DO NOT STAY HERE
Great for its price
I like how the main woman was very friendly and down to earth. I believe her name was Renee. I had a great stay here. It's not expensive and you can park for free on the weekends as long as they aren't Street cleaning.
I didn't like that there were blinds missing from the windows and no control for the Tv. But other than that it was a great place.
This is the only "hotel" I've stayed in that didn't have a shower inthe room. The motel I stayed in in Mexico was better than this and it had cement floors. But at least the curtains closes and I'm sure it had a shower. I'm sure it wasn't as expensive too. You can get an airbnb room for the same price as your room that is 100 times better.. you might share a bathroom but everything is very clean and doesn't smell like smoke and the blinds def close. I felt like I was on the set of a horror film. I had to go inthe closet to change and turn all the lights out to use the toilet so no one could see me from outside. I would never recommend your "hotel" to anyone, unless I really hated them.
Check in went smoothly. Room was "clean", although not kept up in repair and maintenance. There is a $20 key deposit.
The thought of a manually operated elevator sounded interesting to me, however there was no safety door and therefore literally nothing between me and the concrete passing by on our way to the 4th floor. The blinds were broken in the room, as many others have commented. The window was open when I entered the room and let me enjoy the sounds of men arguing downstairs outside of a sketchy convenience store. I decided to try the stairs to go back down, which did not comfort me as to the ability to escape in a fire. They were small, steep, and narrow. Did not end up staying here, although you could get by if you had to.
