on us all the time and were greatly organised with their suggestions of where we could visit and eat and drink. Place was clean and safe and comfortable, we even had access to a living room with a HUGE TV. Property was in a really convenient locale with short drives to the cellar doors. Only have good things to say about them. Greatly enjoyed our stay in Barossa.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was spacious and comfortable and only a short walk to Angaston central. The hosts are right next door and were helpful and friendly.

Pros: It was quiet and the hosts were very welcoming. Excellent breakfast provisions and coffee making facilities.
Cons: The bed in the main room was very firm. The lounge is old and needs replacing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every little thing was provided including a bottle of local wine
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was very quiet, people were extremely nice and welcoming, facilities were very good for 2 people and there was ample provisions for breakfast. Also in a very good location for the Barossa wine tasting
Cons: Air conditioner only really cooled the lounge room - would be better in the bedroom Minor maintenance was needed - wardrobe drawers, kitchen extractor fan and the front screen door wouldn’t close properly The kitchen was ok for people who just want to whip up a quick meal here and there but would have been ill equipped for more than two persons or anyone who really wanted to self cater. A few larger pots and cooking utensils would help.
