Good location for village, good restaurant, they arranged for (6) motorcycles to be garaged undercover. Handy walking distance to centre of village.
Very friendly and helpful staff The decor was a little dated throughout
A good situation, old family-driven hotel, good breakfeast, old buildning was a little too old, but all functioned well. No
Very professional, friendly staff, lovely location and great food.
Friendly willing to please staff on all levels
This was typical good German hospitality with comfortable rooms and very hearty meals.
Ok. Noise from downstairs and street
The waitresses were very nice.
I only stayed 1 night but the staff and facilities were excelent.
Friendly staff. On noisy street. No A/C.
The hotel smells a lot, although the room we were staying was ok.
The staff is very nice, (Dobrý deň, Martin :)), the location is great, near the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The breakfast was very good (thanks to Martin, again).
I like the owner's friendliness and hospitality. It offers a budget and high quality accommodation with free parking and wifi. The room doesn't have a proper table, just cupboards and double bed, however I think that's fine based on the price. The toilets for sharing are clean and well-equipped. Breakfast is very nice too. It's value for money after all. Definitely recommend it!! no
Great for the money!!! if you have a car, though.
good staff attitude - facilities good, as anticipated - location ideal for our purpose - ood also good
It is a very family, friendly hotel. Dinner and beer were relly good as well. I really recommend this place, but, .... I need a car :) Very good value-for-money
Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Conveniently situated in the centre of the town. Bedrooms were a little tired and need updating.
visiting castles, countryside
We enjoyed being right in the centre of this small town which had easy access to other towns along the Romantic Strasse. The cafe/ restaurant attached provided good meals and had friendly service.
Staff were very helpful and went out of way to help It was very, very old fashioned, dreary and out of date. The price was an absolute disgrace and i felt the lady who checked me in actually knew that we were being ripped off. This should not be a standard for booking.com and especially at that price. we were outraged. We had no choice to stay here as we could not find another hotel in the town on the internet - buyer's market!!!
Pleasant staff. Good internet. easy to find and easy parking. Simple accommodation. I felt it was a over priced, but I think Americans feel all of Europe is overpriced for us with dollars now, 2009. The hotel is old and has not been well maintained.
The staff was friendly and spoke english. They allowed us to choose the room we liked the best for no additional charge. When we arrived a festival was going on outside the hotel. Great location for our trip. Would book again.
good location and neat and clean rooms. Free WiFi.
Good location close to Autobahn - convenient for meetings in southern Munich area Difficult to get back from Landsberg Centre (I walked in the end)
The front desk reception was very helpful. Elevator Kind of a crappy location. Hotel situated in an autopark right next to the autoban. Lobby public computer not working.
Clean and spacious single room. Breakfast price is extortiating in proportion to the room price, no minibar or tea machine. Drinks vending machine was out of order. Bring in your own food or drinks with you or leave for breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is hidden at a barren road in between the highways. Hard to find without a GPS. Far from any restaurant or shopping mall.
Nice rooms, nice staff, good location for our purposes.
This is a very nice hotel, with friendly staff, clean, and a pleasant stay. Would suit business travellers. Location was not ideal, right in the industrial section of town, and it required us to drive into town for dinner. Breakfast very expensive, could stay somewhere more expensive with breakfast included and be better off. You need a car or bike if you stay here. Also, the name on the hotel says 'Tulip Hotel'. We drove around three times before we realised it was the right hotel.
Brilliant staff. Asked for quiet non smoking room. Was given room facing motorway, immeadiately above main entrance which was smoking area.
No food provision for Guests, I was in from the usa for a 2 day trip, forgot to get Euro's, and hoping to just grab a snack at the hotel which did not serve anything other than breakfast. B'fast was good though !. Clean and basic hotel.
Hotel is well situated directly off the highway. The staff was friendly, it was very clean and the rooms were extremely large. The price does not include breakfast, which is rather expensive. Also the sheets and pillows were thin and uncomfortable.
Clean and large rooms
Good location in center of town. Hotel room clean, staff friendly. Breakfast buffet pretty poor - only 1-1/2 cups of coffee etc. No minibar in room, no internet connection. Not as advertised.
The room was even bigger and attractive than the photos portrayed... Breakfast was in a pleasant room with good, friendly service Not a complaint, but good to remind prospective visitors to not be dissapointed by the front entrance; in a row of buildings, on a busy street, just a bare parking lot in front, when you enter it changes quickly, and we had a room facing a charming back street, and was very quiet, also just behind the building starts the charming town...
Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good especially after we realized you could order eggs. Location was very convenient. Take a room on the inside since rooms facing street are very noisy almost all night due to nearby bus stop and taxi stand.
Big room, good location, close to Neuschwanstein castle and Skyline Park.
Lovely large quiet room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Free parking in front of hotel Difficult to find as it is set back from a busy road. Entry is from one direction only, so, if coming from the north it is necessary to drive well past to find a safe turn around spot.
Peaceful and quiet restful near to shops bus and Bahnhof No
Our stay at the hotel Am Turm was surprisingly good. Perfectly clean, in the centre of the town, very large rooms with all amenities, although more expensive hotels do not provide. All worked brilliantly, as the internet access in our room too.Lambardini family love their hotel and really have the sense of hospitality. It was our best stay in a German hotel, with the best quality and the lowest price.
Food and friendly competent staff.
Quaint setting with history
The hotel was very clean and restaurant had a good selection on the menu. The staff were very helpful and the majority spoke English.
Rooms were very clean and the staff attentive and polite. The food and drink were very good.
Clean and efficient. Deluxe room was comfortable. Does not live up to the website photos. Rather characterless buildings. Breakfast was disappointingly basic. Nice and pool and sauna area which we had to ourselves, and lots of other rather curious Kneipp spa treatments if you are into that sort of thing. Bad Woerishofen is handy for Memmingen airport but this is not a very scenic part of Bavaria and the town is best suited to elderly German folk, with the ambience of a large old peoples' home.
friendly hotel, good service, nice and silence circustance,
Good location Ample parking Short walk to the town centre Staff very helpfull and pleasant None that I can think of
hello i found the area where your hotel was located was very peaceful ,i found the hotel itself seem to be extremely quite maybe it was the time of year, with not many peaple about ,it was a good proximity to the main centre , i felt their could have been more choices of teas as not everyone like herb teas, also maybe a choice of ham ,as their was only smoked salmon available and not everyone eats fish ,and maybe the facality to make toast ,and the choice of something hot maybe boiled egg ,other than that ,everything was very good
Enjoyed their spa as well as a fantastic vegetarian buffe' dinner
Our stay at Steigenberger Hotel was relaxing and very comfortable, while staff as increadibly friendly. Most of the clientèle is somewhat older, but the hotel seems also to cater for young children (highchairs, small bikes). We would like to return to it with our toddler one of these days.
The food the beds were quite firm!!
restaurant,SPA, room, location and staff. No information about SPA services in English, only in German.
Hotel staff were polite and helpful, although they didn't speak much English The building works, although they didn't effect us too much, and the wrong room was initially given to us, but was changed without incident once pointed out.
Room was very comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Friendly staff, good breakfast's and also a very good restaurant No
The nice dekoration inside the hotel. True german We have a company deal with this hotel, but due to online booking we had to pay full price for the rooms. AGCO
Great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, reasonable price Carpet could use some cleaning, bowling alley can be noisy
It was very quiet, comfortable and deep relaxation. The home-brewed beer was so good. Moreover, the dishes of the restaurant were also delicious.
The room was charming and nicely renovated. Great, comfortable beds, The restaurant served the best Bavarian food and perhaps the best beer I have ever tasted. Breakfast was also brilliant with eggs, bacon and a variety of cold cuts, cheeses and breads. Nothing negative about the experience. Older or physically challenged travellers may have difficulty with stairs though. If you are not used to them, the nearby church bells are very loud in the morning!
During our two week holiday in Germany, we stayed in a wide range of accommodation from luxury castles overlooking the Rhine to budget and middle range hotels. The Irseer Klosterbrau was without a doubt our favourite place and the highlight of all our stays. The room was huge, superbly designed and very well equipped. The building itself has to be seen to be believed and the restaurant was simply amazing. The food was delicious and very affordable, and the locally made beer was sublime. Service was fantastic too. Overall, we can't recommend this hotel strongly enough and is well worth a visit. Only thing we regret is that we didn't stay for longer. If we had the chance again, we would check-in and enjoy the food (and beer), and then visit Neuschwanstein Castle and Fussen the following day - to return to the Klosterbrau for more great food (and beer).
We enjoyed the location and the choice of food. The beer was also very good quality and value. The rooms were of a reasonable size and well maintained. The only slight negative was that there were steep flights of stairs to our bedrooms which might be difficult to negotiate with heavy suitcases or if infirm.
I have been staying at this hotel for my visits to Marktoberdorf for over fi.fty years It is a friendly convenient accomodation. It is run by the third generation of oweners and the older generation is present daily to see that things are done right
Friendly staff. Rooms were good-size and very clean. Location is in town with shopping and other restaurants nearby.
I received a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel staff were gracious and helpful in seeing me to my room and finding an ideal parking spot. The services were very accommodating for meals and arranging for a long stay than expected. The room was clean and freshed up beautifully. The hotel's proximity to the walking streets in the town center and to the countryside is ideal.
The location in the center of the town. Very nice staff. Nice room. Would be nice to have internet axess for more than 24 hours at the time.
A very nice traditional hotel in the center of a Bavarian Market town. Staff very friendly and excellent food in restaurant.
Very friendly staff and perfectly located in the center of Kaufbeuren I wish they had wireless Internet connection throughout the entire hotel, incl the rooms
