Pros: Beautiful place, comfortable, tastefully decorated, super breakfast, super friendly and helpful owners, family atmosphere. Got help with mountain walks, excellent service. Free pick up service from nearby villages for dinner, or coming back from mountain walks. Will definitely come back.
Pros: The host, the breakfast and the ambience.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast (extra cost), and transport to and from the nearest town for the evening.
Cons: We didn't need or want a 'mountain view' room, but it was the only on available, and cost extra, when it was already quite an expensive place.
Pros: Our stay at the Hotel Rurale Besario was a highlight of our tour of the Spanish Basque Country. The location in small village is quiet and off the beaten track but very convenient for walks in the forest. The hosts are a delightful couple who are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice comfy sitting room with an honesty bar. Excellent restaurants are close by in Ochagavía, especially the Cideria Kixkia. Highly recommended.

Pros: Proprietors went out of there way to make sure we had a relaxing and fuss-free stay. The Restaurant Menu was as diverse as it was excellent. Nice to sample Basque cuisine.
Cons: Room was a little on the small size for a family room of three beds.
Pros: Friendly, excellent breakfast. Good value.
Pros: This is a small rural hotel in a small rural hamlet. Many people seemed to be there for walking, we were passing through the valley. We were made very welcome and were surprised to find a small jacuzzi outside. Dinner and breakfast were very good value with a good range of choices.
Pros: A nice quiet location with excellent breakfast and evening meal
Cons: The road was a little noisy at times especially as we needed a window open as there wasn’t any air con units
Pros: Great location. Excellent meal and breakfast. Costs a little more than other hotels in Spain but good value. Great views. Secure storage for my bike as I was on a cycling tour.

Pros: Lovely place and friendly staff. Food was very good value for money and drinks and snacks available all day. Being able to get a drink on the terrace on arrival was just what was needed. A great place to stay in the region.
Pros: Wonderful welcome, superb. Excellent value for dinner at €16 for 3 courses. Only 5€ for breakfast which was lovely. The owner even brought us a slice of freshly baked cake. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent with a drop down seat for my husband who has only 1 leg and can't stand in the shower. Music in the bar and very attentive service. What a treat. We will definitely be returning.
Cons: Noise from the bar outside.
Pros: The rooms are quiet even though the hotel bar is also meeting point for the village. The beds were comfortable if you like them firm. The room and bathroom was very clean.
Cons: In Booking the hotel does not specify what pictures relate to what room so it appear to offer more than in does in reality. The mentioned Sauna is a cheap steam installed in the shower and even though working it never generated enough heat to call it a proper steam. It is also advertised to offer view to the mountains but from our room that seemed to be more a joke than reality. probably depending by room offered.
Pros: staff fantastic meals good very clean
