Pros: It was excellent. Great hostel! Amazing experience! Thanks for all!
Pros: The Place is amazing! For sure I will comeback!
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Great breakfast, nice staff, good atmosphere
Cons: Quite noisy
Pros: - Great place; very different - looks like from a farytalr - Great attention from Ro - he will go beyond everything for you - Great atmosphere
Pros: The house is really cosy, nicely build with different areas to relax. I liked the hammocks. Toilet paper is good quality. Breakfast with homemade bread and fruits.
Cons: For the price I would expect more. For example a towel for the shower, aircon or fan in the room. More comfort.
Pros: Everything. Beautiful work lovingly constructing this gorgeous earthship home. Excellent vibes. Great cat.
Cons: Could use a disco ball.
Pros: Everything was awesome, staff is extra friendly, rooms and bathrooms are very clean and nicely decorated.
Pros: Amazing staff! Felt very welcome at the hostel. The facility itself is very charming. I am definitely coming back!
With a stay at Narakan Hostel in Cabo Polonio, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Cabo Polonio National Park and 11 minutes by foot from Cabo Polonio Lighthouse. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator (lift).
Pros: The hosts Mariano and Maria are very friendly, helpful and easy going hosts despite my bad communication in Spanish. The place has very nice atmosphere and is quite cosy and comfortable for Cabo Polonio! The location is awesome right on the beachfront. Breakfast and coffee (included) were ok and the dinner (additional) was very delicious! Unfortunately, I stayed for only one night but hopefully will be back again for a longer stay. Thanks guys
Pros: taying in Narakan was a really good experience. I was travelling alone, but i felt like im in home. The staff was so kind. It is a special experience that you can only feel in Cabo. I recomend!
Pros: The vibe of the place
Cons: Small rooms, not many toilets... bit messy
Pros: Beautiful location right at the beach
Cons: Really small, music all the time, food ok but not good, weird staff, strange vibes, not really clean and far!!!! Tooo expensive!!!
Pros: The Narakan hostel was the best experience I had in a long time. The staff is very attentive and make you feel at home. The facilities are very clean and charming. In the evenings, singers from the area came to do a private show while dinner is served (which by the way is very good). Also every night they make a bonfire on the beach and decorate the hostel with candles inside and outside. I have to say that it is an incredible Hostel, with very good energy that made an unforgettable experience of Cabo Polonio. I recommend it 100%.
Pros: Cabo Polonio is a rather charming place where one can relax and enjoy some quiet! Narakan is a small wooden house on the beach with a bar/restaurant. Staff was smiley and friendly. It was the 4 of us and we booked 2 bedrooms for only one night: one was the "suite" (as they called them) with a balcony and the other one a triple bedroom. The latter was fine, as one can expect there is no much space, but the bed was comfy. The "suite" had a low ceiling and, even I who am rather small, it's impossible to stand straight, there was no bed but rather a mattress on the floor. It had 2 entrances, one was from the outside and one a ladder in in the common area, in front of the bar. As many other guests said, the environment is extremely relaxed and peaceful.
Cons: Of course I knew from the very beginning it was not a hotel or anything similar and that it's not the idea behind it, HOWEVER, several things should be improved: 1) Narakan has 1 tiny toilet and 2 bathrooms (1 of which is extremely small) for over 15 guests, which I believe isn't enough; 2) as much as I liked the live music during dinner, they started playing at 10:30pm and went on until after midnight - I was tired and the "suite" was just above the common area where they were playing, thing that made it impossible of course to fall asleep when I would have liked to. 3) Perhaps I did not research enough and/or I missed it but I did not know that we needed to get a bus from the main centre and that, obviously, big luggages with wheels would have not been easy to carry on the sand. The lady at Narakan has been very helpful at the check-in and helped us but, in such cases, I think, once a reservation is made the property should have a standard message with some info for those who are not familiar with the place and might not know. If I knew I would have made different arrangements.. 4) I booked the hostel quite late and most of the premises were already fully booked so the price was higher and that is my fault BUT it was definitely too expensive for what it offers! Dinner was okay (drinks were not included) and breakfast rather poor, they gave us only some bread with spreads, coffee and juice.
Pros: The staff is friendly. The music is good and blends in with the environment. It is an amenity to have dinner available as well. On the days when I stayed at the hostel every night came musicians playing and it was really cool.
Pros: Located right in front of the beach where you can see the sunrise in the ocean. Cosy rooms and hot water all day. The host Maria was awesome and Tata's dinners were amazing. The town is beautiful and everybody gives you great tips. Definitely, Cabo Polonio is a great place to be off the grid, discover yourself and connect with others. In the hostel I felt right at home and had such a great time that there are not enough words to describe it.
Pros: We were made to feel so welcome - like a part of the family The location could not be any better The dinners were very tasty
Cons: Breakfast could have been more varied
Pros: The location is fantastic. Personnel were nice and accommodating
Pros: The location and facilities were very good. The staff excellent.
Cons: The water isn't very clean.
Cons: Shower did not have pressure, did not get fresh towels.
Pros: Miguel is a superhost very friendly and kind and his stab also. Enjoy Agua Dulce very much and the location was perfect if you just wanna visited Cabo Polonia over the day. Recommend this hotel!!!!!! A happy
Set in a charming “rancho” only a 1-minute walk from Norte Beach, Viejo Lobo offers budget accommodation with sea views. It features a fireplace and common kitchen facilities. Cabo Polonio’s Lighthouse is a 15-minute walk away. Decorated with tiled floors, rooms at Viejo Lobo are very bright. All of them have shared bathrooms. Guests can cook their own meals in the common kitchen or enjoy barbecues in the BBQ area. A fireplace is features in the lobby. Excursions can be booked at the tour desk. The Dunes Natural Monument is a 30-minute walk away. Luggage storage is provided. Viejo Lobo is 7 km from Cabo Polonio bus terminal. Sur Beach is a 3-minute walk away.
Pros: Interesting place for only one night. Nice bomb fire at night.
Cons: 7 people under the roof, no space at all. Very minimal space between the bottom and top bunk bed. Kitchen isn’t very inviting. Nevertheless dinner is available. The place is unclean. Bathrooms not suitable for usage, particularle when the flush isn’t working!!!
Pros: Great atmosphere and vibe at the Viejo Lobo!! A bit like a small commune. Breakfast and Dinner is extra but definitively worth it! A great place to relax, meet and talk with people and enjoy the nature. I am glad, I stayed there!
Cons: The space in the dorm is very limited so it was quite packed with 4 people and their gear - but that is the only little downside. I would go back for sure!
Pros: I loved this place so much. The owners are friendly, the hostel had a fire at night and there’s a lovely lounge area to relax in. Breakfast was yummy and healthy. The environment is so wild and untouched.
Pros: Wonderful place with great staff and very good dinner. We highly recommend this hostel!
Pros: The stuff were realy helpfull, paitient and helped me out, in any situation. The aim of the place is for a Good cause. Its eko friendly, art inspiring and have good conciousnes. Best breakfast in uruguay. Just so Nice to getaway from the cassual sugarboms that normaly is served. Dinner had the same quality. The place Also brings People together and kinda force them to interact in a Good way. To me the booking score might ended a lite lower that what i wanted to give. Because you need to put the place in a context to what it is n where its placed. Good love n bless to that place.....fya
Cons: It is what it is. A simple and small place with very tiny rooms. Althoug, that was expected. But for me who lives in a similar place, runed on volontery basis back home, the Price took the "hippie" fealing down abit.
Pros: Everything, go there if you can, you will love it
Pros: Very helpful staff, the vibes in the hostel are really good and the food they serve is tasety
Cons: In cold weather the hostel is very crowded and there is not enough place for all of the guests to sit
Pros: Chilled, relaxing, Walter is an amazing host always with a smile on his face. We really enjoyed our stay!
Cons: Property is firmly off the grid, but we knew that when we booked. Unfortunately we couldn't charge our phones for 2 days of our stay but that just added to the charm. We had time to read and talk to other guests, what travelling is all about.
Cons: The bed is too short for a 1.80 m person...
Pros: The location is incredible and the beaches and nature take your breath away. The hosts were amazing and did everything to help during our stay. The breakfasts and dinners were great and it was fun to chat with other travellers in the common areas. The accommodation is basic, but that is to be expected in a place like this, which is still largely of the grid.
With a stay at Lobo Hostel Bar in Cabo Polonio, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Cabo Polonio National Park and 7 minutes by foot from Cabo Polonio Lighthouse. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and coffee/tea in a common area.
Pros: Beds were pretty clean and decent bathroom/shower facilities. The beach and lighthouse are very close.
Cons: There are tons of mosquitos at night. We were up most of the night itching and slept horribly. There needs to be mosquito nets around the beds. Also, there was loud music playing until after midnight so it's hard to sleep. It gets very warm in the room when people close the window/door at night. There is also very little space in the room between the beds-only one person at a time can be standing near their bed. Beware they only accept cash or PayPal. The ATM at the park entrance (only one nearby) was broken so we had to pay with PayPal and had to pay an extra fee.
Pros: The staff was really nice and helpful, hostel is clean. We stayed in a single room with a nice small terrace. Tasty food, good breakfast, places to chill.
Cons: Price/quality could be better, no credit cards are accepted
Pros: - very close to bus station and supermarket - staff were nice and helpful - beds were ok - hot water in showers - electricity! - in the night nice shows - Pretty nice kitchen You have to keep in mind that this is cabo polonia
Cons: - Very small everything - rooms, toilets, corridors, stairs - the hostel is also a restaurant so expect odd smells
Pros: Wonderful staff, very nice and funny. The food is simply amazing with very correct prices. Every night, music and singing around the fireplace, with the amazing art of having always the right music mood for the right time.
Pros: The rustic setting and casual lay back vibe of the hostel is perfect for young travelers who are looking for relaxation, good music, food, beaches, walks, nature and conveniences. No frills, sure, but the relaxed atmosphere, evening fires and jam sessions, our room with a view and a balcony, and friendliness of the staff made the experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me. Very cool
Pros: Awesome facility for the money.
Cons: There is no wifi and electricity is limited. Was ok for me, perfect for that nature centered spot. Just so others know
Pros: It has everything in one place. Ideal to rest, read a book, have fun, cook watching the sea, or enjoy the delicious breakfasts that the hostel prepares. At night live music by international artists. It is the perfect place in Polonio
Cons: the only bad thing is having to leave
Pros: Lobo hostel bar, thx for the expreinces been there twice in my trip to La provincia del Rocha. The staff has a really good vibe the kitchen is amazingly tasteful, the fire at night is one of my favorite, thats a perfect place for cheelin and meeting really good ppl ,es una buena honda. Thx for everything marcin and everyone!! Nos vemos pronto ❤
Pros: The location is good, from our room we cold see the ocean on a big terrace. Martin the host was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was very low, maybe to much for this price
Pros: The hostess was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. I stayed for just one night and everything was just perfect. The place is clean and comfortable :)
Cons: Small rooms but for the mood of Cabo, its good! You don’t need big bagages for that place :)

Cabañas Virazon has fully furnished cabins with kitchen facilities that include full kitchenware and BBQ facilities. Cottages include private patios with plenty of plants. When you stay at Posada Buscavida in Oceania del Polonio, you'll be 12 minutes by car from Cabo Polonio National Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The property is overpriced. From the publicity we were expecting some charming nice "posada", but it was very simple and presented some problems such as infiltration in the bathroom and a very small shower curtain to prevent moisture throughout the whole bathroom. These are easy fixable problems that require interest in bringing comfort to the hosts. Summarising, just for two night it was OK.
Cons: Not having being registered. Usually, as a foreign tourist it is expected the properties where you stay check your personal data. This is an important security procedure from severals points of views (taxes, eventualities, insurance, confidence in your neighbours, etc).
Pros: The food was amazing, homemade, and the people were great with the kids and with us. We really enjoy our stay there, and we recommended
Pros: Super nice staff!
Cons: Could have been great if you had some possibility to cook food or coffee, fridge and a little stove since you really need to buy everything at the restaurant. Big minus that you can’t pay with card.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is very calm! The beach is 10 minutes from the hostel, but that is just for you! The food, what they prepared was perfect, except the breakfast. That was boring and very bare.
Cons: Unfortunately they couldn't give us a converter and an electric insect killer also would be useful in the room.
Pros: Everything!!! The place is just amazing!! Everything about it...the location, the staff, the wi fi, the restaurant... It exceeded our expectations!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful that you really feel at home!!

At Apart Hotel Arinos you will find a lovely garden and a terrace. The property offers 24-hour front desk service, luggage storage and laundry facilities. Beach chairs are provided.
Cons: The breakfast
Pros: The staff is super nice! The space is right on the beach and you will have a couple of chairs and an umbrella available to enjoy the sun.
Pros: Not much..
Cons: The breakfeast wasn't Continental at all, just a basket oft bread and jam and awful cheesecream. The matress was so lain trough that my back hurt every morning. The bath was dirty and the Kirchen ridiculous. Just a microwave and a waterboiler that could not be pluged in... For USD 15 this would be OK, but we had much better accomodation for this money!
Pros: Location best in town, close to beach and restaurants. On main beach road. Free use of sun chairs and umbrella.
Cons: Awful smell from drains in bathroom. The kitchenette was a fridge with a microwave on top and a kettle. No crockery, no cutlery or utensils. Some rooms had no outside windows luckily ours did. Small room more like a bed sit.
Pros: Location is perfect. In the middle of the main street. They have their own restaurant where the food is tasty and really well served
Cons: Breakfast is really basic
Boasting a bar and shared lounge, as well as a restaurant, Puertas al Cabo is situated in Cabo Polonio. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. All rooms will provide guests with a stovetop. Buffet and à la carte breakfast options are available each morning at the hostel. Puertas al Cabo offers a terrace. La Paloma is 47 km from the accommodation, while La Pedrera is 37 km from the property.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff!
Pros: Excellent location close to transport dropoff and pickup, as well as the shop. Santi was super helpful and friendly. Great patio area outside to relax. Good cooking facilities. Warm shower 24/7. Excellent value for money!
Cons: 4 bed dorm can become a little stuffy and smell of damp, especially after rain. Maybe a little more ventilation?
Pros: too expensive for a bad room without the basics, even for Cabo Polonio.
Cons: we booked a private room. When we arrived it was not even constructed. Breakfast from 8 to 10, but bread arrived at 9. also, they give you coffee powder, but with no way to prepare, just hot water, like if it was instant soluble coffee (just that it was not)
Pros: Very nice place, very helpful and friendly owner, definitely a recommended accommodation if you're planning a trip to Cabo Polonio.
Pros: The owners are fantastic people. The hostel is very good value for money.
Cons: The dorm is cold.
Pros: Good location and cheap for the area, worth it to stay in Cabo Polonio just don't expect much.
Cons: 4 bed dorms were very very small, needs mosquito nets, beds very uncomfortable.
Pros: service great, rooms simple, location unbelievable good, not directly at the beach (3 min barfeeet walk), but more or less in the centre of the lovely place
Cons: bigger window in the room, but who stays there for more than sleeping?
