Near shops. A functional hotel.
Use of bath tab. Economy motel often times do not have bath, but luckily had a bath. The chairs at the breakfast place were not clean by use of cloth materials which shows marks from sweat of people, I think.
Close to ceremony we had to attend, easy to find and close to highway out of Hamilton. Found few ants, morning, under handtowel left on vanity evening before.room 114
It was nice and close to downtown Hamilton and was a good starting point for the round the bridges walk. We were also able to leave our car here whilst doing the walk which was very handy :-)
The stay at Ventura was comfortable and staff were helpful. Continental breakfast was very good. We were unable to watch the Maori channel.
We only stayed one night, but we liked the location it was very close to town and handy to where we needed to go. The only thing I can think of is the amount of milk for hot drinks. Maybe when ppl come and stay there could be a carton of milk given when they arrive as those little containers of milk are way too small.
The Free continental Breakfast included with our stay. THis is a great draw card for people on a budget. The blinds in the bedroom were too narrow and street lights shone through all night keeping us awake. The couch bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. There were lots of late arrivals during the night and lots of people banging around in the floor above us.
We liked the closeness to town but not noisy, good as a base for the area as well.Very clean and tidy with all amenities Nothing, we enjoyed our stay
Staff friendly, convenient for CBD, quiet location internet connection a little slow
The standard room is large! Very spacious double beds and the rates per night inclusive of parking and breakfast make it a very good deal. I will come back for the breakfast alone - The muesli was delicious. I felt that the reception on arrival was not particularly inviting/warm and contrasted markedly from departure. without being outrightly uninviting.
