Broken 24hour checkin automat, rooms smells really bad, broken drain in bathroom
Near the motorway, great breakfast (additional charged), free parkingspace. On saturdaynight possibly not the best choice to get fully relaxed, since the hotel is in the middle of a discotheque and a huge cinema. Loud, drunk people and broken bottles on the parking space.
Babybed was included in price, nice diner in the area
Very easy, but with comfortable
Very good - thank you! Excellent value for money
The WIFI did not work ! Even after several times that we asked for help. Finally we did not have WIFI at all !
it is excellent for a " stop-off " on a trip
Easy to find. Clean and tidy. Simple and good breakfast. None
Clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Will use again
Convenient to motorway Close to cinema complex late night noise, hand basin blocked so I cleaned waste pipe out !
The room looked like a hospital room. Lino flooring and cheap modern furniture. Not at all what we expected!
Hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly. No lift so suitcases must be carried up 2 flights of stairs. Only limited rooms with terrace and the rooms are quite small No balcony and no lift
the town,Markbreit, was incredible. The food, excellent, and the atmosphere was very old world European. Just what we wanted. No
A beautiful timber-framed building in the middle of a lovely little town. Large comfortable and quiet room. Very good food at breakfast and dinner.
Friendly and "homey" feel
The restaurant was excellent - best zander I've tasted (since we last stayed here!). Open-access internet computer very useful. Our bathroom was an odd shape (because of the age of the hotel). The four-poster bed canopy obscured our bedroom's decorated ceiling!
The meal in the restaurant was excellent. Open-access computer available to use internet.
The location in the medieval town centre; good food - local seasonal specialities Lack of lift; limited parking - the garage we had reserved had been double booked
Wonderful old town - take time to stroll. No elevator.
It was a perfect lokation and a wonderful old hotel No
Location and breakfast No air conditioning
Beautiful location right inside old city walls. Comfortable, large room Parking good behind building, had to search a minute with the front desk's directions.....would have been good to have on website, since it's the only place to park and cannot be seen from front of hotel. They have a laptop for internet use on 2nd floor landing, and when we asked how to get to Internet Explorer we were treated as if we were stealing linen! The head desk person finally came up to bring it up, and was so awfully angry about it! They really should something written in English!!!! And try to be friendlier, this was the Only place out of 4 we stayed in who did not smile or offer more coffee at breakfast...
Loved this beautiful little hotel! The Orient room was cozy and very comfortable. Great shower!! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The owner was charming and friendly! Our visit was nostalgic in a small little town - but this would be a fabulous place to stay during the city's wine festival. We enjoyed a bottle of their wine with dinner at the S-Bar in Kitzingen - both were excellent!
It's location is very hard to beat, the rooms were attractively individual and the staff were very friendly The stairs were steep and there was no sitting room. The menu, whilst very nice lacked variety.
This is an excellent hotel. It's historic and traditionally German. It has free Internet, great English TV stations and a huge breakfast. It was a spacious room. It had free parking. It's an excellent value for the money. The hotel is located on the quiet side of the Main River about 10 miles south of Wurzburg, a not to be missed city.
Beatiful location and house, good service and good restaurant
Staff were very friendly and we found the location and the building itself fascinating. The breakfast buffet was excellent, too. no
We stayed here for just one night on our way to Austria and were delighted with our choice. The husband and wife team that owned the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the standard of accomodation was excellent, with a superb breakfast to set us on our way. We had a short time to explore Sommerhasen, which is a delightful small ancient walled town along a riverside, ideal for walkers and cyclists.
This is a very nice family run hotel near the autobahn. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant has an good selection of food and local wine.
Very nice, clean hotel in rustic, friendly town.
In addition to the above the restaurant offered a good menu which was supported by excellent cooking. There was very knowledgable and friendly advice given on wine selection. The wines themselves were delicious and well matched to the various courses. The hotel is worth visiting for the restaurant alone.
Friendly welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. This is a family run hotel who like to look after their guests and serve good food and local wine.
Village of Dettelbach - picturesque. Was able to park car in secure garage but away from hotel. No refrigerator and no internet.
Perfect room, very clean and nice. Very nice dinning room, breakfasts. Difficult to find, road construction, traffic mess.
Everything was great!
Nice personnel, comfortable and quiet room, dog allowed, garage
Very pleasant in all respects for an overnighter. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast included. Central location in charming small town Note that there are two Akzent hotels in the town. Car park a little walk away. Not a problem unless raining.
Efficient staff, friendly, went out of their way to help us.
Super location within the town - very friendly staff. Breakfasts is tasty & plentyful. The attached café with its own patisserie is great. Would recommend to tourist & buisness people alike. Would love to visit again. Car parking was limited adjacent to the hotel but a remote hotel garage was provided for secure overnight parking. The booking.com ad lists:Solarium, Spa & Wellness Centre - but does not tell you its at the sister hotel.
A lovely old town with the hotel in a quiet location next to a small river. A nice touch were the house made biscuits left on our pillows. An added bonus was a free lock up garage. Even our Sat Nav had difficulty finding the hotel.
The quaint walled city has character, however, the narrow, winding streets were difficult to negotiate by car, and the hotel was hard to find. The breakfast was very good.
