Very good service. Nice clean and quiet place You had to pay extra in order to use the sauna.
Cleanliness of our room and size of the room (very big)
Big room, very clean, helpful and professional staff - I would stay there again.
Lovely location. Clean and bright rooms. Good evening meals available.
The room was bigger than expected.
Room and breakfast were correct. Very big bed. Stuff was nice, not everybody english-speaker but enough to understandig I find the hotel a little bit expensive, but is the most interesnting in such an small town
We spent one night in this hotel on our way to Norway. It is located reasonably close to the motorway, in a calm town. This is a really nice hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant is in a good German style, and the breakfast offers a really good variety of dishes. The rooms look new and are clean. The parking is large and free. TV channels have been only in German.
I have problems with geting the key. The box outside, did not work.
Well located in the city. Can`t think of anything except that the soap shower wasn`t good.
nice and clean room and bathroom the restaurant was not open for hotel guests
Breakfast had no fresh fruit, when we arrived, 1700, we could not get a sandwich to eat.
The hotel was nice and quiet, and the location was very good. The staff were kind. There was almost no English available. The stuff talked little english, and the room instruction were German only. It might be that this place is mostly an inner-tourism venue, but still.
quiet, mostly mature people, clean no programs in english on television, even news
We found the hotel very pleasant and the breakfast good
The option of not having breakfast was not offered to me. As I did not need one I could have saved some money. Maybe this option should be made available when booking.
Nice restaurant with a good variety of dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money. Nearby road could be noisy at times.
This hotel has nice restaurant. Service of staff is excellent and facility of accomodation is quite new and clean. If you go to Sylt for a day trip, I recommend this hotel.
Easily accessible nice small countryside hotel perfect for a one-night stay at a holiday trip. Our base for trip to Sylt: Distance about 15 kilometres to the auto train station in Niebüll. The breakfast offering was slightly below our expectations. The noise from the railroad nearby might annoy someone.
We liked the very friendly staff and the food in the restaurant was very good. The breakfast buffet should have been bigger, with a possibilty to take as many eggs you like, there was no cold milk, you had to ask for it. But we got everything we asked for with a friendly attitude and smile. There should have been a posibilty of free use of internett.
Although I normally would not have chosen this hotel, the friendly staff made it a pleasant stay. The restaurant offers a large variety of dishes. The hotel offers no internet access point or wifi. Rooms are not airconditioned, and although satellite tv, only 10 channels with Danish and German broadcasts are programmed. Instead of a buffet, breakfast has already been placed at your table.
Hotell manager and staff excellent. Good food and a nice atmosphere even though closely located to the road.
Very clean and quiet even if on the road.Free parking.Very nice and friendly staff.Good restaurant for dinner.Very near to the train station to get to Sylt Continental breakfast poor. Room with no a/c. No internet point neither wifi in the hotel. Bathroom very little. Only German TV.
The booking information was confusing. When I booked I wanted two rooms, one for my husband, Ted Frey and myself, Anne Spanier. I also wanted a room for 2 granddaughters. When we arrived they gave us two appartments about 50 meters from the hotel. The reservation information was not clear. So we got two separate apartments, which was unecessary and expensive. Two young girls do not need a separate apartment. Of course, what could we do? We accepted the reservation and said nothing. We ate at the hotel and nothing else. The apartments were quite nice.
The innkeeperswere helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was a fantastic array of breads, meats, cheeses, and spreads. The affiliated spa provides excellent facials, manicures, etc. And it is a 5-minute walk from the train station, providing ease of travel for those who don't want to take a car. An excellent, comfortable stay. I assume most visitors use the Pension for holiday rather than business, but it would have been great to have an all-day rate for Internet access rather than by 2-hour increments.
English spoken; efficient service; pleasant staff; internet access; very reasonable price for the standard of the hotel.
Clean, good price and good breakfast
Newly decorated. Fresh bread rolls outside the door every morning. The rate is based on the appartment which could sleep 2 adults 1 child and maybe a baby. The temperature was cold (-10c some nights ) but the appartment's heating kept us snug.Very good value .
Size of the room, breakfast, location Nothing to complain about
Everything was very good, very convenient for both train stations and the town.
Though still under construction when we were there July 13-15, it is a charming, relaxing, cozy inn decorated in both traditional Friesen style with lovely blue and white tile restaurant and modern beach chic bedrooms in white and willow hues. My husband and I had a room with view over the meadow and sea while our son's view was of an inner garden area. The food served both in the restaurant and on an outdoor patio was excellent; fresh and beautifully served which surprised us since the Hallig is so remote. The owners/staff were very flexible about when it was served, meaning we were able to eat their breakfast/lunch after a very long sleep in after 11am and dinner, consisting of 2 choices every night, well into the evening. They do not have bikes at the hotel. We had to rent them from an unreliable source which was a 3/4 hour walk from the hotel. Bikes are essential on the Hallig and I highly recommend they offer them for rent on the premises.
