The food cooked by the restaurant's hotel is excelent. The room is clean. Internet has worked excelent. The location was a little bit far from our visit point.
I am completely satisfied with everything. It was superb.
A very well-run comfortable family hotel with friendly staff. The bedroom was a good size, and we were also given a sitting room with a small balcony. The restaurant was excellent and we were able to eat outside in a delightful square.
The good service from the staff, excellent breakfasts and close proximity to the town.
It was noisy being at the front.
Restuarant Fully booked on my arrival ( a Wednesday) so had to have dinner in the town. Just a small issue, there could have least been a kettle in the room to make a Coffee, and toiletries were not supplied in the bathroom.
The breakfasts are very good, which was an unexpected pleasant surprise in the morning as the bedrooms are rather basic. The first thing we noticed on opening our bedroom door was the smell of smoke; as the hotel was far from full they could have given us a room which hadn't just been vacated by a smoker.
Excellent location in city of Biberach Mini-bar in our room was made empty.
Very nice hotel centrally located very comfortable and people very polite and helpfull Internet should be free 24 hours
It was convenient from the train station and then my clients offices The wireless internet connection was very poor. The curtains did not cover the windows completely waking me earlier than I wanted. Important with long travel days and large time-zone changes.
Let me check in even before the check-in time
Looked really nice and was very clean. Looks good but lacks anything else.
A very good breakfast, best on our recent tour of south Germany despite being the cheapest hotel we stayed in. Parking right outside the hotel and a short walk into the town centre.
Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. The spa area was excellent. Nice bar and restuarant (food). A bit out of town. Rooms a little old fashioned (but very clean).
The only four star thing in this hotel is the price. Very bad relation price/quality. In Germany it is possible to find several gasthof with same quality level but almost at half price.
I found the front desk staff and the bartender to be very helpful and friendly. The facility has a wonderful spa that I was unable to take advantage of.
The swimming pool complex only. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last week, and no way does it warrant four stars...except for the swimming complex. The rooms are very tiny, and beds small, no real luxury in them at all. No shampoo or conditioner, no safe, no aircon. Shower door jammed on arrival but soon fixed once we reported it, but bedside lamps did not work either. Breakfast no that good at all. Way ourside of Biberach town centre. Would I stay there again....NO WAY...for 4 stars I expect a bit of luxury, not a basic hotel. But the swimming pool complex was brilliant, we could not fault that at all.
Very friendly staff. Very clean, spacious room. On site parking. good restaurant, large breakfast assortment Our room overlooked beergarden so was a bit noisy, but nothing to complain about
Teasty home-similar food. Free parking and Wireless internet. Perfect breakfast.
Free internet, Good host owner, Good breakfast, quiet environment, Everything is fine, and best price a little far from city, but if you rent a car , it's ok.
The owner of the hotel is a really great person. He is so well-coming that he gave me the feeling I was a guest at his home.
excellent breakfast, friendly staff bathroom is small
The hospitality of the staff and the excellent food of the restaurant. Breakfast with large variaty of food and fresh fruit. Restaurant is worth visiting for the food alone. Good wireless connectivity. Wireless internet is still not free of charge as in most hotels nowadays
Very good fusion style hotel restaurant.
Only chose this hotel because we booked late and it was one of two available within reach of Biberach. During a 10 day trip to Germany we stayed in 9 different hotels, and this hotel offered the least value for money. It was fine for our needs but the room was rather small compared to others we stayed in.
A very nice hotel with quite a good breakfast buffet. As is to be expected, a fairly frequent train service passes close to the breakfast area but it is not intrusive. Has there been an eu directive about low beds? I hate them, but all the hotels I stayed in had these very low ones - just 50 cm or so off the ground and very difficult o get out of.
Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good standard continental style and the restaurant where we ate in the eveing was cosy and the choice and presentation of food was excellent. Could not find fault with the hotel other than it was a little tricky to find, but that may be because I was new to driving in Germany..
It's a two start hotel, you have to keep that in mind. I liked the fact that they provided free Wi-Fi, although the connection was a bit weak sometimes. But, well, it as free. Also like that they provided umbrellas and a cover for the cars windshield, so it didn't freeze at night. Breakfast was ok too. On the downside, there were some spiders and spider net in the room. Because they opened the room windows during the day, to freshen up the air (although it was cold), some annoying fly always entered the room.
Good facilities and restaurant. Breakfast good with real Bircher museli. Has a lift.
We liked the warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff. Parking underneath the hotel was available. The food was good and well presented. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.
If you are arriving by car make sure it is a small one as the hotel parking is a bit of a tight squeeze ! the restaurant guests use the limited parking space during mealtimes and the small car park fills up quickly..but it also empties when they leave.if this is an issue for you maybe by booking ahead the staff might reserve a parking spot..you can but ask.A pleasant and clean hotel with a nice breakfast and helpful staff. The sun was bright during my stay and the room curtains were thin and let in a lot of light, this is not a problem if you want to be woken early but an option of a blackout curtain might be appreciated by some guests.
We arrived pretty late and hungry; although the hotel restaurant was closed the owners offered us a good dinner at their tavern, thanks! Unfortunately I must admit it does not correspond to 4*. The rooms are pretty old-fashioned and, from my point of view, must be renovated; breakfast is rather poor. When we came downstairs about 9.00 breakfast was not finished but there were almost no meal left and the stuff did not even try to fill in what had been eaten.
This hotel, though to my knowledge not correctly described as a proper 4 star hotel (as stated), is a great option should you find yourself in need of accomodation in its region. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and offer a cosy feeling. The whereabouts consist of small German village, on the outskirts of which you can find the hotel. It is a perfect place for relaxing, taking a breath of fresh air, going outdoors or just enjoying the unobstructed views of the surrounding hills right from your room. The breakfast was kind of basic, otherwise fresh and tasty, but plain (even by non-German standards).
The extreme helpfulness of the lady who welcomed us. , who also helped and advised us when having dinner in the down the hill restaurant ( which was part of the complex.) . Perhaps as a result of ( see below, ) we got a very nice room with a beautiful view. The fact that in the first instance there was no reaction to our presence, which made us wonder about it all. This was taken away when : see 3 above!...... NB I have not looked at other guest reviews.
I was concerned when we turned up and the reception was locked, but a quick phone call brought the owner to let us in. There was a lack of staff on duty but all the facilities were very good and the breakfast excellent. We would stay again even though we christened it the "Marie Celeste"!
There is a village about 2 km from the Hotel with good restuarants. In the evenings it is peaceful since during our stay there were only about 6 rooms in the Hotel of the over 30 rooms were occupied. If you are not German speaking just stay away. At arrival their was no one at the hotel to assist. Only a message in German. After figuring out that we can phone the number, none of the staff could speak English. Only after mentioning that I am going to write a review, the staff/owner remembered that theycould speak and understand some English. There is no staff in the evenings to assist and reality differs from the 4 star pictures presented.
Very calm and quiet hotel set in a beautiful location.
Location was excellent with beautiful views.
