The apartment is situated next door to the owner's Chambres d'hôtes (B & B) in the lively village of Olonzac, the capital of the Minervois. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. There is a complimentary Welcome Pack including tea, coffee, milk, bottled water, fruit, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and a bottle of local Minervois wine. All linen (including beach towels) and cleaning are also included. Situated at street level, the apartment comprises of a comfortable open plan living room and full size kitchen decorated in the Provençal style, and a spacious king bedroom and rainwater shower room. Sainte-Hélène Apartment is situated in the centre of Olonzac which has bars, restaurants, shops, take-aways and a fantastic Tuesday morning market - all just a few steps away. Although it is located close to the centre of the village, it is quiet enough to allow for a great nights sleep. This property is well recommended, particularly as the owners are very flexible about your arrival and departure dates - subject to availability. They go out of their way to make you welcome and have a good knowledge of the region. Living/Dining Room/Kitchen: This area is open plan at street level. There are two comfortable armchairs, a sideboard with TV and DVD player and table and four chairs for dining. The TV receives international channels including UK free to air channels. The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge/freezer, large gourmet double gas oven, large gas hob with wok ring, microwave and all the crockery and utensils you will need to cook up a storm! Bedroom: One large king bedroom with bedside cabinets, large chest of drawers, wardrobe & armchair. Bathroom: There is a bathroom directly off the bedroom with a large rainwater shower, double basin and toilet. The apartment is centrally-heated making it is ideal for out-of-season holidays. There is a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. Parking: Car parking is on the street at the front of the apartment. Internet: WiFi internet access via your own laptop, tablet or phone is normally available in the apartment. Telephone: Unfortunately there is no telephone in the apartment, but the owners will allow use of their private telephone for essential calls. Mobile phone signals in the region are generally good. Winter heating: is included in the rental cost. Gas, electric, & water: are all included in the rental cost. End-of-stay cleaning: is included in the rental cost. Bed & bathroom linen: is included in the rental cost. Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. From 1st April until 30th September, it is chargeable at the 'guide' rate of one euro per person per day, payable direct to the owners. Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 100 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
