Nice location, wonderful views and charming staff
The noise of traffic was high. Too much traffic in the road near the Hotel which can be heard clearly inside the rooms. No cafeteria in the hotel which is quite strange being it a 4 star hotel.

Delightful, helpful and professional staff. All recommendations were superb and we really enjoyed the area. Great breakfast!
Unfortunately our room was linked to a family room only separated by a door so it was incredibly noisy. This had a knock on effect on our rest. For the price we paid, we would have expected a quiet room.

Spacious rooms, modern and clean. Very good buffet breakfast. Location is perfect if you plan to spend time at the Lanzada beach with direct access. Staff very friendly too.
WiFi connection not great from the room. Good hotel but find it a bit overpriced - even knowing it was high season. However would still recommend.

The hotel was clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. We had a room with a sea view.
The reception staff left a lot to be desired. We had problems checking in and checking out. They couldn’t actually tell us what the problems were but it took a very long time. Check in time was from 2pm onwards. We arrived at 4pm after a very long drive to be told that our room wouldn’t be ready for another hour. There was no apology or offer of refreshments. There was generally no one on the desk if you needed anything. On more than one occasion they were outside having a cigarette which looks really unprofessional. There was no offer of local information or what to see and do in the area. I also felt very sorry for the goldfish in a bowl on the reception desk as the water was so dirty we could barely see them . Also, the photography of the hotel is quite misleading. It looks as though you are right near the beach but there is actually a busy road between the two.

Overview
The Pousada de A Lanzada is located in the isthmus of the peninsula of O Grove, with spectacular views over the A Lanzada beach, considered by some people as the most beautiful beach of Galicia. It is a heavenly 4-star hotel with 23 brand new rooms and a dream location. The Pousada has direct access to the beach through an underpass that crosses the road. The two-story building has a long history in the region of Salnés. Since 1927 this building housed the Sanatorium Gil Casares for tuberculosis patients, because the place was highly appreciated for its climate and its waters. Later, the building was a school for deaf-mutes, and in recent decades has worked as a vocational training center of hotel management of the Delegation of Pontevedra. Now, the Pousada de A Lanzada reopens completely renovated and adapted to its new destination as a luxury establishment. It has gardens, a spacious breakfast room and an outdoor parking. It is located on the beach, 5 km from the center of O Grove and 11 km from the center of Sanxenxo.
