The Inn is very centrally located in Ocean Isle, right after you come across the bridge onto the barrier island and near the pier. It is right on the beach and an ocean front room has a fantastic view and a decent sized balcony. Room was spacious and included a microwave and good sized refrigerator under the "wet bar sink" with a large counter that was handy. Everything was clean and bright. A little bonus: we saw several weddings on the beach at the Inn and at the public access area/"chapel" next door. There was only one elevator for the several buildings (connected by breezeways), so we were climbing stairs to the top floor many times -- but that was good for us :) If this is a problem for someone though, they should request being near the elevator. The breakfast room was large and clean, but the premade breakfast sandwiches to "nuke" weren't the best ever. All was ok. And I'm not sure how much less non ocean-view rooms were, and the view out that way to the bridge was pretty nice, but if you are coming to the beach, pay the difference to see the ocean IMHO
Adequate for the price. Squeaky bed. Small tv.
Great location. Oceanfront, attentive owners. Parking was not very good. Also, we stayed in the same building with the office, and the WiFi was sporadic at best. Would be unusable in further buildings.
great location and value being on the beach we stayed in an ada room and the bathroom could use some updating in the sink/vanity area to make it more accessible.
Location and value are excellent, especially in the off season. TV reception was poor, bed was a little soft.
Nice location. Decent off season price. Nice staff. Refrigerator didn't work. Called but maintenance never came to the room (they told office they did but did not). Deadbolt wouldn't work. Dated decor but that wasn't an issue. Very poor wi-fi signal.
The best part was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The problem for us is that we were in building six and the elevator was in building two. We had the option of either walking through four buildings to get to the elevator, or going down several flights of stairs. All the while carrying our beach gear. It was awkward at best, and exhausting at worst. I think for younger people who don't mind the stairs, this Motel is a great choice. But for us retired folks, it required a lot of walking carrying our beach gear.
