the people are just so kind and helpful i felt like at home
The guy who managed the place was friendly
In our house there were 100’s of sow bugs. We did not get an other room... there were dead ants in the fruit juice with breakfast.
breakfast was perfect, coffee very good, friendly staff, nice place near to nature
This place is simply amazing. It is like discovering Shangri-La. Set in beautiful gardens is a quiet oasis. You will have a wonderful well presented private cottage with a decent bathroom. Ours had a huge boulder that was incorporated into the wall. Once a yoga retreat it is now used for accom. Cesar the manager was a brilliant host, and even organised for us to spend a epic day riding mountain bikes from a 4200m mountain pass back to Ollantaytambo. Sadly we were not able to take him up on a offer to go trout fishing with him. Each night he would set a fire going in the large lodge where we were also treated to the best breakfasts each morning, coffee, coca tea, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, juices, bread and more. So incredible was the range I included a shot of that rather than the bathroom. The accom. is 2.5kms out of Ollantaytambo and as we had a hire car this was not a problem. We also caught the tuk tuks when require at a cost of 5 Sols or just a $1.50. We were the only guests and it seems people are put off because it is not in Ollantaytambo itself. I can't rate this place high enough or praise Cesar more for his excellent service. We loved it so much we came back and stayed again after our visit to Macchu Picchu. PLEASE DO STAY HERE!
Nothing negative. Be prepared to be amazed at this place.
