With a stay at Titicaca Lodge in Isla Amantani, you'll be on a lake, just a 1-minute walk from Lake Titicaca and 12 minutes by foot from Amantani Island Ferry Port. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Osvaldo is a great host and the Lodge is wonderful and built with love. Food is absolutely delicious made by the caring hands of Cecilia. Life in Amantani is slow and beautiful. Muchas gracias Osvaldo for the great stay, hasta pronto!
Pros: We loved our stay at Titicaca Lodge. All the staff was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The location was incredible, a quiet slice of heaven looking out on Lake Titicaca. The food was fresh, yummy, and made with love. 10/10 would return.
Cons: Nothing! We have nothing bad to say about our stay. I guess communication prior to the stay regarding how to get to the Lodge could have been clearer, but in the end the Lake Titicaca community is small and we got to the Lodge easily from the private dock via a ferry that made a special stop for us.
Pros: The property was very clean, with an amazing view and the nicest hosts you could ask for!! The food was really really good and the amenities excellent. I would recommend to anyone who wants to sleep on Amantani but doesn’t feel too comfortable with staying in a family’s home, this was a perfect compromise. Will definitely be coming back there ASAP.
Pros: The location is incredible with a view of the lake. A very tipical local lodge but with all comforts: clean rooms and hot water. The food reflects the local tastes of the area: hand-made products, quality and unique character. The family is very kind and lovely. A very good experience.
Cons: All was perfect.
Pros: Professionnal and great Family
Cons: Not staying more
Pros: Anna is a wonderful hostess and her cooking is exceptional. No shower or hot water though
Cons: Very hard to get to the island.. you have to go on a tour
Pros: Possibly the best host we ve ever had!!Amazing location just in front of the beach, very nice and spotless rooms. Osvaldo and his family were great , took great care of us and helped us with all our needs (he even found a person to accompany us all the way to Juliaca, so that we would be safe on our way back from the island). They served great breakfast and, if you need, lunch and dinner too. Thank Osvaldo , hope to see you again Ps: hello Christian , thanks for being my guide in beautiful Amantani!
Pros: Incredibly nice hosts - Anita and Oswaldo, Anita took care of everything, cooked amazing food, Oswaldo made us a delicious breakfast next day and gave us a little souvenir to remind us of our stay on the island. We had the best shower in Peru so far, which is amazing considering we were on a remote island on Lake Titicaca. The bed was totally comfortable and with the four woolen blankets we weren't cold even on the cold island's night. Waking up to the reflection of the sunrise on the waters of Titicaca lake made it an unforgettable experience. The island itself is a pearl, we are so happy we had the chance to visit.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about.
Pros: The house of Osvaldo is a real gem in the middle of Isla Amantaní, the place is amazing, peaceful and surrounded by nature! Osvaldo’s family is lovely and we had great time: hiking the Pachatata with the guide he provided us has been unforgettable and all the meals, eaten in a big room with an amazing view, were definitely good. Our room was very big and clean, as the bathrooms (outside, one each floor but with hot water in the shower, not that common in the island).
Cons: Even if the beds are provided with very heavy blankets (more like carpets) I almost didn’t manage to sleep for the cold. Keep in mind that there aren’t plugs in the room, so bring your power bank for charging the phone:)
Pros: Amazing place and location, right in front of the lake. Very good meals, at 10$ each.
Cons: Nothing in particular. FYI: due to the rotation system of the hosting communities, you may need to walk from one side of the island to the other, in order to reach the lodge. Is a 1 hour walk, but totally worth it!
