Spacious facilities and comfortable room with good seating area and great balcony and views - altho' bar area a little cold and uncomfortable in it's feel - breakfast great - Helpful staff Food is a little overpriced but very good nevertheless
The feeling of warmth and comfort Dinner is served too late (8.30pm) for international travellers. A better time would be 8pm or even from 7.30pm. The bedroom was too warm, the heat adjustment appliance should be clearly marked particularly as we were requeted not to adjust the radiator.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Excellent! Rooms spacious, clean and well furnished. Restaurant excellent. Staff helpf ul and friendly
The Recptionist (with blonde fair) was very welcoming, helpful and spoke excellent English. The marketing said that the hotel was fully renovated, however renovations were still underway. No chairs on our balcony, pool not in use and no phone in my room. I assumed what I paid covered all of the services advertised and was very disappointed especially as I could use the pool and receive calls from my partner in England, in the room.
This is a wonderful 'old world' hotel built 75 years ago full of character. It is right in the centre of Camprodon which is a mountain town up in the Spanish Pyrenees about 2 hours from Girona.Although it's an old hotel the bedroom had an excellent bathroom and comfortable bed.(book a Superior Room which overllooks the river). If Boutique Hotels are your thing don't stay here!!
The hotel was shut when we arrived. A lady in a nearby bar phoned the manager who led us to another hotel for the night (The Edelweiss)
Keeping setting of old times. The only useful little table at the room occupied by a TV set.
very peaceful campsite set on the edge of the montains. Helpful staff with good english language skills
family atmosphere the facilities for children were dirty and our mobile home smells
It is a nice camping site. Supermarket is at the site, you can cook at your own room, or use the resturant. We wonder why for using the swimming pool we had to pay extra.
Friendliness, cleaness, breakfast
It is in a good locsation to break the journey from the Pyrenees tothe sea. ahugely over-priced for what was on offer, and the time of year. Room was very basic.
Nice and friendly staff, amazing views to mountains. The room is ok - clean and comfortable, but the bed was a little short even for my height (182cm). There was also a nice swimming pool, but we didn't have a time to use it. Wifi available. Couldn't choose the breakfast menu, I prefer the buffet breakfast.
A very friendly, family run hostal with a nice catalan restaurant. Located fairly close to the mountain peaks of the eastern pyrenees. The swimming pool was large and very clean but expensive to use.
Nice breakfast although we didn't enjoy the plate of meat on the first day (embotits?) - much better when we asked for cheese. We had no idea that the hostel's facilities would close the day after we arrived because of the end of school holidays - i.e. pool, games room, and restaurant and bar. Information on thw website to this eefct would have been useful so as not to disappoint expectations. Room quite cramped and dark.
Too expensive for facilities. It was a campground with a hotel attached. Room was spartan with low ceiling and no products. For Spain, and even for France it was way over priced for the value provided. There was nothing we really liked. It was a very minimal facility for a very high price: 90 euros with breakfast far exceeded what we have paid in many much nicer places, like the place we are in now, Auberge Catalane where we have demi pension for 95 euros with remarkable food and a much nicer room.
Breakfast Awful beds, this is a youth hostel not a hotel. You pay the price of a hotel, however.
Located in an area not well served for family hotels. Nice pool. Swimming pool opening hours could have been longer.
