Pros: Lovely place with very helpful staff who did everything they could to make us welcome and introduce us to the region. And the breakfast, which was included in the very reasonable room rate, was incredible and of a very high standard. The surrounding area is quiet and very charming with lovely, big houses and vineyards.
Pros: Very quiet residential area in between Meissen and Dresden. Staff is very helpful. Restaurant is superb. Really like how the owner restore the property from ruin sympathetically.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent in a beautiful setting. Nice room and very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is very pleasant.
Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.
Pros: We liked the beautiful villa and the surroundings. Very nice staff and a welcome drink at check in. In the morning - singing birds, fresh air and lovely flower aroma all over.
Pros: Breakfast was very nice. Traveling solo without the kids it could probably turn out to be a romantic place if you are ready to live without some comfort.
Cons: No air conditioning No soundproofing. Squeaky stairs. Trying to preserve the old building has gone a bit to far. It's not very clean. No sound proofing. No light in the room even with every light turned on. The matress is not comfortable. The check in process was long with the receptionist forgeting about us and just talking to other people until we came up to her asking for the keys. The restorant was closed for some reason on the day that we came and the only Italian place that was open near by was very mediocre to say the least.
Pros: Really nice garden with sun beds you can relax in the trees shadow listening to the birds... as well as entire place feels very tranquil... really enjoyed a nice breakfast on a terrace... personnel was very nice and made everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. Thank you!
Pros: We spent here only one night but it was wonderful. Very nice welcome. Very quiet room for the whole night. Perfect bed. Wonderful breakfast like in the chateau. Thank you very much.
Pros: I would have liked a desk in the room because I write, or a dedk elsewhere in the House.

Pros: The female proprietor at desk was exceptionally helpful . The best German food ever. The castle down the road I told family we were thinking of buying. The gardens at Sonn
Pros: Very friendly people, comfy room with a very nice balcony, excellent breakfast, lot of flowers everywhere.
Pros: This was a beautiful place to stay with very friendly owners who were extremely accommodating. We loved our room overlooking the garden with a large shower for my husband who has mobility problems. We ate in Moritzburg and the restaurants there were great. We also spent a day in Dresden which is very handy from this hotel. The hotel breakfast was very good too.
Cons: Originally we had a hard time with our GPS because it didn't seem to list Reichenberg. You should input Moritzburg and then as you get closer the GPS will show Reichenberg.
Pros: The service was excellent. They happily allowed late check in and early checkout -even providing special early breakfast.
Pros: Very nice host. We arrived late but still got quick check in. Breakfast is simple but nice.
Pros: Everything, especially the balcony.

Pros: A quaint old town with lots of great walking and things to see. The hotel was excellent and the restaurant and bar fantastic. The staff were exceptional, especially the barman whom was very funny. We would love to visit again!!
Pros: View from balcony. Dinner. Best restaurant choice in the area was at Zur Ausicht. Other restaurants in town not very friendly.
Cons: I needed to have brushed up on my German more before trying to check in. Last night was very noisy as there was a loud party up the hill that went into the early morning. We need were tired enough that we still slept okay.
Pros: If you're looking for the authentic Saxony experience in an absolutely drop dead gorgeous village, then this the one for you. Very few in the community speak English, but that was problem at all. The staff at the Hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome to the point of finding a Bavarian couple who spoke English to sit with us for Dinner. Our host had little or no English, but we enjoyed every minute of his company. .....The food is worth mention as well.....Love it! Love it! Love it!
Cons: If you're a very nervous driver then Saxony's very narrow roads will be a challenge. The road to the Hotel through the village is an experience in itself, but everyone is so polite that even a nervous driver will feel OK in the cobble stone streets.......After all, isn't that what you're coming to Saxony for!
Pros: The hotel is located in a beautiful little town near Bastei. All the members of staff were very hospitable, helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. We can highly recommend this place.

Pros: very friendly staff, fabulous food, very clean and comfortable room. hotel close to motorway.

Pros: Well, the room was rather clean, at least something.

Cons: The staff's English speaking abilities are limited. The staff is very friendly though, so it is hard to get upset about it. They do mean well and they often do understand what you ask them in English, responding in English can be hard for them. That's why it does help if you speak (or at least understand) a little German.

Pros: Friendly staff, tasty food in the restaurant, quiet surroundings.
Pros: Good location. Big room.

Pros: Miła i sympatyczna właścicielka obiektu.
Cons: 1. Parking full of snow 2. Slippy outdoor stairs - you can break your legs 3. Terrible smell of canalization just from entry to the restaurant; 4. In restaurant from 6 courses in menu available only 2 I took a simple schnitzel with potatoes but during the night I felt terrible, trowing out 4 times; The owner wanted to help me and she gave me a pills for stamack but immiediately we discovered they are from 2016. All hygienic standards are broken there. I was poisoned in that restaurant unable to continue my further trip; Besides: 5. Cold room, missing heating in the toilet, 6. Bed very hard and creaks at night 7. No internal phone, missing contact for emergency reasons with personnel In my opinion that hotel and restaurant broke all hygienic and security standards. I am curious if they really received permission for hotel services;

Pros: This small family-run hotel was a really nice surprise! I spent there a night when on travel from Poland to southern Germany. It'ss located just a few minutes from the highway, but well immersed in the nice countryside surrounding Dresden (which is 15 minutes away). The lady owner of the place is really nice and welcoming, and will give a personal twist to your stay! She also speaks English, which is not so common in the region, and even less in nearby Poland. The place features a good and frequented restaurant. Single room with everything needed for a comfortable one-night stay. Fully working WiFi. Very quiet, ideal for a good rest. Small parking right ahead of the entrance. Gorgeous breakfast in the morning. You should be able to enjoy a good view of the hills from the restaurant, but I visited in very bad weather, so I couldn't see much.
Cons: I couldn't spot an elevator to the room floor. Nothing bad for my case, but may be an issue for elders.

Pros: Room was modern and quite large and overlooked their wine garden. Hotel is located in a quaint little town with plenty of steet cafes. The central court yard and shops adjacent are another bonus. Their restaurant always serves up a great snitzel. This is our second visit and will not be our last.

Pros: The room was very large, with a great view. It came with a smart-tv with Netflix, so we could just continue watching our own stuff - I'm really loving this trend. The room itself was very modern, the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was simple, but enough for everyone and especially good considering it was included in the room price. The location is perfect as well (we were traveling to poland, and used this hotel for a night-rest).
Cons: The only real thing I think could be improved is the coffee in the morning (I'd rather have coffee made from beans), but it was certainly not the worst cup we've had.
Pros: Very comfortable and cosy place located in the very beautiful area and environment. It is very close to the highway but looks like in the middle of mountains. Good kitchen and even better beer.
Pros: Calm and romantic location with nice view from the tarrace. Hotel is outside a village in the forest at the top of a small hill. On the road towards the hotel we faced 3 roe-deers. Room was extra large, bathroom - high standard.

Pros: Especially good sleep. The best during whole travel. Close to highway - no lost time if you plan your time. And totally quiet. As it should be in the countryside
Pros: The location and hospitality of the owners are excellent. The restaurant food and breakfast are exceptionally good!
Cons: Nothing to complain.
Cons: Temperature in the room was 16-17 Celsius despite radiator heated at full trottle. This pension shouldn’t operate in winter time. Dinner at the evening was poor. Snicel has taste of smoked salami, vegetable salad has taste of fish.
Pros: Area was beautiful. Staff did not (seem to) speak English, but they were delightful and we communicated just fine.
Pros: Great location and very accommodating staff. They were happy to prepare food for us at the last minute late in the evening when the restaurant was already closed.
Pros: Good location near autobahn, Nice hotel garden
Pros: Arrived late after 22:00. The hotel owner was ready and waiting for my arrival. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection. Pity I was sent to a another part of Germany by my boss. Else I'm sure my stay would have been a pleasurable one.
Cons: Lovely hotel bar and restaurant. Set in peaceful surrounding. Staff spoke very good English which was a very welcome bonus
Pros: The location and facilities are very good. Good breakfast. Clear bathroom. The blanket was short and not quite comfortable little pillow. Good please to stay for one night, when you travel.
Pros: clean tidy no fuss
Cons: cold coffee & plastic flowers
