Staff was helpful and good for international travelers no negatives to comment on
Proximity to centre, air conditioned room
Clean and staff were very helpful very good location.Should advertise their menu a little more aggressively no
delighted with NH also stayed in NH hotel in Eindhoven
Large rooms, full size business hotel, flat screen TV with very good channel selection, convenient location. Room needs renovations, basic room amenities missing, carpets in need of cleaning, few amenities, small swimming pool, room service and cafeteria hours limited for a business hotel.
You pay for what you get!!
Room was very clean and comfortable, reception staff very helpful and breakfast offered a wide choice.
A very spacious hotel with good service. Menu del Dia in the restaurant was very good quality and value for money. Some noise coming through wall from adjoining rooms
Position and good service
The site is impressive and bedrooms of the usual high standard, but allowing for it's Grade 2 status we found this Parador a little gloomy, with the cloisters fully enclosed with glazing. It would have been nice if seating & refreshments were available outside in the summer. Well situated for touring the area. On arrival our reservation could not be found. Not a good start when arriving at 2100 hours. Thankfully they had space and we had taken our full booking.com reference with us. The adjoining chapel was undergoing repairs and the ground beyond the swimming pool area were unkempt.
Whilst the hotel was lovely and its position particularly impressive we were disappointed as we were not able to use the main facility attraction - the pool - as it was raining! The dinner was very disappointing.
The location in an old monastery was excellent We decided to eat in the restaurant of the hotel and did not much like the hurriedness and lack of enthusiasm of the serving staff. The dinner experience was not what it should have been.
Wonderful hilltop location, excellent food; rooms comfortable (we were in the modern extension near the swimming pool). We didn't use the pool but enjoyed the grounds The receptionist seemed a little harassed; the garden beyond the swimming pool was overgrown and neglected (but still had much charm)
Excellent Parador, outstanding location. ---------------------------------------
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, not much to do in the area/town. No outside eating/drinking areas.
Location was fantastic....services were excellent, and the feel of history was also great. Not really...thoroughly emjoyed our stay.
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms
Excellent and very helpful staff
Pleasant, friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money.
One of the very few places that understood english. They went out of their way to help us to find our friends. the photos on the website are very misleading. the hotel doesn't look like that at all.
Very friendly staff at reception , extremley helpful on morning we were leaving regarding booking taxi and information on public transport as we had completed our walk on the camino
convenience to camino de santiago, quiet room .
Receptionist on duty was very helpful and obliging. We were walking the camino and better signage for the hotel could have cut our extra walking time spent looking for it.
While walking on the comeno trail this hotel provided an ideal starting point and all five of us were delighted to have it available on the first noght before commencing the walk We had a slight problem in locating the hotel on the night . It would be ideal if it was closer to the bus s tation
Nice comfortable rooms Breakfast. No early breakfast available - well before 09h00!
Relaxing atmosphere, lovely flower garden, comfortable room, friendly staff even if we didn't speak each other's langauge
The Inn was a little difficult to find, but once there a very pleasant place to stay. They have a nice patio and quite attractive gardens although our room had a back-of-hotel view over a neighbourhood of badly maintained houses and sheds. Our room was very acceptable and the dining room was rustically charming with a varied menu. We believe it could offer better signage as at first we thought that the derelict house at the intersection was the property. Thankfully, that wasn't so and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the inn.
