Pros: Excellent location, warm and helpful welcome. Interesting old posters from previous existence as school.
Pros: Lovely guesthouse in an old school building. Friendly and helping tenants who recommended a good hike and provided extra bed for toddler. Several kitchens and bathrooms available. Confortable beds. The best accomodation we had in Northern Norway within our budget range.
Pros: Freedom to use the facilties
Cons: Bedroom wasn’t private , one had to pass through it
Pros: Location, staff, showers..
Cons: Missing pepper, salt, oil etc... In the kitchen
Pros: Wonderful breathtaking view at the end of the world. We have seen northern lights. Easy to access it, even if there was a snowstorm when we arrived. Frank probably help us to clean up the road before our arrival. We recommande a lot. Unforgetable souvenirs
Pros: This old school building must be one of the quirkier places I stayed in :) Great atmosphere, cozy decor (with the original old school stuff, literally...) and the view on the bay is just spectacular. A warm welcome by Karin, the owner, will make you feel right at home and her tips about Vesterålen will set you off in the right direction about what’s so special about this corner of Norway. All in all a wonderful experience.
Pros: It's an old school reaconditioned to a hostel. The room was very clean and the location quiet and perfect to visit Andenes sourroundings. We are a family of 4 and had a big room with 4 beds. Bathrom and kitchen sared with other guest.
Pros: Everythink was wery good. Very homeless place.
Pros: Eclectic set up in old schoolhouse. Nice communal kitchen and eating area. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Need cell phone access to call owner to check in.
Pros: We had a nice but short stay in this former school. The hosts were very welcoming and gave good information of site and island.
Offering free WiFi, Nyksund Ekspedisjonen is set in Nyksund. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a restaurant.
Pros: Location wonderful, jewel at the end of the world , charme, romantic, good restaurant
Cons: The smell in the bathroom, wifi out
Pros: Loved the terrace and the location. Staff was very forthcoming. Great Breakfast.
Cons: Very noisy seagulls, room was very hot (no airconditioning).
Pros: Location, food, athmosphere :)
Pros: Nice clean place in Nyksund which is an amazing location. Restaurant downstairs was surprisingly good given the remote location. The chef made us a very cute breakfast to go because we left early in the morning.
Cons: The little village of Nyksund is still being rebuilt/rennovated as of May 2018, so don't expect any town amenities (like a cafe, grocery store or more than one-two restaurants).
Pros: Cozy room, great service, great breakfast
Pros: nice clean room with a sea view and amazing restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff
Pros: We loved the complete surprise of discovering an extraordinary town built on stilts at the edge of the sea after negotiating a narrow cliff-side road. The mixture of carefully renovated dwellings with run-down abandoned ones is fascinating and speaks to the courage and determination of the people that keep this project going. The hotel lacks for nothing. We slept in charming tiny room with an adjacent sitting room with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with Nespresso machine and interesting teas. The restaurant is amazing and we recommend Slovenian chef Marco's perfectly cooked halibut. Breakfast too is outstanding.
Cons: We arrived before the check-in time of 3pm to find the hotel closed, and not a soul to be seen anywhere in the empty town. The hotel would do well to explain this in a note for the uninitiated arriving after the season, and without a Norwegian phone, as was our case.
Pros: Very good rolls and bread for breakfast.
Cons: Breakfast was very standard with little options.
Pros: The restaurant was fantastic. Great food. We ate there twice. Super location for visiting this part of Norway and walking the Queen's Route.

Pros: Nice Decoration, good facility
Cons: It was not very clear how thinks work. Better instructions would help....eg wifi how to pay and where breakfadt is served...
Pros: Simple and cozy, nice breakfast.
Cons: Shared bathroom and toilet facilities.
Pros: We liked the place We stayed with the Nice kitchen, clean and Nice bathroon. We loved the breakfast and the Ekspedisjonen restaurant!!
Cons: We would have liked a room to hang up and dry our det shots, cloths and backpack after viking in heavy rain.
Pros: We were in the "Loft" room, which was easily one of the most exceptional places I've ever stayed in. Fantastic views over the unique town, the sea, and the coastline. Gorgeous room. While we only spent one night here, I could easily have spent more, just relaxing in the beautiful room and looking out at those views.
Cons: Could use more blinds or drapes to block the nighttime light in the summer, but it was so comfortable we had no trouble sleeping.
Pros: It`s clean, warm and the family is really friendly. A place we truly can recommend. Don't miss the breakfast at the restaurant, it was the best we had on our entire road trip.
Cons: A great place, quiet and peaceful. Lovely equipped with small charming details. You feel right at home when entering.
Pros: Magnificent location. Nice buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: Not complaints but some things to be aware of: a bathroom/toilet room shared among 4 rooms with no other toilets nearby; somewhat squeaky wooden floors and doors; tight room with very small chest of drawers, a few coat pegs, and two clothes-hangers which have to go on those pegs; breakfast is served in a different building in five minutes walk; absence of own parking spots.
Pros: Nice tidy room, welcoming, value for money

Pros: The area was nice and we liked the sourindings.
Cons: The resutaurant did not have people that new how to serve wine or food - asked if we could use the same glasses for White Wine and Red Wine... They had no clue about food that was served that day - The fish of the day was informed not available... They wine we ordered were out of the Meny - but they served 'cheap wine' for the same price... Food was not good compered to the restaurant over the street we visited the evenig before... The vale for money in this stay was very isaponting - we stayed 2 nights and lucklily we brought our own Breakfast. Breakfast served in the restaurand was priced 125.- / each - for 2 days 4 persons we should have paid NOK 1000.-...????
Pros: The old style
Pros: They havd a good location in Nyksund. With Kitchennette . Nyksund itself was a special place which you can forget your room.Aurora just behind your window.
Cons: It was tooooo small. It has dust anywhere in floor , I left my socks on floor next day when I wanted to wear it, the color was changed by dust. It seems they are not ready for he guests in winter. So clean it carelessly. Also they offered us a dinner , we went to Myre and bought nothing from supermarket, when we reach the property they called us that water pipes are freezing and it is better to go to Myre for dinner! Imagin Myre-Nyksund road in winter, and we just come back from that road...
Cons: Bed was really too short
Pros: Location is awesome and unique.
Cons: Everything was a little bit disorganized. In the breakfast bread was moldy. Price and quality doesn't match
Pros: Though the room was simple, it was comfortable, and great view.
Cons: The stairs to the restaurant and the surroundings could be cleaner and less cluttered.

Pros: The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. Very close to supermarket and gas station.
Cons: A bit worn out hotel. Could use some renovation to be up to 2018 standard. The room was not tidied for the next night. Kysthotell gives the impression that it has sea view which it has not.
Pros: Super friendly straff. Excellent restaurant with great breakfast buffet and excellent a la carte dinner! Fresh local fish every day. Quiet and very clean. Plenty of parking. Perfect for a stop whilst traveling in Lofoten.
Pros: I'm so glad I decided to come to Langøya as it ended up being my favourite place in Norway, and this hotel is the perfect place to stay! It felt like heaven to come 'home' to amazing food in the restaurant and such a comfy room after cycling around and walking the Queen's Route hike. The best part was the staff, who were all really friendly and genuine and seem to like working there! It makes for a nice atmosphere. In short, it was a pleasure to stay here and I would love to come again.
Pros: staff is great food is good. clean hotel
Cons: Interior is getting a bit old fashion
Pros: Good value for money !
Pros: Location - it's close to Nyksund and Sto. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Wi-fi is excellent. Breakfast is ok. Complimentary tea and coffee in the restaurant. Clean room.
Cons: It's not a bad hotel, but the quality/price ratio is hard to accept - it's overpriced for what you get, even if you are in Norway. Furniture in the room is tired and all the bathroom, although clean, calls for immediate renovation. Last morning we had to take a shower in another room because there was a problem with hot water at ours.
Pros: Very friendly staff. There was a sami woman witch was very helpfull to give tips for excursions. Very good breakfast and dinner. Good bed.
Cons: Room looks a little old, however it was renovated.
