10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am a bit torn deciding on whether what I liked the most was the amazing 4 star breakfast and service (I have stayed in 4 Star hotels whose breakfasts don’t even compare) or the peaceful setting of the B&B and views from the room (and the room was cosy, clean and warm). In addition, I suffer from gluten and lactose intolerance, which I failed to inform them of prior to my arrival and, to my surprise, they were able to cater for a gluten free and lactose free breakfast! The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, and will go out of their way to accommodate you if it’s within their capabilities. I loved my overall experience and will not hesitate on going back if I am in need of some peace and a beautiful scenery. Thank you Kerstin and Bern ( and The rest of the animal family) <3

Pros: Love this place. The owners are so hospitable and we love the property. Would easily stay a week here.
Cons: Everything for us is just perfect. Maybe an honesty bar might work. We know they would bring you little tipple if you were home early. But, we wouldn’t want to disturb. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home. Excellent room. Great breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good accomodation. We had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was quite sumptous. There are a few lovely walks nearby, especially the woods near Mt Shannon. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cons: No major complaints. We were a bit disappointed with the location - its not the facility's fault of course, but having taken the bus thinking of availing their tours, we were dissapointed to see they were overpriced. So had to go back to a nearby city to hire a car (Had to arrange it with the facility without a choice, again overcharged). So I would say, please rent a car if you plan to stay there. The entire village/towns nearby close down very early. Overall, this leg was our dimmest in our entire Ireland itinerary. Our main aim was The Burren, so it was silly we chose to stay there, Doolin or Lisdoonvarna could have been a far, far better choices. If you want to enjoy some places in East Clare, especially around Mt Shannon then this could be a good choice.

Pros: Very likely this is the best B&B I have ever encountered. Michael & John are exquisite hosts and they went out of their way to assist us with every need. On arrival they recommended a closeby restaurant, The Piper's Inn and called to make reservations for our troupe of five. The location north of Killaloe in County Clare was perfect and the scenery from the house was spectacular. Our two 17 yr-old girls spent ours in the stream heading down from the house--catching and releasing froggies!

Pros: The lady of the house was fantantic. She gave of her own time and so much of herself to us as we only had a very sad event in our life. recently. We were able to share it with her which meant so much to us. I know she is very busy and sometimes has to travel and work so far away, but such a wonderful and inspiring lady She gave us hope for next year, gave us a plan to follow, free of charge. and her mobile number to contact. Nobody could have been so kind and caring than Marie. She is a friend for life for myself and my wife.
Cons: Nothing
