Pros: Beautifully & stylishly appointed chateau, lovely setting. Impeccably clean. The proprietors were charming & polite, helpfully recommending & booking great local restaurants, opening the pool for the children, and providing tennis rackets & balls when we wanted to have a relaxed knock about on the tennis court. Breakfast was an absolute treat, served in the gorgeous dining room, with endless options & amazing home made jams. Looking forward to many return trips.

Pros: Everything was perfect. We stayed with three little children in the family room, which is made up out of three rooms and a bathroom. We explored the area and went to two restaurants that Jean Claude recommended. The breakfast was impressive, the table setting beautiful and Marie Noëlles Peach crumble so delicious!! We hope to visit again!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and our 3 boys were warmly welcomed after a long drive and made to feel at home straight away. We elected to stay one night as a stopover on the way back from the south of France. We took up the option to join the owners for an evening meal and it was on one of the highlights of our holiday. The home cooked evening meal was delightful (and tailored as my wife is vegetarian) and it provided a real insight into a proper french family dining experience. As you can image from the house name the hosts expertly guided us through the local wines, whilst regaling us with stories of the region and it's local characters. All the rooms were stylish theamed, decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable we all slept like logs. The boys loved the two cute dogs especially Pomme, the puppy who played with them most of the evening. Thank you for the amazing memories.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, at the heart of the beaujolais. My guests were very kind, offering all the services we might could need, even the dinner every day.ù Frederic told us the story of the place, and the sotry of the wine. Very good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a lovely experience staying at this property. It is tucked away in a little commune, so serene and peaceful. We were welcomed by the hosts and their two gorgeous little dogs. The room had everything we needed and was decorated beautifully. Very comfortable bed. The shutters opened up to look over the vineyard. We had the opportunity on the first night to have dinner cooked by the host and sat with the family, memories we will remember for a long time. The food was exquisite along with local wine. We walked the following day up to the top of the hills of the vineyard, excellent views. If you are passing through this is an excellent property. If you are wanting peace and quiet for a few days this is an excellent property, you can lose. Would recommend to everyone.
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Chateau de Briante is an absolutely beautiful property that let us discover the Beaujolais wine region easily and with so much relaxation. Breakfast every morning was delicious, with many options between fruits, breads, jams and drinks. The location was right in the middle of the Beaujolais wine route, and was easily accessible to other wineries. Touring Chateau de Briante's winery was also cool, as the entire Chateau is a working winery, which is something we were very excited about. Lauren hosted an informative wine tasting followed by a tour of her facility, it was really cool! The pool area was great to relax at after a long day of biking and touring around. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a nice outdoor entrance to relax at as well. Also, we loved the family's winery dog, he was great at greeting us every time we returned to the property. Would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit the region! The wine at the Chateau is amazing as well, we look forward to finding it in a wine shop soon.
Cons: It would be cool to offer lawn games such as badminton, crocket, etc to play on the front lawn! The front lawn is so spacious, just a suggestion for an extra activity!

Pros: It was so good that this was a return visit for us and we will come again

Pros: Beautiful, huge room. The innkeeper doesn’t speak English, but it was no problem for me and my wife. She was very kind and the room was gorgeous. Too hot to use the pool but it looked nice.

Pros: The double-bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in a long time. Firm, not hard - one person moving on one side could not be felt on the other side. People we chatted with at breakfast had the same opinion. Very friendly welcome, great food, good wines. The host made lots of efforts to cater for my wife's gluten intolerance. We will return.

Pros: Arrived during grape harvesting. Enjoyed walking in the vineyards and sampling their delicious Beaujolais wine. Beautiful large bedroom and bath. Very nice breakfast.

There was also a swimming pool, which we enjoyed. Great restaurants in the area also.

Pros: The hosts and wine tasting
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was total separate from the owners house and had its own small terrace. It was quite spacious and had a nice walk in shower. The owners were very hospitable and could not have done more to help us during our stay. Breakfast was served on their terrace and was excellent with plenty of choice. We took up the option of having an evening meal on our first night and sat on their terrace and ate the meal with them, getting the chance to taste some of the wine they produce with the meal. (We bought some cases before we left) They are a very pleasant and friendly couple and we enjoyed really talking to them during the evening.
Cons: It was recommended that we keep the shutters closed in the afternoon and until the sun set to keep the room cool. However it made the room dark. However not much that could be done about that.

Pros: Beautiful property set in the heart of Beaujolais. Very friendly - and pet friendly - and very helpful hosts. Bedroom and bathroom facilities were great - the bed especially was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect; less-than-ten minutes from most-everywhere we wished to go
Cons: Only thing missing was a mini-fridge in the room. We had to discard some cheese...
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean room and bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Location in between the wineries.
Cons: Arrival not welcoming on location before 4pm. The family did not seem happy about us using the pool area. No where to stay apart from the bed room, outside the facilities only for the family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice accomodation with pool and garden. Great breakfast and hospitallity of the family. The location was perfect in a very pretty landscape. We enjoyed the room and bed. Everything was super great!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The outdoor seating and swimming pool was also excellent and relaxing. The location is quite central to Beaujolais wineries and towns and in a lovely rural setting.
Cons: We booked the family rooms for 4 adults which consisted of a large double bedroom and then a small sitting room converted to a double bedroom via a fold-out couch. This second room was small and meant that we had no common sitting area for the 4 adults except outside. That was ok as, fortunately, the weather was good but would not recommend the family rooms for 4 adults. (the photos showed a sitting room which was assumed to be part of the arrangement and not one of the bedrooms)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly owners, large rooms (with ventilators - much needed in this hot weather), coffee machine in the room, the sumptuous breakfast with local and home made produce, the wonderful garden with pool. This was our second visit, more will definitely follow!
Cons: -

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Our room was huge with a separate living area. Breakfast every morning was better than many hotels would offer. The house dog was an added bonus.
Cons: Didn't get to enjoy the pool enough.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful, elegant house is easy to find from the main road and set amongst the vineyards, with a lovely garden and pool (though we only managed a quick dip before storms and rain set in for the whole time we were there!) The family suite was very nice, smartly decorated, with amazing views all round. Lovely big bathroom. Breakfast was superb! Homemade yoghurt, jams, honey, & orange juice and fresh fruit salad, bread and pastries. Cheeses and ham too. A real treat to linger over!
Cons: The only thing I’d say was that the sofa bed in the smaller room wasn’t great - very creaky. Decor is v smart and would be lovely when room used as a sitting room. Our teenagers loved having a separate room though and slept fine though!

Pros: Amazing views over the beautiful nature, total silence, a great place to relax. Very nice breakfast. Beautiful garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't say enough about the property and our wonderful hosts. We truly enjoyed this incredible and romantic property. Our room, bed and bathroom was our favorite of all the places we stayed in France. It is a bit farther from some of the cute villages but well worth it. We only wish we had a week to stay here and unwind and unplug. We only had 2 night and wished we had at least 3. If we had it to do over again we would have booked 4 nights here. We sure hope to be able to go back. My husband was able to fly his drone here and the footage is so beautiful. He only crashed it once- LOL!
Cons: We didn't stay long enough. The location is a bit far from villages but makes a wonderful and private retreat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely accommodation. Great hosts. Fantastic dinner.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was looking for a hotel while en route from Italy to Paris and wanted something off the autostrada but not too far off. Le Savigny fit those parameters totally, and completely took my mind off the kilometers. This is a hotel with a great sense of style and a very friendly staff, two things that do not always go hand-in-hand. There are inviting outdoor spaces and a great glassed in bar area. They offered a three-course set-menu dinner for 25 euros, which I am very glad I said yes to. In the morning there is a bountiful buffet that includes fresh eggs (there are chickens in the front yard) to poach or boil and all the usual things "continental." Also very pet friendly. At least three of us staying that night had dogs. Sorry I didn't get a chance to check out the spa offerings.
Cons: The place is pretty perfect. If I had to make one criticism it would be that coffee machine doesn't turn out coffee that is commensurate with the quality of the rest of the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming French village just out side of Lyon. I loved it!

Pros: Very nice property, staff friendly, good breakfast, nice room, comfy bed. Lovely pool
Cons: The dinner was too long to wait for. There was only one guy on serving and it was to busy it seemed to be an hour in between the starter and the main. We were tired we had travelled all day.

Pros: Beautiful property in stunning location. Great swimming pool & good food. Great place for one night stop over on our way to Italy
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had been well reviwed so one arrives with a slight degree of intrepidation - but all was good if not great! A superb greeting and a large room which was a junior suite. We did not eat in the hotel but at the sister restarant, Le Benoit. The meal was fabulous - it was a five minute drive away. but worth the effort.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The property was located in the middle of the beautiful vineyards in the Rhône-Alpes. The views were beautiful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely welcome from David, the owner upon arrival and a little history about his grandparent's former house that he and his family have restored. The property is very French and charmingly quirky. Rooms are huge with comfy beds and modern bathrooms. Views are of the neighbouring vineyards. Parking is secure in the courtyard (access through gates) but you do need a car. We had an excellent dinner at a nearby restaurant called l'Esprit Beaujolais in a village called St Etienne des Ouilleres (about 7km away) and slept really well. The breakfast was delicious with fresh croissants and pains au chocolats along with yogurt, bread, jams etc (much of it homemade). I think this B&B represents excellent value for money and a real taste of rural France with Lyon the Beaujolais wines on your doorstep.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After a restful sleep in a very comfortable bed we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast full of homemade food and regional products. We regret that we couldn’t stay longer. We enjoyed the special atmosphere of this ancient house and the warm welcome of the host David. A very special place, hope we can stay there again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were big and spacious, and the beds lovely and comfortable with luxury cotton bed linen. Lovely rural setting in a beautiful part of Beaujolais.
Cons: All good!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a very special and unique place to stay. The owner was very accommodating and the place was so relaxing! The kids could wander around freely and there was plenty for them to do. The terrace was relaxing and breakfast very nice! We would definitely return!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast, beautiful location and house. The room was huge, bathroom was small but everything was there and had a spacious shower. Host was nice, present but not "in your face".
Cons: This place would be heaven if the garden was perfectly kept. Will definitely feel like a huge park then!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved David’s warm welcome and the fact that he still greeted us with open arms upon our arrival, late at night yesterday evening. We adored the historical beauty of the house and the way its been lovingly restored and respected. We got the feeling that the manoir can tell some very interesting story. We would love to visit again!
Cons: Nothing - we liked everything. We highly recommend this place.

6.3 Good
Pros: Mrs. Alice was very friendly and the dinner and breakfast very well. The room very nice and the place very quite. I think it is a place to go for holiday but not for bussiness.
Cons: Not so comfortable if you have to work, very small table and poor light and the bathroom was not in the room, fortunately I was the only guest and I could have it just for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: V welcoming owner, delicious food and wine. The room was well appointed and v comfortable. Alice v helpful in directing us to local wine producers.
Cons: It is not a dislike but an observation. Signage to the chamrbre d'hote could have been better as it was in the countryside with lots of little roads taking you all over the vineyards.

Cons: None

Pros: Hosts were excellent despite our late arrival due to difficulties in finding hotel using GPS & address provided. Owner came to meet us and allowed us to follow to hotel at 20:00 and in the dark!! Lovely evening meal provided & excellent accommodation throughout. Very friendly dogs added to overall experience but may not suit everyone.
Cons: Signposting to location inadequate especially when negotiating narrow unlit mountain roads at night.

5.0 Okay
Pros: hotel location around by the vineyard beautiful chateau and french garden
Cons: the reception staff is not helpful the room is tired and needs facelift soon kettle located in the bath room.... breakfast choice is limited and poorly prepared pillow seemed cheap in quality.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was our third stay and it did not disappoint. Lovely room with own patio in old residence bldg, fabulous dinner and the sun shone the whole time!
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was excellent, although we had a room outside the chateau. The meal was expensive and the service slow, they could have taken our order whilst we were having our pre-dinner drink. The ladies had menus without the prices, I thought that went out of fashion 20 years ago!! Breakfast was very good, but we did not get table service for coffee, which we had at other lower star rating hotels. The orange juice machine was overkill!!
Cons: Supper timing. We had a booking for 7.30pm and did not get our starters until after 9.00pm!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and the restaurant were magnifisant, the comfort of the room in general.
Cons: The materials used tot built the rooms: cheap floor, cheap Doors.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, atmosphere
Cons: Over priced. Mistakes made on bill all in favour of the hotel. Watch out for “Spa sensation “ very poor value for money
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Gardens, grounds, room, dinner
Cons: Breakfast was only mediocre given the high cost. Fine for those who wanted cheese and meat, but otherwise unimaginative and nothing cooked on offer apart from a pile of eggs you could boil.
7.9 Good
Pros: Outdoor heated pool Grounds are spectacular with vineyards Food in restaurant great
Cons: Room felt cramped, for the price Toilet needed to be flushed multiple times Possible to pay 25% less if you pay at last minute
7.9 Good
Pros: The restaurant was very good.
Cons: The booking facilities did not enable us to request the location of the rooms.
